I recently purchased a SUV from this company last week. prior to purchasing it I spoke to the sales woman Toni. She stated the truck was in perfect condition and nothing was wrong with the truck. I explained to Toni I live out of state and will not be able to travel up there to view the truck but if it's in perfect condition like she stated, I would like to purchase it. The sale price was $30,000 for the truck but we negotiated to $29,700. We finalized the deal and I had this truck shipped out to me at my expense. When the transport unit arrived with my truck we couldn't get it off the trailer because the key fob wasn't working. I had the key fob replaced by the dealership which was close to $200. When I started the vehicle up I noticed the GPS shows me sitting in the middle of the Atlantic ocean, OnStar not working, and driver assist service light on. I asked the dealership what was going on with the truck. They stated it needed a part and it would cost over $400 to be replaced. I then advised Toni of the situation and she stated" It's a used truck" ,it's going to be things here and there". I understand its used but not like a $1200 used car, This is a $30k truck and these problems that's going on with the truck is the first thing you noticed when u get in the truck,so you can't honestly tell me you didn't know about this. She admitted to knowing about the issues before selling the truck and not telling me about them . She then went on to tell me it's was nothing she can do to fix this issue (in which I was pretty mad because she lied just to make a sale.) She stated I can transfer you to our shop and see if they can help. The mechanic (Mike) stated the part I need they have it in stock and he is willing to sell it to me. Now I'm very pissed. Not only you had the part in which you could have replaced when the truck was on the lot, you have the audacity to try to sell me the part instead of fixing your wrongs that they already knew about. He said " He buddy, "I'm just doing what Toni told me to do". So I called the company several times requesting to speak to the owner, leaving message after message. No one returned my calls. I then talked to a guy named Chase today who made matters worse. He was already informed on my problems and messages I was leaving for the owner. He then said you can speak to the owner. I asked why he said " Well you don't go in Walmart asking to speak to the owner. He stated we are not about to lose commission to get your truck fixed.. Wow!! Now this is how a Salesman talk to a customer. He stated we did you a favor if you ordered the truck from us and not from somebody closer to you. He still refused to give me the owner contact information so I can inform him of this situation. And was very disrespectful on the phone (on a recorded line) so I hope the owner listen to that recording..10-6-20 20@10:42am.. Now Toni was very respectful and professional but she lied . She knew about the problems and didn't disclose them with me prior to selling.. Chase was very disrespectful and unprofessional. How do you have someone like that represent your company? Just to think my brother was about to order a truck from to you guys until I told him how this company really handle there customers. Be very cautious when dealing with this company. They tell you anything for a sell knowing the vehicle needs work then tell you " Well the vehicle is used," It's nothing we can do".I will not recommend this company to anybody with common sense..

She's the best! I'd definitely recommend her to family and friends!

They could start by not selling fucked up cars and hiring shady people. My friend got a car from there and it broke down the next day.

Rodney was nice enough to drive us over so I could get the cashiers check for the total amount of the sale.

The only negative thing that I have to say about the experience is that I had asked when we sat down for the loan what percentage the rates started at. We were told they started at 5.25%. My sister has good credit so I wasn't expecting her payment to fall in a much higher percentage bucket. We were good with the price of the vehicle, and the warranty that she added on. However, and this is a big however, until we were signing the documents, did we see for the first time that the loan she was being given was at over 14% APR. This is absolutely ridiculous and unheard of for somebody who has good credit. We wasted no time going over to Navy Federal and securing her a proper loan at a reasonable rate. The amount that Carmax was trying to charge her in interest was more than half of what the vehicle cost with the add-ons. Let that sink in. Do not sign blindly and make sure you understand what you would be paying in interest. I highly recommend getting pre-approved elsewhere for a loan first and not using their financing. You have three days to get a loan elsewhere and have it changed over, but I would suggest making sure you're eligible before you go car broke. We didn't see any of that until half way through signing the contract. Kind of crazy!

CARMAX does not do repairs on Tesla's, they will send you to the Tesla dealership on military highway. Once there, Tesla does not accept third-party warranties you will have to pay for all repairs out-of-pocket with a hope of reimbursement from Max Care. If they approve the reimbursement, it will take 3 to 4 weeks. It's been a cluster bomb. I hope to save someone a ton of trouble and Time.

They charged me $30 to look at t and provided an a free vehicle look over on other things. They let me know that it was indeed leaking and found an additional leak. They sent me a quote and I was flabbergasted at the price. The first original leak repair was quoted for $2,700. They did find another leak that would cost me an additional $1500 to repair . Way more than I was planning. I talked to a gearhead at my work and he said absolutely do not pay that. He said they do this to women, unfortunately. I talked to two other local shops who quoted me for everything on the original repair for $800 and $1100. Those quotes were for everything 17th Street was going to do for $2,700. I hate that companies do this. The icing on the cake was that when I drove my car home, I popped the hood and they didn't even attach the cover to the motor. It was just laying cockeyed on the top. It makes me question what else they didn't reinstall after looking over my car.

Completely unacceptable, frustrating experience…read more I paid $1,338 for front brakes and calipers, and within six months I was still having braking issues. When I returned, they replaced only one front rotor under warranty. After a third visit for the same braking noise/vibration, I was told the problem was my rear brakes, even though those had been replaced only three months earlier at another shop. I then went to three independent shops, and all confirmed the real issue was a warped front rotor (the one not replaced the second time I brought it in). This should've been fixed the second or third time I brought it in. Instead they shifted blame to another shop, in which their work was confirmed to be fine. And for the price I paid, I shouldn't have had to bring it in multiple times for the same issue. Still after three visits and over $1,300 spent, my issue was still not properly fixed. The only good thing about this experience was that it was under warranty, and another shop was able to fix my brakes properly. I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before trusting this shop, and if possible save your time and go elsewhere.

The owner,…read moreJohn Gabriel, worked with me when I explained I had a horrible experience with a previous dealership where I drove 3 hours away and I made an appointment and they sold the car to someone else while I was test driving it, and he promised to work with me to make sure I don't have a similar experience and he really did make it happen. I drove 3 and a half hours to get there and immediately I could tell my happiness truly was their priority and they care about their customers. The other two associates were also incredibly friendly and helpful when walking me through the actual buying process. They made sure I was all set before making my drive home by making sure I had a full sized spare tire, when I brought up my concern that there was no front license plate mount they instantly took action to make sure it was fixed for me, and a full tank of gas! I went home with an amazing car and an even better experience. Thank you so much!

For me, every time I have come here has been an amazing, gracious experience. I was sold my car by the dapper C.J. Morris, who is a man that keeps things real. Each time I came in afterward he recognizes me and shakes my hand. Drivers World has a good policy of "price as marked" with no haggling, since their prices are already low. I don't know about that across the board, but my 2010 Hyundai Accent was a great deal. I have had two issue happen with my car since its purchase. The first was when my spare key came in from the Hyundai Mother Ship. We tried it out and it got stuck in the ignition! Samantha, in their service dept., immediately got me a rental and called a locksmith to look at it the next day. My car was fixed up that next day too, the locksmith had to re-cut part of the key. My second issue was when my car suddenly didn't start one day after work. I took a panicked trip in the tow truck to Drivers World where they got me a loaner car that night. They called me in the morning and told me it was the starter. I returned my loaner and they got me a rental; a few days later I picked up my car from Checkered Flag Hyundai. So far, everything has been covered and I always get treated nice there. I had a great buying experience and their awesome service has continued. Hopefully all my visits will be this good.
