Normally I don't write reviews but seeing how there hasn't been one recently that was helpful when I was looking for haircut spots, here we go I made the choice to change where I get my haircut when the barber I went to wasn't giving me a good, or decent even looking haircut. But when I left Henny's salon, I was way more confidence in my cut and satisfied from the service. My sister even told me my haircut looked way better by miles than the place I went to before (Thank you Mary!) Mary and Henny were both very nice when I interacted with them. It is by appointment only so you will need to call in (no walk in). I couldn't find the price board but the price for the haircut as of this review $25 (short hair, might be different if you have long hair). You can get a hair wash before or after the cut. Most of the reviews on here seem to be from girls, but they do cut hair for guys too. Looking forward to getting my hair done at Henny's from here on out! read more

After MONTHS of not doing my nails, this place has saved my nail life! You see Henny, the owner, was also the owner of "Faith Family Nails Salon" but because of the COVID-19 pandemic, she had to shut down one of her businesses. Mia used to do my nails at Faith Family Nails Salon but when it closed I didn't see her until recently !!! Henny Nail Salon is 1 door down from the old salon and Guess who was there ! MIA! Anyways: This nail salon has taken all of the COVID-19 precautions, they only allow 3 people at a time in the salon, hand sanitizer at the door and nail technicians use gloves at all times. I received a haircut from Mary. She really took her time to cut my hair, which I appreciate. I asked for a bob and only described the length I wanted and Mary was able to make sense of it and give me feedback to make sure what she was going to do matched my description. You can get your hair cut without the wash here, a spray bottle helps dampen the hair for cutting, this saves time since hair washes aren't necessary before getting a haircut. I came here July 2021 while the pandemic was still in effect and there were only 3 customers at a maximum in the salon which allowed for distancing. They also accept card payment here which is great since cash isn't the cleanest choice in these times. Great experience, would come again! read more

I'm in love with this hair salon!!!! The staff here is sooooooo sweet!!!! They always make sure you walk out of there looking like a HollyWood SuperStar!!! Everything is always the way you want it. They have 2 washing stations where they give deep cleanings. They also have about 8 chairs for blow outs, straightens, curling, and dying hair. They are super quick and their prices are reasonable. I have nothing bad to say about Henny and her business. I can't think of any cons of this salon!!! Such a great and cozy salon! I use to go to a salon near flushing for coloring and I was always not entirely pleased with the result. However, this changed when I came to Henny's. I had a prom over this weekend so I took a chance and called Hennys salon to book an appointment. An updo is only $35 here which is insane because most places charge on average $90 or more for updos. The service I received wasn't impeccable. Henny, the owner was on vacation so she responsibly left me in the hands of her trusted associate. When booking a free consultation for my hair, Mary opened the store on a Sunday just for me even though they are closed on Sundays! Just so she could look at my hair and see what she was working with, and show me a few styles to see what I would like on the actual day of getting it done. She was very passionate about her work and very precise and kind. On the actual day I was running late due to traffic and I was running on a tight schedule so my time to get my hair done was cut short. Nevertheless, Mary handled the time limit efficiently, doing an absolutely beautiful job. I am still obsessed with my hair days later. She was very professional and knew what she was doing.
