So, when a few of my friends recommended Crystal at Ink & Wink to me, and I saw her work, I knew she was ganna be my gal. I am so, so happy I made the 8 hour trek up to see her!!! I LOVE my brows. I'm currently going through the healing process, which Crystal was so great about explaining what to expect in detail. Had she not explained so well, I'm sure I would have been a little worried, the healing process is lame, but knowing what was to come made me fully prepared. The actual process was so simple, no pain at all, and Crystal was just a joy. I loved that she took the time to really craft my brows specifically for me, taking my face shape and size. My husband went in a few weeks ago for a cavity and was told he needed a crown. When she told him about the crown he tried to explain that he could not afford that, but she try to patch the tooth in the meanwhile. She refused and continued to be very rude to him, so he stood up and left. Additionally, he said that it took about 30 minutes or more for the dental assistant to take his x-rays, something that should be able to be accomplished in just a few minutes, because she kept messing up with the antiquated equipment. My husband's appointment had nothing to do with me,I've been seen once before and while my experience was not like my husband's, I did note that the same Dr. was rude. I called the other day to make an appointment for myself and was told that both my husband and myself were no longer welcome there as patients and that a letter had been sent a "year ago" of such, which we never received. While I was trying to understand what was happening, with a tooth ache, and explaining I had never been rude to anyone there ever and why was I being kicked out for nothing. The staff, the office manager and the Dr immediately started yelling at me and when I expressed that they were being rude to me, they hung up on me. As a side note, all of their equipment is antiquated and takes a long time to use and warm up. I do not recommend this dentist to anyone.

I found Sugar Spice as a recommendation on the Knott (even though I actually did my wedding planning on Wedding Wire). I reached out to her, filled out her questionnaire, and she got in touch with me quickly! I got a call on my phone and only a few minutes in, I was sold that she was the one that had to do my makeup. By this time I had a couple backup options but I selected Anita out of the few. She paid attention to what I wanted, she's easy to talk to, and she made me feel comfortable. My one constructive criticism is that I wish there was better time management. My hair gal took a little longer than expected (not Anita's fault) but later on, I realized that maybe during this time Anita could have done my tattoo coverage or the groom hair styling while I was getting my hair done (this was going to be a bonus anyway and he didn't even need any hair styling he's just so handsome). It was nice that when I was done with hair, she had a cute set up for me in the corner and brought her dad to photograph the process too! I ended up running late for my own ceremony but despite my nerves acting up, Anita made sure not to rush her final touches. Also bonus was that because of my tardiness, a close friend who was coming to the venue as a guest, was running super late and had I not been late, she would have missed the whole ceremony anyway so it worked out! Anita tried to keep me calm and gave me words of encouragement when I started feeling stressed/frazzled which was really sweet of her to do.
