What a GEM. I always pass Henri's when I get my brows waxed and finally took a moment to check them out. I visited on a weekday afternoon around lunchtime and they were not hurting for customers - we love to see that! I was so happily overwhelmed when I walked in, I had to really take my time looking around at all of the options and the menus. They had some delicious seasonal options on display such as King Cakes, Mardi Gras cookies and tiny Valentine's Day treats. It was difficult for me to turn those down, but I gained 20lbs just by window shopping. The glass displays of cookies, pastries, and cakes were drool-worthy and I honestly may have actually drooled while staring them down. I don't have a huge sweet tooth but whew, even I was mesmerized. I opted for a pecan tart, a lemon tart and 2 raspberry rugelachs. I planned to simply pop in for a sweet treat... but then I saw someone else's sandwich being made and I had to have one. After stalking their Yelp page, I decided on the club sandwich. The woman behind the counter was busy helping another customer and I was happy to wait, but a gentleman popped up and asked my order, profusely apologizing for the wait. There was barely a wait and even in those few moments, I was simply taking in the delicious smells, but I appreciated his sweet concern. He made my sandwich and packaged it up perfectly to go, along with a prepared pasta salad that I grabbed. On my way out, I changed my mind and decided to take a moment to taste my sandwich and just be. I'm so glad that I did. The bakery was incredibly peaceful, besides the quiet chatter from my fellow patrons, a perfect place for lunch. My sandwich was DELICIOUS. The red onion paired so well with the crispy bacon and turkey, the croissant was so flaky and buttery, wow. Perfection. My pasta salad was also good, but I would have loved just another little pop of flavor to pair with the feta. All of the pastries were fire. Beyond the delicious food, the bakery was so bright and beautiful, and the team was so kind. I like Henri's for the baked goods - they are so beautifully decorated/finished - you eat with your eyes first right? I find the service here to be fragmented - it's not consistently good...today the man behind the bakery counter was in a staring contest with me apparently waiting for me to speak up - my point here is he never acknowledged me or acted as if he wanted to help - I was planning on purchasing something, I didn't expect him to give it to me free...then I decided to get a Smoked Turkey sandwich on Croissant... the young lady only warmed up and started chatting because I did...the cashier was super nice. So end result - Cinnamon Roll, and Oasis Cake (Coconut Cake) so delicious- Won't do the sandwich again - it was nothing memorable- incredibly basic. read more

Decided to stop in and grab breakfast on a Friday morning around 8:30 and must say I had a wonderful first visit experience here. There was plenty of parking available and I was pleased that it wasn't super busy and I was able to get in, place my order, and take home delicious breakfast sandwiches for myself and my husband in less than 10 minutes. Walking in I was taken over by the wonderful smell of breakfast food. The green, black, and white decor reminded me of an old deli and there were display cases full of sweet treats, prepackaged lunch items, tables and chairs to sit if you preferred to hang for a bit and plenty of staff available to assist. While I was rather tempted to grab a few sweet treats (I had there cupcakes a few weeks prior and immediately fell in love), I activated my self-control and stuck to the main reason I was there - breakfast. A staff member took my order and I ordered two bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches on croissant bread (I think with the added bacon it was $8 a piece) and I checked out. The young man who assisted me was super funny and sweet and let me know how much time it would take before my food would be ready which is always helpful information. As I waited, I took in all the other things about this location - how big it is where you don't feel like there people on top of people, the dining area is huge and I'd really like to come back to try more food, and there how there was a table just full of other treats (some for humans, some for dogs, and other random party supplies). My food was ready pretty quickly and when my name was called, I grabbed my food, extended gratitude and couldn't wait to get home to try this sandwich. Once I sat down and at home and bit into it, I was in love. The croissant was fresh, the cheese was melted, there wasn't too much egg and the bacon was crisp...a well crafted breakfast sandwich. Well, admittedly, I remember their Po-Boys in the 1950's when they were $0.50, rather than $7.99. This is 1/2 a sandwich, the "pickle" is the size of the tip of my pinkie, the salami--I also totally got cheated on--the teeny corner is barely visible. I've had happy experiences at the Buckhead Henri's so ordered a takeaway sandwich & some sweets from this one on the way home from an appointment off Ellsworth. The sandwich ordered was a Roast Beef Po Boy which ended up looking nothing like the one pictured on the menu. Go out there and look at that sandwich - piled high with roast beef - then check out my photo. Yep - no roast beef at all and very little of anything else. Skimpy skimpy. If there's no roast beef available (and I don't know that there wasn't) maybe let the customer know?? This was a no-go for basically $9. I've had better grocery sandwiches. The eclair ordered was ok - it was fresh and the filling was good (and plenty). Only the chocolate ganache on top was off - it wasn't a smooth ganache but grainy - more like a boiled icing for a cake. Not inedible but just odd. There were also two cookies that my husband said were fine. Bottom line - check your sandwiches before leaving here and maybe don't expect a classic eclair. Everything here is good. We always come for the sweets, but they do also offer lunch. They were really nice café here at the South Atlanta Rd. location. Everyone who works here always serves you up with a smile. Great light, bright atmosphere. I highly recommend the eclairs, the napoleons, and any of the cookies. read more

I have always enjoyed going to Henri's! Whether for a quick breakfast and coffee or a nice lunch and pastry it is always a great option. The staff is always very friendly and have such a wide variety of baked goods to satisfy anyone's cravings. I'm glad I called because nothing was ready for pick up or delivery. The second time by breakfast Turkey was missing egg. Besides the missing element and inbetween temperatures, there is true potential. Henri's bakery serves different varieties of desserts, few selected sandwiches, coffee. A good place to have a quick lunch. This location has parking avaliable! Plenty of seating inside and patio area as well. They do have heaters in the patio area! I've tried their turkey sandwich (you get to choose the type of break from white, brown, french, onion). The sandwich was decent. The choc bomb is the best dessert they got. Most of there dessert/bakery choices are good! Overall a decent place to grab a quick lunch or get coffee/snack. read more

This review is just for the gluten-free chocolate chip cookie. It was super soft and moist, but the taste reminded me of a store-bought gf chocolate chip cookie I've had before. I haven't tried their lunch foods yet, but I've read good things and really want to try the Chicken Salad Sandwich! I'll update this review once I try it! I have tried the blueberry muffin, heath bar cookie, cheese danish, cronut & petit fours and they are seriously ALL amazing. My top three are definitely the petit fours, of course, the cronut and the blueberry muffin!! You can tell they are baked with quality ingredients and that cronut is to DIE for. This is one of the newer buildings in this area. The interior is nice and the employees were very sweet. I loved the presentation of all the treats they had in the building. I ordered the peanut butter cookie and a key lime tart. I thought the tart was pretty good but the cookie could have been much better. I would have liked to see the prices displayed for the baked good. While we are on the subject of prices, I felt that these baked items were expensive. The items are too small for me to pay some of those prices. I can see some potential in this establishment but they do would have to make some changes. read more

we came in for a light lunch and it was a good choice! I had the ham and Swiss on a croissant, toasted and it was very flavorful and filling. My husband couldn't resist and got the double doozie cookie. Wow! Talk about sugar overload but it was very good. My parents shared a turkey sandwich and an oatmeal raisin cookie. The cookie was soft and was very good. You could definitely taste the oatmeal raisin without one overpowering the other.
