The owner & chief pharmacist (Eric) is exceptionally knowledgeable & caring. Hepps Pharmacy is "old school" in a very good way. When you walk in everybody knows your name & makes you feel comfortable. Your prescription are ready or will be ready in minutes not hours or days like big chain pharmacies. It seems to me his prices on prescriptions is more than fair. He's one of those guys who wants the best for his clients. The best pharmacy in the Los Angeles area. The pharmacist is extremely knowledgeable and kind. There is always parking available at the building and if you don't want to pick up your prescription, they either do delivery or mail it to your house. The lead pharmacist, Dr. Asher, is always there to answer questions. They always have medications that other pharmacies are out of and are very quick. Pricing is also less than other pharmacies in the area. read more

My daughter and I got our flu shots today and the experience could not have been better. 1000% better than CVS. I called ahead to make sure they offered flu shots and instead of getting an automated phone tree, an actual human (who was polite and helpful) picked up on the second ring. We came in the same day and the pharmacist quickly administrated the vaccine with virtually no wait and the shot was so gentle, neither of us even felt even a tiny pinch that often goes along with the shot. If I could give this pharmacy ten stars, I would. I called to schedule an appointment for a vaccine, and my call was picked up after just one ring. They scheduled my appointment much sooner than I expected which was a definite "plus". On the day of my appointment, as soon as I walked in, the staff greeted me with big smiles. Even though I was about an hour early for my appointment, they didn't make me wait until my time and took care of me right away. The Doctor who gave me the vaccine, Dr. Asher Esagoff, was extremely nice and sweet. Also before I left, he came out to say goodbye and to make sure that I didn't have any side effects from the vaccine. Can't say enough good things about Hepps. The staff is great, very professional and helpful. It's so nice to deal with a Pharmacist and staff that take time to listen and FOLLOW THROUGH. In a time when it seems customer service is becoming way too automated and impersonal it is SO NICE to be treated by Hepps like a patient with needs and a NAME. Before I found Hepps I very frustrated dealing with pharmacy's automated attendants and rude employees who made me feel like they were doing me a favor and or that filling my order was not important. Received my Covid vaccine today (J&J). Helps Pharmacy is one of the few places offering this type, and I felt lucky to have received an appointment, especially since I live only a few miles away. Overall, excellent experience! The pharmacist himself - Asher - was highly attentive & personable; I've had one allergic reaction in my life (age 3, to penicillin) so he had me wait 45 mins after the injection in case something were to occur (it didn't). He checked in w/me a couple of times during the wait period. Highly recommend this pharmacy for its professionalism. There is street parking + parking lot. read more

Really great service, and lovely staff!! I'm new to Hepps, and am going to transfer all of my medications to them from CVS. I haven't had any long wait times with my last two medications here, parking was a breeze, and prices were great. I'm currently taking a strict regimen of medication that I've been on for about 7 years, ie. Blood pressure, anxiety, depression- so communication with my doctor regarding refills is essential. I will update my review in a month or two, to see if CVS on Pico is better. I really do not like the long lines at CVS, but the pharmacy staff and their ability to text me when my refills are ready is VERY convenient. So far Hepps is on point. CVS IS DEFINITELY NOT BETTER THAN HEPPS!!! I'm super happy with my choice to switch pharmacies! Hepps is honestly great! The transition went extremely well, they handled everything!! Had to pick up my gout medications in LA area because my wife works in LA and wanted to go to a local pharmacy for convenience! My typical pharmacy is CVS in Diamond Bar (My whole family picks up their meds there too). But after trying out Hepps and meeting Dr. Asher I think I found my new favorite pharmacy. (Unfortunately it's an hour away from me). The workers are quick on their feet, knowledgeable, and most of all, Dr. Asher wouldn't let me leave without explaining to me how my medication works. (This stood out the most to me because most pharmacies I have gone to, they would bring out my medication, and barely even explain to me what I'm taking).
