I cannot imagine anything that could have made my experience better at Here Comes the Dress. It was absolutely flawless from the get go. Beginning with personnel- I would say these women became my friends throughout the process. When I entered the store, they were so welcoming and excited to see me! It felt as though we "spent the afternoon together" as opposed to just exchanging business. Something you seldom find these days. It was a very relaxing, fun experience. The owner, Aubrey, was so kind and enthusiastic. She not only made the process enjoyable and served us mimosas :) , but she was outstandingly gifted with wedding knowledge! I literally looked through every single dress in the store and she helped me narrow it down to 5 to try on. After only 5, I had already said yes to the dress!!! I was more than satisfied with my decision!! She quickly depicts what will look best on you and what you will be happy in. The seamstress, Antonella, did an absolutely perfect job altering my dress. She's one of the sweetest and most talented ladies I've ever had the pleasure knowing!! I'd go to her for anything if I could!! Aubrey's knowledge and passion show in ALL the staff at the store. The entire atmosphere was all I could have hoped for in my wedding dress search. It's unfortunate I can only do this once for my OWN wedding, but I will make sure to recommend this store to as many future brides as I can!! I had a great experience with Here comes the Dress today! I emailed them the night before to request an appointment for the next day, not really expecting to hear back... But I did! They were quick to respond and fit me in. I went in a picked out a few dresses that I thought I would like, and then the woman helping me picked one as well.. I didn't think it was really my taste but I went for it and... I LOVED it... It fit everything I wanted! She really listened to my venue, season, and type of dress I wanted and I couldn't be happier! Not only was it perfect she then went on to tell me it was discontinued and I could get the sample for almost half the price! It was already in near perfect condition, but she assured that when I came back closer to my wedding to get it altered to my size, that they would fix anything wrong with it! I really felt like they were trust worthy and have no doubts that they will make my dress perfect! I will be sure to comment in January to let everyone know how the alterations went, but as of right now I have no worries, these women know how to run a business, and I would highly recommend them! read more

I hate to write this but I definitely want to make my experience known. When I came to Here Comes The Dress for their Christmas in July sale it was nothing but hectic. There were about 5 sales staff that all sat behind the desk and did not help anyone. I had to not only go up to someone for a question, but go back again because there was no follow up. I really wanted to like this place but it was very underwhelming. I was put in an alternation room to try on dresses WITH NO HELP! This was my first experience trying on dresses and I didn't even know where to begin... but I had no help. I didn't even get the chance to get pinned in the dress. I know this is not the normal circumstances of the shop, but there were 5 employee there with their arms crossed behind the counter... the least they could have done is go around the shop and help the soon to be brides. I had MUCH better experiences at other local shops (even on their Bridal Sale day)!! Additionally, if you are looking for a Justin Alexander dress they don't have all of them, even though the site says they do. So beware if you are traveling from out of town. read more

I can not say enough about how amazing this bridal shop is. They are helpful, friendly, and very accommodating. This is by far the nicest bridal shop in the area. I visited this store with plans of purchasing a gown I had tried on earlier in the day at anither salon. While I waivered back and forth I was never pressured and was actually given space to talk over the decision with my family. When I was reluctant they worked with me to help lower the price of the gown so I felt comfortable with my purchase. The store is very clean and classy. While it is small and their selection isn't huge, they have a very broad range of styles. Additionally, I felt that this store, unlike other salons actually made time for me during my appointment. It wasn't like some stores where you make an appointment and then end up still getting shoved in a corner. My only negative about the store was that the dressing rooms are on the smaller side. Even so, the consultant, me, and five ballgowns could still fit in the room. Please give this store a visit. They are amazing and very helpful. read more

