I called and inquired about the for rent sign. The manager was really nice and helpful with the information.

The selling point for me while I was apartment hunting was that the manager, Christina, was the most accessible and prompt at returning calls and answering questions, and this has not changed about her after signing the lease. She is incredibly attentive to our needs and works very hard to ensure we are happy where we live. The complex as a whole always looks great and clean. Anytime I've needed anything from her, she's on top of it right away. She's made living here very stress free and home-y! Aside from that, the complex itself is nice and feels very safe. Lots of security cameras around the complex (also a selling point for me living alone), locked gates, an assigned parking spot, and a nice clean pool which has been great during the summer heat. The units are upgraded and feel new. I love that it's across the street from a golf course as it makes for a better view and less crowded on the street for parking as opposed to having another apartment complex or residence there. Overall, I've really enjoyed my time here! In large part thanks to Christina. She's a true professional and dedicated to making this complex feel like home. Thank you for all you do!

I would call and call and he wouldn't answer. He used to promise me that workers would come to the apartment to fix my bathrooms and reglaze them and for weeks no one showed up. I would call him to find out but he ignored me. I am relieved that he is gone now because I believe things will be better now. I always go to Adriana for my problems regarding the apartment even before. So, I am glad that she is handling the apartment now. I also don't like the smell of the water in the laundry room. It smells bad. Also the machines eat my money and I don't get them back. But I am thankful that this apartment is so close to my sons' school. I feel at ease because I am close to them when emergency happens. I also like that the apartment is close to the shopping mall and new stores in Downey. Everything is accessible. I also appreciate the online work order procedure. Now my concerns get acted on in a timely manner.

It's honestly refreshing to have maintenance actually answer emergency calls! Management is also very prompt and respectful of residents' privacy, even around shared spaces like the grill areas, pool and gym. The pool is always nice and clean, and the neighborhood itself is quiet and calm. Unfortunately, we are near an area where there's occasionally a lot of loitering and suspicious activity, so I definitely recommend not leaving personal belongings in your car or outside. My kids' bike was recently stolen because I left it out overnight. There is security walking around 24/7, but being in LA, thieves move fast.. so just stay vigilant like you would anywhere else in the city. Aside from that, my kids, my Betsy , and I are truly loving it here!

I think things have definitely improved since…read moreI first started living here & I'll list the pros and cons below: Pros: - Pet friendly - Cheaper rent for a 2bedroom compared to others in the area - Spacious units - 1 parking spot in the garage & street parking (yes, sometimes the nearby streets get filled out, but I've never had an issue parking further away & walking) - Friendly staff members - Fast & friendly maintenance crew (seriously, they're so responsive to maintenance requests) and even the gardening crew here are so friendly!! - Pool & (small) gym - Leasing office does fun events sometimes for holidays - Security guard -They give you a Ring camera (you need to pay for membership) Cons: - Only one window AC unit (newer units seem to have 2, so I'm sure this won't be a problem moving forward), so we had to buy a couple of portable AC's to be cool in the summer - Doesn't come with fridge (but this is normal in the LA area) - Bathroom is reaaaally small (think airport small lol), but that's prob how they get more space in the apartment overall - Not a lot of laundry machines/rooms and a lot of times there'll be machines broken - They added a door to the front of the buildings that locks and it's a hassle for package deliveries because the drivers don't know to go around the back and sometimes packages will just be left out front and get stolen if not retrieved in a timely manner When I first started living here, there was a big problem with homeless people hanging around and even coming to our door. But ever since they hired security, it hasn't been a problem for the last two years. They even added locks to the dumpsters to prevent dumpster diving and from having people stay in there overnight. Overall, not a shabby place to live, especially as a first apartment!

I would think twice before renting here…read more Recently we discovered that we had been charged $15/month for "forced renters insurance" for the past 7 months ($105 total), even though we already had an active renters insurance policy the entire time. Our policy never lapsed. Management explained that because we didn't re-submit proof of insurance when we renewed our lease through their compliance portal, their system automatically enrolled us in a third-party liability program and added the monthly charge. While that may technically follow their lease wording, we never received any notice or warning that there was an issue with our insurance or that we were being auto-enrolled and charged each month. When we contacted the office and showed that our policy had been valid the entire time, they still refused to credit the charges and instead said it was handled by the third-party company they use. Another frustrating issue is that tenants are also required to pay about $7.50 per month for Luxer One package lockers. In practice, delivery drivers rarely use the lockers and most packages are still left at our door, so residents are forced to pay for a service that often isn't actually used. The amount here was only $105, but it's the principle. Being charged for something without any notice while already maintaining the required insurance was disappointing, and the refusal to work with us on it left a bad impression. If you're considering renting here, make sure you read every fee carefully and monitor your account closely because additional charges can be added if paperwork isn't resubmitted exactly the way their system requires.

