We brought our 3 year old son to Legoland while visiting family in Dallas. Although this legoland…read moreis small, there are still a bunch of fun activities and rides to enjoy. It kept our little one busy for hours. We came in last Monday in the afternoon and it wasn't too crowded. We were a little bummed that one of the rides (the blaster one) was broken down. Our son did have a lot of fun on Merlin's apprentice and watched his first short movie at their 4D cinema. He especially loved building a car out of legos and raced his car on the track several times. He even enjoyed walking through miniland to see all cool the Lego creations. There is a small cafe located inside but we didn't get a chance to try it out since they were closing. There's also slides and a climbing area where our son was able to burn off a lot of energy. Prices are OK at the front but it's best if you can find a Groupon deal. Our son absolutely loved this place! We will definitely be back the next time we're in Dallas.

Honestly, i'm kind of surprised that this is not a four star place we were able to find a lot of…read morefun things to do here. The rides are definitely made for very small kids so probably seven or eight years old tops. However, the adults are able to ride the one that goes in the air, and also the one that goes in a circle where you're supposed to blast things. I will say though, out of the two cars that were running the car that we had, which I believe was number 5, half of the blaster guns did not work at all and didn't register our score. Restaurant so we only grabbed a drink from this restaurant. But the prices didn't seem too crazy.Honestly, it's there more for convenience you could go outside the mall and find a plenty of other options. Movie so we did do the four d movie.Which really was more of a three d one and it was enjoyable but I would say it seemed like it was a bit long, and didn't feel like the features necessarily were consistently working. I did enjoy, however, making the toy cars and racing my family so it was something that any age could enjoy. I am glad we went.It wasn't too crazy expensive. We were there for at least a couple hours.

The dinosaurs themselves were pretty neat. They moved and made noises. It would be interesting to…read morefind out how scientists have decided what the dinos sounded like. In any case, there were probably about 15 dinosaurs in total. Visitors follow a path at their own pace to view each dinosaur. Touching them is prohibited, but you can get pretty much as close as you want to observe and photograph. There is also a small dig area and a staff member walking around with a baby dino the kids can pet. Our first loop through prehistoric park took about 15 minutes. We splashed and swam a bit in the lake and then returned for another quick loop through the dinosaur trail before heading home. Overall, it's a pleasant activity and definitely a kid-pleaser. My children ages 1-9 all enjoyed it. The problem is the cost. $29 is just WAYYYY too high for what this is. Part of me thinks the city of Grapevine should just continue to charge the regular entrance fee into Meadowmere Park and use the dinosaur exhibit as a way to increase traffic into the park during the off-season. We for sure will not be returning to the park until the exhibit is over and the entrance fee returns to a more reasonable rate. If your kid loves dinosaurs and you've never been here, by all means, go, but I'd probably chalk this up to a once in a lifetime activity.

We had a blast! Upon entrance each kid receives a guide where they collect stamps around the park…read more There are 5 stations/stamps total. Our boys loved the trail and the dig site. There's an area with carnival type dinosaur games (ring toss, feed the Dino, etc.). Aside from the Dino attractions, the park itself is beautiful. Definitely worth the price of entry!

The birthday bear offer requires you to register with build-a-Bear and input the child's age. You then pay age of the child for the bear so a 5yr old coat $5 etc. The cost is for the stuffed bear only and it doesn't include clothing or the accessories. Children will receive a bear birth certificate, and it is an adorable interactive activity for young children. Recommend stopping in during your kiddos birthday month to create their own stuffy.

Before it goes into the bear. Then I was told to take it a "bath" LOLOL I love it. My bf said he had one once and the stuffer said she's had people come back for testifying to gift their build a bear to their kids! It wasn't a totally long wait, but I appreciate how each child was shown to feel special and if it was their birthday, they would sing! Some were shy, others had a smile! Now I want one of my own.
