We were in close contact with one of the owners, Candi, as she would give us updates and answered any of our questions along the way. He was also flexible in additional requests we had along the way (like asking for a final glossy coat to finish the wood floors). I was originally going to replace carpet with LVP but found wood floors under the carpet! We chose to have the wood floors refinished and stained and they turned out fantastic! It looks like a completely new space. The job was scheduled within a few days and was completed on schedule. Included (for a fee) in the quote was assistance putting furniture back in the room which was helpful. I'd contact Antoine again for future flooring needs.

Let's start with the good - he did get most of the stains out and did a great job tightening up our carpet. He was also on time and easy to communicate with. The not-so-good: the main thing that irked me was that he put our furniture on top of our other furniture. This includes an air purifier that was on the dirty floor of our bedroom which was moved to be on top of our clean bed. He also put our tables on top of our couches. Not the cleanest method to clean. When I've hired Stanley Steamer before they come with 2 guys who move all the heavy furniture around and place everything on these pad-looking things. They never put things on top of things. They also ask you to move the smaller things out of the way. Also, he also wasn't able to get out of a couple of minor stains. I'd say he was about as expensive as Stanley Steamer, but not as effective. All and all, he was a nice guy but his methodology is questionable.

They've also always cleaned up all the product packing etc. Tip: If you look online & there is a certain appliance model you're interested in, you can call Britt's for a quote. Most of the time they can order it for you. Just note the product number so you can be precise. Home Depot & Lowe's generally sell the "installation kit" of appliances separately do their price will appear lower, but Britt's includes all that the last time I checked. So if you're comparing prices, be sure you are checking the final cost with everything.

We are now selling our house and moving once again, we will not use Britts after out last experience. Britts installed hardwood throughout the main floor, approx. 11K 7 years ago, they caused a lot of damage to walls and even the front of our stainless-steel fridge when they tilted it to move it. Getting a response from anyone was a challenge, they kept referring me back to the Britt family member who handled our remodel, we never got it resolved. The new KitchenAid cooktop they delivered had a very clouded appearance to it. This time they just casually told us to contact KitchenAid, not them to have a new one ordered and then call them to reinstall. Really? No responsibility on their part to make the calls, order a new one, make arrangements to get it resolved? We had no shouting matches or arguments with them just have quietly taken our business elsewhere and will again as we remodel our new home and prepare this one for sale. I know our business is probably a drop in the bucket for Britt's - they very much made us feel that way - although we saved for quite a while to do all of our remodels, but supporting small, local businesses has to work both ways. They also have to care about the big and small customers (in total we have spent about 75K with them) and appreciate the loyalty that repeat business represents.