I cannot stop singing the praises of Here Comes The Dress! I discovered them at a Bridal Expo and I went there shortly after, first with my girls. In the first visit, I found a dress that I THOUGHT was the one, but decided to go back on my own so I can come to a clear decision. Between appointments, I spoke with Aubrey, the owner, who sent me examples of other dress options, and even guided me to a beautiful bridesmaid skirt that I can change into, later in the reception (my dress was a 2-piece). Over the course of the months leading up to my wedding, Aubrey and her staff were very helpful, professional, and just wonderful! I always felt that I was getting their full attention, even when the boutique was packed with other customers! The service at Here Comes The Dress is the Gold Standard, and they absolutely set the bar. I had a WONDERFUL experience with them, and will gladly recommend them to anyone on the hunt for a dress. I found the dress of my dreams at Here Comes The Dress. I live in Indy, but I am originally from Chesterton, and Here Comes The Dress was the first place I tried. I worked with Marilyn, she was so sweet and very accommodating. I had tried on a few that I liked, but after she knew my style she said, " I have just the dress." She pulled THE ONE, and it was a Maggie Sottero; stunning and perfect on me! Since I live in Indy, they were awesome about scheduling my fittings around when I would be home. Two months before my wedding, I found out I was pregnant! Marilyn was so helpful and reassuring that everything would work out. She was right! They had to add a little fabric to the back of the dress two weeks before the wedding, but other than that I was fine. They had the dress altered and ready to go in 7 days. I live about 2hrs away and fell in love with a Justin Alexander dress that I just HAD to have! I called everywhere to try and find it cheaper than the $1700 + $1000 in alterations that had been quoted to me. I found #HCTD and it was such an amazing experience! I came during a 50% off sample sale and purchased mine off the rack as I had less than 3 months till the wedding. All of the staff went out of their way to help ensure that the dress was perfect! I had it altered and they did an amazing job that was significantly cheaper than all other shops! Totally worth the drive to Chesterton! Due to my job (and getting lost) I was late to all 3 of my appointments and all of the ladies were nothing but sweet and kind trying everything they could do to help me. I would highly reccomend this shop, it is truly one of a kind. read more

I am delighted with my entire experience here! The staff is great, responsive and very friendly. They listened to what I was looking for in a dress and I found exactly what I was looking for. The appointment was so relaxed and fun and we even had champagne and cupcakes during! Despite it having a very boutique feel, the prices are reasonable. Most dresses were between $1000 and $1500 and same goes for the bridesmaids, I think most were under $220. They are now doing tux rental, which I wish I had known, but I had already lined up tuxes somewhere else. I have not had my alterations done yet but a friend of mine got her dress here and had alterations done and was really happy with the results. read more

The owner seemed to know what would work for me, and I ended up in the most amazing wedding dress, even though it wasn't what I first had in mind for myself. I am so thankful she picked it out and had me try it on. Also, my bridesmaids purchased their dresses from Here Comes the Dress and they all loved them! The alterations were perfect and reasonably priced. I definitely recommend this bridal shop....no snootiness as I have seen at so many other bridal shops. I had the pleasure of having my first wedding dress shopping experience at Here Comes the Dress. The shop has so many great styles to choose from and my stylist Julianna was the best. She was so patient in helping me find dresses that would compliment me. I never felt rushed or pushed to make a decision that day, but instead encouraged to take my time and enjoy my appointment. While I didn't end up choosing the dress I narrowed it down to at this store it was a very hard decision! I still think about that dress. Bought my wedding dress here and from the first time in the shop up until my final fitting, everyone was amazing! Even though it's a small shop, they have a good selection and the personal attention you get is wonderful. Scheduled an appointment to look for mothers gowns and was told they had a large selection. When I arrived for my appointment they were busy helping a bride so I guess it didn't matter that I had an appointment with them. The selection was only a few gowns on a rack and the associate didn't even offer me a room to try any on. I realized this was not the store for me and left. Unfortunately, the associate wasn't even around when I walked out the door. Poor, poor service!!! read more

This boutique was exactly what we were looking for. My daughter wanted to only visit a couple stores and we started with here comes the dress and we didn't need to go anywhere else. The store is very cute and the staff really go above and beyond to give a great experience. While it's a smaller boutique, their selection is very good! The selection isn't significant but they are very wise about the dresses they provide. I tried an several dresses despite the limited (in comparison to larger stores) selection. The staff is very friendly and helpful. You also won't be competing with brides to stand in front of the big mirror. Each bride has her own. read more
