Well prices are typical airport. Unfortunately the other restaurant that was in this part of the airport is being renovated so service here has gotten worse. Many items were not available on the menu. The QR code system wasn't working or something. But we didn't know that. They have a full bar and typical bar food. Unfortunately your options are basically here or the local outside security. The service here is just very unpredictable. They do give a 15% military discount. read more

It is an airport bar so I expect the food to be a little pricey but it was extra. I got the chicken sandwhich and they forgot the ranch and it was so dry, didn't even come with cheese or anything. My boyfriend got a cheeseburger and they forgot the special ketchup that was also supposed to go with it. There was something in my water, no big deal but when I asked for another one it seemed like it was a bother. Service wasn't great. I think next time in the Norfolk airport I'll try a different place to eat. read more

The manager was sleeping in a tablet that can be used for customer. Manager did not help the bartender or the waitress. He did not get up to talk to the people around or anything, he was just falling asleep the whole time. read more

Ask for prices before ordering because the prices on the menu apparently aren't what you'll be charged. I sat at the bar and ordered a $17.99 (per the menu) Margarita. The drink wasn't bad, hence why this is a two star instead of a one star. I thought to order food, but there seemed to be a lot of confusion going on and people were frequently asking about the status of their food. So I decided against ordering. When I asked for the my ticket, I noticed the Margarita was $19.99 and there was an additional $2 charge for "soda" because I received the highball glass instead of the rock glass (which was $14.99). I almost didn't leave a tip because I felt like the tip was clearly included given what I had been charged, but since I worked in the service industry in the past, I did. This is a fairly new restaurant in the Norfolk airport. I wanted to try something new. Luckily, it wasn't too busy & I was greeted by the waitress and seated myself to a booth seat. The menu decent, I was in the mood for fish & ordered the grilled salmon Caesar salad. This was a tasty dish and I have no complaints about the food or service. When I fly out from Norfolk again, I'll definitely try some more food on the menu. read more

They don't serve food. It appears to be a restaurant/bar but many customers walked away due to No food being served.

Staff was extremely hospitable and very accommodating. Really a great spot to grab a solid bite and a cold beer. Craft beers and great food is always a plus! Get the cheese fries!!! read more

The Turkey Melt is a good sandwich to try here. It has the right amount of seasoning from the cheese and mustard and compliments a plate of fries well. The Fish and Chips plate was also good with 3 nice crispy pieces of cod. Definitely a spot to stop next time we are in the Norfolk International Airport. Went here for a quick drink before my flight. Not only was my service ignored for 10 minutes (after the bartender walked past me multiple times) but also was charged $21 for a glass of HOUSE wine! Never was offered a menu and never would have got that if I was aware of the price! Terrible hours for an airport bar as well and the bartender has quite an attitude in the worst way. 8-30-2021 at approximately 7pm EST the bar tender over charged us by ~$40. I then asked to see an itemized receipt and he got nervous, said he had to call a manager to correct the situation. He then produced two receipts, one which reflected the correct charges for our drinks and then a second one which reflected charges of someone else's bar tab. Both receipts had the last 4 digits of my credit card one them. the guy goes on to say that someone else at the bar coincidentally had a credit card with the same last 4-digits as mine. I don't think so. We get on our flight and the first thing I do is check my pending charges online and wouldn't you know it the bar tender did not remove the charges. I was excited to find a new restaurant in ORF but quickly changed my mind after a meal at Here's to the Heroes. I was surprised when the Brew House Chips (with Smoked Bacon and Blue Cheese) came out cold though a waitress heated them up when I asked. I don't believe my waitress visited me once to find out if I needed anything or how I liked the meal. The Chips were singularly unimpressive even after being heated up. Very much a waste of $12 (yes, $12). For my entree I ordered the Clam Chowder which did not have much flavor at all. One would expect great Chowder especially in this area! My nephew and I were returning to Tampa from Norfolk after attending a funeral, and had time to kill so we decided to try Here's to the Heroes since it catered to Veterans (me being one). We both ordered the Budweiser Brew House Burger and were very impressed by the tastiness of the burger! It was well prepared to order by the chef and came with 2 huge onion rings on the burger. Even with taking one of the onion rings off, the sandwich was still thick! I took one bite and was instantly hooked! It was one of the best burgers I've ever eaten. The waitress (I don't remember her name) was friendly and checked on us constantly. Even the lone onion ring I ate from the sandwich was one of the best onion rings I've ever had. The French fries were also good. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is due to the price, but it's to be expected inside an airport. It's a shame they are not a nationwide chain because they would have two customers for life! read more

Terrible service, sat there for a while and was on the way to grab my own menu when the waitress looked up from her phone and noticed we were there- she readily aknowledged and took accountability which led me to believe things would get better... they didn't - we ordered their signature BBQ sandwhich - and I literally laughed when it came out- for $12.49 we got what was equal to the buns you find in the local grocer - 8 pack that was "almost" regular size- actually it looked like the size of the McDonalds happy meal cheeseburger - and the bbq- I've had better out of the heat and serve containers at the grocery store. Also we were upcharged $4 for substituting the fries for tater tots -she never told us this - we saw it on the bill.... my second drink sat on the bar for 7 mins before she decided to deliver it to us- and that was after we pointed it out to her... we were never checked on- we had to wave her down when we needed something- bottom line- food was bad, drinks were mediocre at best, and service was terrible. read more
