I have always had very light eyebrows. The type that looks like I shaved half of it off. I've always drawn them in and have tried every possible eyebrow kit from anastasia to benefit. The problem is that not only do I have almost no eyebrows, I also have oily skin, so I'm always worried that I've rubbed my eyebrows off somewhere. If I could give this place 10 STARS, I would! EYELINER: Elysia and her assistant are very nice and patient people. Elysia did a FANTASTIC job with my eyeliner tattoo. The edge of my left eyelid is flipped a little higher than my right, and I normally wear less makeup eyeliner on that eye to make the right and left eye appear symmetrical. I explained to Elysia my situation and she made my eyeliner tattoos NATURAL LOOKING and more importantly, appear symmetrical on each eye. It is a pricey procedure, but it is W-O-R-T-H IT! EYEBROW: Update! I had my brows done 5 days ago, and even my most critical friends LOVED them. They look NATURAL and SYMMETRICAL, which is exactly what I wanted! They frame my face beautifully and I love them. They were dark the first day, but lighten up by day 4. After I saw my friend's natural looking eyebrows and eyeliner, I decided to check out Hera for myself. Eylsia is very professional, honest, and patient with trying to understand exactly what her customers want. After listening to me patiently, she showed me a "mock up" of what my eyebrows and eyeliner would look like with regular makeup. After she got my approval, we proceeded with the permanent makeup. This is actually my first post. I'm posting because I really love what they've done to my brows! Really big thank you to you guys:) Now I don't have to worry about my brows any more. I saw some reviews saying that the brows they tattooed on don't match. Ladies, unless you have perfectly symmetrical face, your brows are not suppose to be exactly the same. Think about it, even identical twins don't grow up exactly alike. Say my left eye is slightly longer than my right eye. While visually they look pretty similar, if you put a ruler against them, they are going to measure differently. Thus so I would want my left brow to be slightly longer than my right one so that it will look more symbiotic. If my brows were to be exactly the same, it will draw more attention to the difference between the length of my eyes. So yes, my tattooed brows are not exactly the same. You may even see a slight difference in the before and after photos. But they frame my face perfectly and create an illusion of a slimmer face :) I'm very happy! They are very natural too. Also, the two ladies who work there are very professional, friendly, and just in general nice. If you are having trouble booking an appointment on weekends, try weekdays. They were as patient with me at my first session as the touch up session. My mom and I came to Elysia with previous Microblading that we were unhappy with (my mom also had some scarring) and she was able to cover them up with the Microblading+Embroidery combo on both of us. She is very meticulous and makes sure that your brow shape and color will suit your face. Elysia and her assistant are extremely sweet and accommodating. Elysia will have you draw on your brows how you usually draw them on, and then she shows you how how she will do your brows before she actually gets started to make sure you are satisfied. Also, the procedure was painless for me! They made sure I was completely numb before starting on my brows. Besides a little bit of itching on my brows during the healing process(which is very normal), there was zero discomfort involved. Also, during the healing period, my brows didn't look too bad at all, just darker than usual. I got my brows done & I have to say it's THE BEST thing I've done for myself! I don't have to struggle every morning to draw my brows in even or worry if they're asymmetric. I don't have to worry about sweating off my brows in the summer or my brows getting washed off in the rain or at the beach. I can just wash my face & go! Great customer service and skills. I had my hairline and eyebrow 3d permanent make up done about 2.5 weeks ago. I wanted to wait until the tatoo heals completely before posting a review. I love the result! The first couple days I was really scared that it turned out to be way too dark, especially the eyebrow. I barely have my own eyebrow so the change seemed even bigger at the time but after 4 days it started to fade and now it looks very very natural. For the hairline tatoo, I love the result because it made my M shaped forehead more like U upside down, looks really good when I pull all my hair up to go work out. I was super nervous about getting my eyebrows done even though it is only a semi-permanent tattoo. I didn't have anything to worry about. Before you commit to anything, Elysia's consultation shows you exactly what it will look like and YOU have the final say in how you want the tattoo to look. I had my eyebrows done in May and they looked fantastic right away. (My Yelp profile picture shows my eyebrows one week after the procedure.) Even I had a hard time distinguishing what was my real hair and what was tattooed in. A few months have passed since the procedure and they look very natural and pretty. It is still me but enhanced. Honestly, worth every penny. In the past, I would worry that I had rubbed off my eyebrow makeup when it was hot outside or I had an itch and scratched my face. One of my friends recommended this place to me and after looking at the pictures, I decided to come here since I wanted a natural look. I have to say, I love love love my eye brows!!! They look natural and I save a lot of time not having to draw eye brows in the morning every day. And she definitely has a lot of experience and knows what she is doing. She has done celebrity make up in Korea and I think that makes her know what looks good on you and what eye brow shape fits your face. She does a good job with numbing cream so it wasn't very painful when I got mine done. It only stings a little after. She gives you an ointment to put on for about a week and I think it helps with healing process too.
