    Walnut Meat Street Tacos
    Krystle W.

Stopped in for lunch and let me say...they did NOT disappoint. I do ordered the Walnut Meat Street tacos and I don't care for tomatoes but when I tell you I ate everything on that plate! I also ordered the curry chickpea soup which was delicious and hot right in time for the flurries that came while I was there. In addition my counterpart got the MLT and is not a mushroom fan but could not put the sandwich down. If we weren't pressed for time we wanted to order more to go. The woman at the front was very informative and personable I appreciated her explaining the menu and letting us know what wasn't available as soon as we walked in. It is a smaller store front but they do have tables if you wish to stay and eat.

The food here was good. Nothing crazy good but some solid Vegan food. For the price though, I did expect a little more as it was a bit pricey for just another lunch

Bee was very welcoming and helpful with navigating the menu. They only have two small tables with two chairs to sit down and eat there. Your order will be packed up for carry out. I was a little shell shocked on the pricing though. A sandwich was $16-$17 a la carte. For a small Tamarind BBQ sauce, $2.50! We ordered the Mushroom MLT sandwich and the Fried Oyster shroom sandwich, both were tasty.

The fried oyster sandwich was yummy and the service was fantastic. I can't wait to return.

Service was great and the place looked brand new. The walnut meat pasta I ordered was alright. The kamut pasta tasted like gluten free pasta but it wasn't gluten free. My partner ordered the Philly sub but he said it was alright. He expected more of the portobello in the sub.

    Oyster Mushroom tacos (I think)

First of all, the owner, she's a real one. She knows what real health is, mind, body and soul. It's evident in the food and in the employees. Like B, who ordered for me sight unseen. Her soul is vibrant and light. She radiates positive energy. On another note. Not sure if what happened in my mouth after the first bite of the Oyster mushroom tacos was legal 5 stars is an insult. Your gift is limitless

MLT on sourdough! The bread is from a local bakery and so delicious.

I came in today for lunch with my hub. I have been waiting for this cafe to open for a while and it definitely didn't disappoint. I had the most amazingly delicious and nourishing lunch. I started with the Cookies and Cream smoothie which was off the charts good. It kind of has a bit of a peanut butter flavor but it's tahini. It tasted like dessert. This smoothie was a meal in and of itself but I kept going! Next, I tried the G Burger with burro fries. This is like a falafel burger and the fries aren't actually fries but burro bananas (no starch)! The fries were coated with a delicious spicy seasoning. I loved both items. They were cooked to perfection and had a lot of flavor. I am still so full after eating all 3 items so I won't need dinner now. The portions are really large and satisfying. The prices are a bit higher but you get what you pay for. I will gladly pay extra for quality food. I spoke to the owner and everything is farm to table and fresh. They don't use crappy oils (only grapeseed for frying and avocado for the rest) and all ingredients are marked on the menu. Plant/vegan food can be really unhealthy as they normally use lots of processed ingredients, soy, etc. but the food here is very consciously selected for your health. There are a couple of tables to sit at but mostly it's a take out place. My hub tried the MLT which was a mushroom, lettuce, tomato on sourdough sandwich and I tried it and it also was delicious. The cafe is in a cute neighborhood in Vinings so you can shop after too. I will definitely be making a stop here weekly and I'm so excited to have a plant based option for food that's actually healthy and delicious. Run don't walk here!

Cute little restaurant in a strip mall…read more I ordered an iced salted coffee, fried egg Banh Mi, and pork egg rolls. Unfortunately, I was given a different sandwich. It looks like they gave me the Special Banh Mi, instead of the fried egg. I believe it was missing the meat floss and pate, but otherwise it looks like a regular Banh Mi. I had also asked for no jalapeños, but there were a few (no biggy, I just picked them off). Everything was really yummy. The drink was just the right amount of sweetness, with that rich coffee taste. The pork egg rolls had a good amount of filling, though I wish there was a little more sweet chili sauce. The sandwich bread was a little dry/hard, and I thought maybe it could have had a little more filling (probably if the floss and pate were on it, that would have made the difference). It did have two different pork rolls (cha lua and thit nguoi? Sorry if I misspelled). The flavor of the pork rolls was 10/10. I will be thinking about this food until I go back lol.. I definitely want to try their other menu offerings as well! Pricing was good, considering everything is so expensive now. Before tip and convenience fee (I ordered online) it was just under $22.

The two ladies in the front were busy- one washing dishes and one seeming to sift through delivery order tickets. Once I was finally acknowledged, it took a while more for one to take my order. I was about to turn around d and walk out when she finally took my order. Point being, customers in front of you are the priority. Moving on to the food, I had the pork vermicelli which they serve in a big bowl (probably usually used for the pho). I enjoyed my dish. The pork wasn't too fatty and the toppings (mint, lettuce, bean sprouts, and pickled radish and carrot) didn't overtake the dish. Overall, I enjoyed their vermicelli better than a recent competitor in the Smyrna. I'll try them again but if their customer service isn't better, that'll be my last time.

The food was excellent, the drinks were on point, and our waitress did an awesome job handling such a large party. She stayed on top of everything and made sure we were taken care of all night. After dinner, we decided to check out the speakeasy through the freezer door--Eleanor's--and unfortunately, that's where the experience took a turn. The atmosphere itself was nice--semi-dark with a cool concept--but it could definitely lean more into a darker, more immersive speakeasy vibe. The bigger issue, though, was the service. It was night and day compared to upstairs. The waitress came across as rude and unwelcoming from the start. A few of us sat down in a small corner area with an L-shaped bench and some extra chairs we had to pull over ourselves. Obviously, with 12 people, there was no way we were all fitting there, yet she insisted she wouldn't take any drink orders until everyone was seated. That made no sense, especially since there was standing room and even a bar-height table available. To make matters worse, there was zero acknowledgment of the birthday--not even a simple "happy birthday," which felt like a missed opportunity given the occasion. When we asked about Fireball shots, the response was a blunt "um, no," followed by "you can have water," as she started filling glasses. That pretty much summed up the vibe we got. Not sure if this is typical service down there or just an off night, but it was enough to make us decide we wouldn't come back to the speakeasy. Bottom line: If you're in the area, definitely check out Muss & Turner's for dinner--it's worth it. But I'd skip Eleanor's and save your time and money.

When you get your order inside, EVERYTHING is put in a to-go bag and NOTHING is labeled. We had 5 sandwiches in our group and everyone ordered theirs a little differently (some wanted sweet peppers, some wanted spicy peppers, some wanted their bread dry, etc.) There was no way to tell whose sandwich was whose until we completely unwrapped each sandwich - which I don't think you're supposed to do. I ordered mine dry - sorry, I'm not from Chicago and I loathe soggy bread. I finally went back to the counter and just asked for a plain bun and transferred my meat and giardiniera to the new bun. They were very friendly and accommodating with this request. It was a little frustrating because I told the man at the counter when I ordered that I didn't want my sandwich wet at all. NOTE - You will need a LOT of napkins if you get an Italian Beef. Everything tasted great - I even dipped my sandwich in the side cup of au jus a little bit. Would I return? Probably so. I would most likely order separately from the group order to ensure mine is correct OR ask for the bun on the side.
