Hint: it's in the famous foods food court, particularly where there are many fortune cats on shelves. Ask the hostess outside for entry as it may have a wait, unless you go when they open. So once you're inside, it's a cozy vibe that feels like a more...back alley (maybe not red light district level) feel. Anyway, good vibes all around. The drinks aren't the cheapest ($20ish) but they're good! My favorite was the Monks In Paradise but that's also cause I love everything mango. Otherwise, a Suntory whiskey always does the trick for me. So all in all, it's a nice break from the chaos that is Vegas Strip. I go here a lot when I have friends or family in town on the North side of the strip. Drinks are great and average price for a classier Vegas bar, service and ambiance is great. I heard about this speakeasy at Resorts World a few months ago but didn't get a chance until recently to visit. At around 6:30 pm on a Saturday, we found the hostess in front of Fuhu Cha Chaan Teng restaurant (previously Ms Meow's Mamak) and see if they could accommodate our small party of 9. Luckily there was room! Once inside, we noticed how small and cozy the space was. There were a few patrons already and a couple occupied bar seats. There was enough "social distancing" space to feel comfortable and not crowded. The atmosphere was moody but not overly dark, Asian-themed, and a DJ playing music. Our friendly server introduced herself and set napkins and the QR code to get the menu. We browsed through the menu; the drink prices ranged from $13 to $23 (for the cocktails). There are some unique house cocktails, whiskey flights, beer, wine, and spirits by the pour. Some of us opted for the bartender's choice ($23). You choose the spirit base then answer a series of questions for the bartender to create your custom drink. There are also alcohol-free options, and they charge for water (Fiji), so be forewarned. My bartender's choice cocktail was bourbon-based, spicy, and not spirit forward. When I received the drink, it was a bright blue cocktail. I wish I knew what was in it because when I took a sip, it was nicely balanced, spicy, and not overly sweet. Every sip I took got spicier. It was great. My family also enjoyed what they ordered. This was the coolest speakeasy I've ever been to in Las Vegas. The entrance is really cool and once you go inside, it totally transforms into a nice intimate lounge/bar. They do not take reservations so be prepared to wait as the bar is quite small. Hidden bar with some secretive sips! Never been to a speakeasy before so this was quite the experience & it sure felt very exclusive. I went with some coworkers. One of them had already been there but stated the bar was so jam packed the time he went. Luckily when we went through the hidden door, it there was one spot open in the corner! We finally asked what was available to help make things easier. We really wanted The Pink Kitty or Awana Skyway, but they were out of gin. I guess another substitute mentioned that is similar is the cherry blossom if you wanted the Pink Kitty. They were out of matcha, so couldn't get the Mix & Matcha. Out of an ingredient that was within the Mon Cherry. One of the highlights of our recent Vegas trip was the new Asian-themed Resortworld casino and this cute speakeasy. I loved the decor and the hidden door/entrance as well as the cozy but not cramped interior. Unfortunately, a line did form just after the speakeasy opened because of all the hype. We were also originally told by the shopkeeper in the shop which conceals the entrance that the speakeasy opened at 4pm but when we returned at 4pm, she told us to come back at 4:30, then proceeded to start letting people in just after 4pm. Annoying, but not a deal breaker as we only have to wait in line a few minutes before being let in after we returned. Drinks - Mezcal Meow - delicious mezcal-based drink with all the smokey deliciousness of mezcal and none of the bite that sometimes come with agave-based drinks. Would definitely order again. Old Fashioned - as classic as they come. BF enjoyed this cocktail as much as I enjoyed mine. Bottom line - Show up when it opens and get in line if you want to get a seat quickly as the interior is very small. I am a fan of speakeasies and is super happy that Resorts World has one! We visited the day after their soft opening and got a seat at the bar right away. The speakeasy is smaller than your usual bar but extremely spacious. There is bar seating and some table/booth seating available. Apparently they had some supply chain issues and had some difficulty getting certain ingredients for some of their signature cocktails. So if they are out of certain ingredients, they can replace it with the next best thing. I decided to go with their Yuzu Lemon Drop, which had Grey Goose Le Citron, yuzu liqueur, syrup, and lemon. My husband decided to go for their Watermelon Sugar, which had Avion Blanco, cointreau, watermelon syrup, and lime. The Yuzu Lemon Drop was absolutely delicious. It tasted like an alcoholic yuzu lemonade -- super light and refreshing! The rims were covered in a gold lemon sugar and the dried lemon piece in the drink had a gold sparkle to it. It definitely made me feel glittery! I would definitely recommend this drink! The Watermelon Sugar was delicious too. You could taste more of the alcohol in this drink than the Yuzu Lemon Drop but it was still light and refreshing! Definitely recommend singing a certain song to go with this! I have been no stranger to the nightlife scene here in vegas, and I'm very disappointed in the service that we got from here. Not just on one, but TWO occasions. It's definitely does not live up to the Vegas hospitality, and wish my experiences could've been different. I've been to check out this bar for quite some time now. They advertise their hours as "4pm-LATE" online. 2 weeks ago, the hostess said she can put us on a waitlist for an hour wait (for a party of 2), so we walked around the hotel to kill time. Coming back to realize 1 hr later that we never got a text to come back, because the bar was already closed by then. This was at 11pm. This frustrated me because a "sorry, we're closing soon or a try again next time" could've gone a long way. And we should've been informed rather than putting us for an hour wait knowing that you'll close soon. Yesterday, my family and I were able to enter the bar, and the hostess gave us table seating. They were using a side entrance and not the instagramable blue wall that you see opening online. There's 1 drink per person minimum, and the server was not friendly whatsoever. We each ordered our beverages in addition to a bottled water. Only 2/4 drinks ordered were good. We noticed that all bar seating individuals were given water cups. When we asked our server if it would be possible to just have some house water she responded that, "only bar seating has free water, and that table seating has to pay for the $10 Fiji bottled water." Insane. This really caught me by surprise because even at the nightclubs they give you at least a pitcher of the tap water to share, and when you run out that's when they start to charge for the bottles. Plus, I've never been to a bar or club that will prioritize bar patrons compared to those who have a table. We never asked for a table, and it was a group of all ladies dressed up. I won't discredit that the bar itself is very cute. A far east Asian- theme, that is hidden by a decorative blue wall. The inside is quite small, but set up to maximize space and fit a decent amount of patrons. The menu is extensive, however the drinks that were recommended/labeled as popular were not that great. read more
