Decided to stop in and grab breakfast on a Friday morning around 8:30 and must say I had a wonderful first visit experience here. There was plenty of parking available and I was pleased that it wasn't super busy and I was able to get in, place my order, and take home delicious breakfast sandwiches for myself and my husband in less than 10 minutes. Walking in I was taken over by the wonderful smell of breakfast food. The green, black, and white decor reminded me of an old deli and there were display cases full of sweet treats, prepackaged lunch items, tables and chairs to sit if you preferred to hang for a bit and plenty of staff available to assist. While I was rather tempted to grab a few sweet treats (I had there cupcakes a few weeks prior and immediately fell in love), I activated my self-control and stuck to the main reason I was there - breakfast. A staff member took my order and I ordered two bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches on croissant bread (I think with the added bacon it was $8 a piece) and I checked out. The young man who assisted me was super funny and sweet and let me know how much time it would take before my food would be ready which is always helpful information. As I waited, I took in all the other things about this location - how big it is where you don't feel like there people on top of people, the dining area is huge and I'd really like to come back to try more food, and there how there was a table just full of other treats (some for humans, some for dogs, and other random party supplies). My food was ready pretty quickly and when my name was called, I grabbed my food, extended gratitude and couldn't wait to get home to try this sandwich. Once I sat down and at home and bit into it, I was in love. The croissant was fresh, the cheese was melted, there wasn't too much egg and the bacon was crisp...a well crafted breakfast sandwich. Simply delicious. Yep. I'll be back. You should go too. You'll like it.

Roast beef poor-boy--pickle and salami totally missing unless you count the 1.5cm long piece of each.

Well, admittedly, I remember their Po-Boys in the 1950's when they were $0.50, rather than $7.99. This is 1/2 a sandwich, the "pickle" is the size of the tip of my pinkie, the salami--I also totally got cheated on--the teeny corner is barely visible. And the bread is no longer their signature hard crust bread--it was chewy. QC has finally dropped to the point I won't be ordering sandwiches from here anymore.

What we got. obvious mistakes and silver glitter after the trim was added to cover mistakes. Its ugly and shows an indifference to my dollar

Communicated with Mgr Houng who responded right away. I used this company for many years. Its product has always been top-notch. Henri's offered to make a new cake. **Ordered the cake with pink glitter and received cake with silver glitter. Cake was overcooked and a bit hard.**

Everything here is good. We always come for the sweets, but they do also offer lunch. They were really nice café here at the South Atlanta Rd. location. Everyone who works here always serves you up with a smile. Great light, bright atmosphere. I highly recommend the eclairs, the napoleons, and any of the cookies.

Could always improve work for customer service but they do a good job despite the lunch rush. Always a good spot to grab lunch and coffee.

I inquired and can confirm the main ingredients actually come from NY: Rye bread, pastrami, corned beef. They also have bagels from NY, and you can buy bread/bagels to take home! Ok, let's discuss this REUBEN masterpiece. They have a few Reuben options, and I selected the NY Reuben which seemed like a good idea and comes as a triple decker. A good sandwich starts with good bread, and this IS GOOD BREAD. This rye was soft and didn't have the strong spicy rye flavors, but rather just a mild flavoring...which I really liked. The meat is critical to a Reuben and I can attest that the Pastrami and Corned Beef was phenominal, tender fall-apart deli sliced cuts of meat with incredible flavor. Next a Reuben needs good dressing. I don't know what the dressing is, but it was heavenly. Put all of this together and you have a cravevable meal that will bring you back again! I am not a COLESLAW kind of guy, but this stuff was through the roof! It was not sour like many make it, rather more creamy and watery. It also had a slight sweetness, albeit it wasn't sweet. The seating environment is clean, open and yet has a slight cafeteria feel. The wait staff was friendly and attentive, even though there were many customers at the lunch hour. My server, Amanda, was easy going and helpful when I discussed menu with her. She was not like some waiters that are not helpful in saying "it's all good". I will be back when in Sandy Springs!!!

Double meat would have been too much, it would throw off the meat to bread ratio. Plenty of thin sliced juicy steak, with the veggies and cheese just all melting together. It was a good Reuben, I think enjoyed it and would go back for another. This trip I was thinking Cheesesteak, but the Outlaw caught my attention, a cheesesteak with a twist. I was a fan of the twist. The pepperoni and salami plus the grilled red onions and banana peppers with the hot sauce crushed!

I've had some that were OK. Some that were good-ish. Some that were simply round bread with a hole in the middle. I began to accept that it just wasn't a thing here. And then today I ordered the whitefish bagel from Brooklyn Deli. Oh. My. God. The bagel was chewy, fresh, and actually tasted like a BAGEL. The whitefish was incredible. The whole thing tasted like nostalgia. Like somebody briefly picked me up from Atlanta and dropped me back on 24th and 3rd for brunch. Absolutely remarkable. No notes. My bagel-related cynicism has been temporarily suspended, and Brooklyn Deli has earned the extremely prestigious approval of one extremely dramatic former New Yorker.

(I'm looking at you, Jack's New Yorker Deli.) But I was in the Ansley Mall neighborhood for some errands and I wanted to see what the fuss was about. It was a Sunday afternoon and the line was out the door so that is usually a good sign. I went with the Brooklyn sandwich (Hot pastrami, coleslaw, swiss, spicy mustard, & Russian dressing). You can opt for the smaller portion of meat (the ATL) or the larger portion (New York). It was just the right amount of coleslaw, mustard and Russian dressing so that the bread wasn't sopping wet. And the pastrami is hot and it wasn't overly greasy either. A nice balance with the side order of potato salad. It was a little more sandwich than I needed for lunch but it was pretty faithful to New York style all things considered. $18.50 for the larger New York version of the Brooklyn sandwich including tax. I was tempted by the Dr. Brown's sodas from back home and all of the pastries and deli items for sale as you are making your way up to the front to place your order. Sunday afternoon is not really the time to shop around because of how busy it gets in there so a return trip is definitely in order.

They're also great about modifying cooking oils for those of us who prefer olive oil or other healthier options. My go-to is an omelette or the nova scramble, with home fries -- big, crispy potato chunks with sautéed peppers and onions -- plus a side of toast, English muffin, or bagel (or swap for salad or fruit). My husband swears by their latkes, too. Classic, satisfying, and a total win for brunch lovers.

I dont know why it's "korean" since it tasted like a normal cheesesteak but with a few jalapenos. I also wish they added in more jalapenos (I got like 3). 2) Garlic Fries with Ranch: - PROS: Very nice texture with a crispy outside and fluffy inside that is not too dense. The flavor comes from the garlic mince that is on top. The ranch is like a mixture of an aioli and tartar sauce (I think they make it in house, correct me if I'm wrong). - CONS: Inconsistent texture as some of the fries were dense but a few had that good hollow crisp bite. Quite oily too. Overall, I enjoyed the cheesesteak but would probably skip the fries next time. I do believe it is good especially the bread. I don't think it is worth all the hype it gets, but it is good.
