Classist, nasty, family pharmacy!! I wouldn't trust a single person here with your health. This is the type of treatment they give to people. In his words I called to check if they had my medicine available after not having my medicine for weeks since everywhere is back order right now and after him questioning me insanely about where I live and what pharmacy I used to go to, asked me about previous medication??? Told me he has my medication in stock but can't fill it due to higher officials?? "I cannot fill your prescription bc that's just how the world works right now." This person was speaking to me insanely and should not be working in the health care field at all!!! Your jobs is to fill medicine of people and your nature is just nasty and degrading. I wouldn't trust him and I've already filed complaints to the California board of pharmacy. Called back again and voice recorded more just for them to switch up their entire tone and mannerism and tell me I'm making them uncomfortable after they did this???? Very weird. Unfortunately, this pharmacy has made a 180 since my last review. Sometime around 3 years ago they started to charge for certain prescriptions & blame the situation on the insurance. Interestingly, other pharmacies close by doesn't have the out of pocket charges. Come to find out they really attempt to charge for bulk orders such as 3 months supply. There are specific meds which can be bulk ordered that is administrated every couple weeks or so. The pharmacy refuse to bulk order this med. So we inquired with several other pharmacies then found out that pharmacy make less money when meds are sold in bulk. Albeit the front desk lady is still pleasant, the lady pharmacist or the shorter male pharmacist isn't. There are many more viable, less expensive and friendlier options nearby. The staff is extremely helpful while being kind and patient. They were attentive and did their best to answer all my questions and I enjoy every encounter I have shopping here. The shelves & displays were well stocked and easy to find what I was looking for. They have delivery service which I didn't use but thought was helpful for elderly people who might need extra attention. The best thing about going with Supercare over the bigger pharmacies is the staff knows you and maintains constant communication with you and your doctor(s). I was deciding whether to leave a review and after awhile I think I should. So about 3 months ago, I came through the rear entrance with a friend to get some bandage supply. As I stayed in the rear section I overheard the pharmacist having a real condescending conversation with someone on the phone. she was giving some kind of medical advice. Not sure this is even a job for the pharmacist, however, shortly after hanging up, she was actually making fun of the person who called by making snarky remarks. Not certain that I would want someone so unscrupulous to handle my medications. Although the front desk girl is friendly, we won't be going again. I have never been to a pharmacy with such bad customer care before. I lost a lot of money here that was told would be refunded back to me if I gave them my insurance information even though I was hesitant to pay when they said that I still trusted them. Then after calling them with my insurance information they said sorry we don't accept that insurance. That's something that should be explained by the pharmacy when asking twice about being reimbursed for insurance, and not them expecting you to know these things as a first time customer. The attitude from the girl working there made the experience even worse. There are plenty of other small pharmacies around that you can go support that will treat you better than this one. I'd suggest even a bigger pharmacy to go to even and you will be handled with more care. read more

I used to go to their Malibu location, but I've been coming here since we moved nearby. It's been 2+ years and every time I walk into Super Care I still feel like I've walked into a friend's house. Everyone remembers my name and is always incredibly friendly (especially Kam who works at both locations). Super Care is by far the BEST pharmacy in existence. They go above and beyond to answer all my questions, contact my doctor for refills, deal with any and all insurance issues--which I never usually hear about anyway because they have already dealt with whatever the issue was--and they are SO FAST! They are the most competent, adept, efficient, friendly, knowledge, caring, (READ: flawless, perfect in every way) pharmacy--business in general--I have ever had the pleasure of going to. It concerns me that people still go to Rite Aid (or any other pharmacy) when they could go to Super Care. I truly have no idea why people elect to deal with CVS, Rite Aid, etc. Has anyone ever had a "5 star" experience at those pharmacies? The only rational I have is that it's 24 hours so I guess in rare circumstances it would make sense (as it would be the only option) to go to Rite Aid--and it would still be an awful experience. Super Care is a great family pharmacy with pharmacists that truly know their customers. They have helped me for several years and I prefer a pharmacy like Super Care over the large chain pharmacies. They always have my medications in stock and they have an even selection of health care items and quality brand supplements. I also enjoy the ever changing unique and quality gift items for my daughters and/or wife depending on what's there at the time. The personal service from Super Care is remarkable and I've never had to go elsewhere or wait long for my prescriptions. I am very happy to have found this pharmacy. After having such a hard time with the larger/chain pharmacies, my doctor recommended super care drugs (which is across the street from my doctor). They always have my medicine ready for me, if i need a refill they will call my doctor for me, and I really appreciate that they are open Saturday's and can arrange delivery of my meds. Been going here for over a year after I got fed up with Rite Aid. Excellent service, no long lines, and you can speak directly with the pharmacist anytime. After our family using the other pharmacy for over 20 years Super Care made us feel like part of their family instantly. The entire staff goes above and beyond for all of our needs!! I was so fed up with getting the runaround at other places, and I couldn't be happier to have found this unbelievable gem. The level of customer service provided by both Cam and Raul is unparalleled. I can call in my prescription and they have it ready for pick up minutes later. They have even gone as far as to hand deliver things to my office nearby! The best pharmacy ever! I didn't think it was even possible to get your prescription in less than 5 minutes! And I'm not talking about ordering it in advance.