There is a swimming pool, workout room, on site laundry facility, grill area and it just feels very luxurious. Oh and it's super clean! There is also security at night which makes the place feel safe and secure. Security is very important to me since I am being stalked. I love how accessible the management is here as my last apartment experience was less than desirable. My husband and I have enjoyed our time here. The rules are given for a reason and I love that everything is written out so you know what you can and cannot do. And they do enforce it, which I like. It's very quiet and the people are respectful and polite. Even a few residents asked how it was for us moving in which was very nice! I feel like it's like a little community of its own and I love that feeling. I do make my own videos and pictures for my online accounts and it's a very nice place to make self tapes and music covers since it's so quiet. I love that I can do that now and not feel rushed. In my previous apartment, I always had to rush to get through a self tape because I was anxious that it would get noisy and I don't like background noise in my videos. It has been so peaceful here so I look forward to being able to do those again. I also love how close we are to so many different stores, restaurants, gas stations, two malls and most of my doctors are right nearby. It's so convenient to me. I feel like I am spoiled and it's a really good feeling, truly! It is pretty much a lot of it is actually within walking distance to so many places we go to. Karen has been so helpful throughout the entire process and I'm so thankful for all she did for us! She really helped us step by step to get into a beautiful apartment home that feels quaint and homelike. If you're looking for a place that truly goes a step beyond, then give them a try! Now that we're moving out, it seems like the best time to tell of our overall experience here. The maintenance team is efficient and kind as well as the mail lady but other than that and a couple nice leasing agents in the beginning, the office has been most unhelpful and unkind. Especially a person named Detrich, who briefly worked there when they were taking away everyone's parking spaces for construction on new studio units that still have seen no progress in the past year, and tried to mansplain to me that ownership can do whatever they want since they gave us notice and was immediately defensive when I asked about the notice since different residents received different information. He admitted to me they just found out it was happening too so obviously couldn't waste any time editing the notice and he also said they were auditing all spaces thoroughly now because some residents had 5! But now, many people can't park even one car and boy do they send emails almost daily about not parking in the leasing center or in the tuck under spaces. They won't take any initiative in tackling the wild feral cat community except tell residents not to feed them when they should be investing in trap and neuter to reduce urine odor, fighting, and breeding. We've had plumbing issues such as leaks and floods, laundry room machines usually down plus they removed the sink instead of locking the doors, major pest issues when moving from 3rd to 1st floor, and even trespassers going in the pool and stealing water from outdoor faucets. Many residents let their dogs poop and pee anywhere even though thats one thing the property provides for us is potty stations but I think they should add cameras for accountability or at least continue to get rid of those unnecessary rocks in the dog runs. Which leads me to now that we're moving out, they want to charge us over $700 because they claim our entire apartment smelled of dog urine. An absurd accusation because there is no way it did, my mother as our witness since she locked up with us, and the last thing I did was mop! They want to charge us for cleaning and replacement when we had normal wear and tear, no staining on the vinyl flooring, but it wasn't squeaky clean for the new residents. Which isn't our job to keep our deposit but to not cause extensive damage. You want to charge us to replace and clean but how can you clean something being entirely replaced? Also, any additional charge for urine odor is so deceptive regardless of everything stated previously, because we had a pre move out inspection and nothing was said at that point. My dog did not potty in our apartment especially not freely on our carpet. Could it be the poor water quality odor I was told there was nothing we can do when I complained in the past? The dog and cat urine odor constantly being sucked in any opening from the AC unit in my car to this apartment? But really the water and pipes had some odor that lingered. Paint/wall damage, sure. Made up urine odor accusation? It's insulting. Unbelievable how greedy management and property owners can be. I know residents have left units in far worse or better and still they will find a way. In conclusion, unless you know what you're paying for because of location and cost, try to avoid this place. I wonder why so many residents are moving out and there are many units available
