Adding the lox bagel to my previous review - it was really good! The only thing I will add is that it gets very very busy during peak hours, and sometimes the food will take a longer time (this took approx. 30min) - I do love their coffee and matcha selection, so I'll continue coming back!

Updating my review as I've tried more of the menu!! I LOVE the vegan Crunchwrap for breakfast. So hearty and cozy, so I often crave it in the fall! The deli sandwiches and focaccia are also an impressive lunch for a coffee shop! Got jumped on by a dog again while carrying my food, though, so that's definitely still a thing if using the patio.

Cool place. Think we stopped in about ten years ago. Only a few bikes here, but the coffee was spot on. Don't miss the great mural on the side of the building. Cheers.

Such a cute neighborhood coffee spot + bike shop! I came in around 12:30 pm on a Sunday and both sides of the store were packed but luckily a girl let me share the table with her. I got their speciality biscoff latte with macadamia milk and a vegan crunch wrap (recommended by the cashier) and it came out to $22, which is a bit pricey in my opinion but the quality was incredible. The ice latte was smooth and the crunch wrap was piping hot, cooked to order and filled with flavor. They have free WiFi but can get super crowded on the weekends. Limited outlets but there's an outdoor area to sit at which is spacious. Service was incredible and fast- will definitely come back.

Talk about amazing vibes! And easily one of my favorite matchas (made with some honey and macadamia milk). It has a vibrant color so you know it's a great quality tea. Just so smooth so pleasant so wow! I also got a buckwheat chocolate chip cookie that has a wheaty forward taste and a grainy texture - and although that sounds off putting it's quite delicious and makes a for a fun different sweet treat! Heritage has indoor seating and more in the back but there are outlets in case you need a quick charge.

Cute and unique place to get work done while eating and drinking coffee! Coffee was blah! Focaccia was great.

Coffee shops that have good food are always a 10 for me! I got the breakfast burrito and a cappuccino to study on a Saturday morning and I loved both! Very fresh, big portions, and really good coffee. The ambiance is great. I came at 8:45 on a Saturday morning and was able to get a good seat to work at. It definitely filled up as the morning went on (very busy around 10:30/11). The baristas were super kind and I got the feeling they knew a lot of neighborhood regulars which was nice. Definitely a great place to stop in!

1/2 coffee shop, 1/2 bike shop, 2 storefronts. There's plenty of space here, unless it's a packed weekend morning. There's all different seating but is more conducive to "stay for awhile" rather then "stay all day working on your laptop". The menu is small but mighty. Elevated from fast food but still "fast" food heated up in a convection oven. But goooooood. The other side is bikes- tune ups, paint jobs, etc. The nice thing about Heritage is finding a part for your bike (drink holder! Ass saver!) that you kinda need but haven't bought yourself yet. Grab your coffee and your bike accessories! Some people have been crabby on Yelp that Heritage is "too crowded" - aren't we excited for a local business that is BUSY?!? Yes, yes we are:)

    Matcha Latte with Lavender
    Manisha P.

Definitely recommend checking out this spot for a coffee break or a good Matcha ! I usually get the Matcha, which is not too sweet. So, i add Lavender in it. I feel it's quite pricey- cost came to $8 with taxes. They have a bike store & also a repair section as well! Service was pretty quick as well! Ambience is welcoming and gets quite pack during the weekdays as people tend to work as well. Will definitely visit again!

I have to give a shout out to the village cycle center…read more I've been getting increasingly into cycling over the last couple years as it seems to be the only kind of fitness that doesn't absolutely wreck my body. And at the end of last season I decided it was time to upgrade the fx3 (which I also got from VCC during covid). Now for the last 8 months I've been browsing trek.com, specialized.com, reddit, facebook marketplace, etc., trying to get a sense of what I want. I'll say considering most bike manufacturers have a large range of bikes for each model, the marketing folks then don't do a particularly great job explaining the differences. Enter VCC. I stopped by because I wanted to know if I was 56 or 58cm, with a plan to go buy used in the approximate $2000 range. My man Tim spent maybe 2-3 hours with me walking me through the entire range of trek road bikes, teaching me the differences among the gearsets, alloys used in the frames, the brakes, etc. It really made me confident in terms of zeroing in on the bike that would fit my needs. And it just so happened they had a prior year model at a price that was close-ish to my original budget (lol). Walked home with a new Domane SL5, and now something like 6 weeks and 500+ miles later I'm a pretty happy camper.

I asked if they could use my current tube, which was not damaged, in the new tire. They said they had to use their own tube in the new tire which is very fair. The new tube even comes included in the labor cost of changing the tire. However, I wish they asked me if I wanted my old tube back before discarding it, as many bike shops do. I can excuse this if the tube was punctured, but it wasn't. I could have used that as a spare tube or something. Tubes are around $10 so not a huge deal but that would've been nice. I also wished they asked me if I preferred a certain tire pressure before inflating my tire to an arbitrary PSI. Sure, some people don't have a preferred pressure, but it doesn't hurt to ask. Especially if someone is purchasing a $100+ tire. Again, not a huge deal as I can just change it at home but would've been nice. Overall, still a good experience.

The owner recommended a basic assessment first since this was a bike I just got from a friend. With the assessment he filled my tires, checked for leaks, adjusted my pedal and handlebar tightness, and oiled my chain up. He also taught me how to shift gears and pointed out my bracks were switched (right hand controlled front). In the end he also lowered my seat for a better fit. The assessment was great at ensuring my bike was ride ready and not dangerous. He also recommended what would be good follow up and pricing if I wanted a more thorough tuning for problem areas that he showed me during the assessment but wasn't pushy about it. I was back home with my bike before in under 30mins. Great price transparency. Owner had great knowledge of bikes and brands. Also has free automatic tire pump and recommended I drop by every 1-2wks to keep my tires plump. I'm excited to get back to riding with this new bike!

The workers were what you'd expect as far as being nice - but the mechanics are amateur at best. After my first disappointment with their routine "maintenance service", I wanted to give them another shot with my brakes. After all, I yearn to have a good relationship with a local bike shop. And sadly, it's a bigger disappointment than my first visit. I asked for them to bleed both brakes. I received a call saying they're "fine" and suggested NOT bleeding brakes; but the pads and rotors were caked in oil and other residue (I cleaned them both 3 days ago). But I figured you gotta trust the pros, right? Wrong. I figured they'd replace the pads, clean the rotors and call it a day. After all, I hadn't sanded the pads this past time and they are getting old (10 months). Nope, just VERY poorly sanded the existing brake pads, cleaned the rotor below my normal standard and was charged nearly $50. For that. To sand 4 little brake pads and (presumably) apply some rubbing alcohol to the rotors. $50. Look at the picture of the brake pads after they serviced them. Lmao. I could have done that for $2 at home since all I need is a little more rough sand paper. Ha. And no, it didn't help my brakes at all. They produced very little friction, we're extremely loud and there was even a clicking noise from my drivetrain on my ride home I haven't even diagnosed yet. I just had to write this review. Ha. Should have just told them to screw off and bleed the damn brakes. To me, it's simple. This is a classic big city bike shop that is money hungry. $50 for that is LAUGHABLE. I could take this to my hometown bike shop and for that money they'd do a bleed, drivetrain clean, fork pressurization, frame clean, etc. And after all that, I still need my brakes bled. They didn't do it. Ha. EDIT: Attached is the video of my new wheel sound! I think it's just the dork disk, but still.
