The bagels were perfect: crisp and firm on the outside, moist and chewy on the inside, and a great size. My whole family enjoyed them. The breakfast sandwich was amazing--flavorful egg, melty cheese, and tasty ham all stacked on one of those fresh bagels. The coffee was excellent too, and they nailed my order with just "a touch of milk." Staff was super friendly and welcoming--big thanks to Sayed! Loved the sandwich and really appreciated the service. My only critique? I should've bought 2 dozen bagels instead of one, because they didn't last long at all. Highly recommend this spot.

We didn't return for some time after that. Fast forward to today. We decided to go Goldbergs for bagels, just because it was convenient. The same owner comes in and sits next to a family with 4 kids. These kids were loud (normal for kids) and standing/jumping on the seats. The owner does not yell, tell them to be quiet, or even look annoyed at their family. Sad realization: owner's "be quiet and eat" rule only applies to minorities.
