I give this Hermes location 5 stars is because of Adam. He represents Hermes very well in that he exudes professionalism and class. He is knowledgeable about the products. I feel that he is a very genuine person who gives advice by based on my needs and not purely just to sell a product. He is not pretentious. He's very approachable, down to earth, genuine, straight forward, and best of all he has a sense of humor. :) I hope Hermes is treating him well so he never leaves because he is a valuable asset to their team. In terms of customer service, Adam is the best! :D This Hermes location is quite small so it gives off an intimate feel. I prefer this over a high traffic store since I feel rushed in crowded places. The downside to this is that they don't have a wide selection of items. What I can't find in the store, I order online and have it shipped there. read more

I came here during the summer looking to buy a bracelet for myself. Very nice staff (except for this one blonde guy that gave me a snooty look and told another sales associate, Patty, to help me.) Patty was a delight and showed me a Collier de Chien that I didn't buy because of the color, but i wended up buying a black Rivale Double Tour with gold hardware and even a a twilly for my mom and a cologne. My wife bought a gift for me but unfortunately I didn't like it and we thought, no problem, it's from a high end shop, we will be able to return it and get the refund BUT, this store DOES NOT refund but give you store credit....WE DO NOT LIKE anything from the store but now I am obligated it to get something from there or we loose +$600. I called the store and spoke w Valentina who told me they had the item in stock . A large size Click H bracelet. I told her I am 1 hour away and will be there shortly . I arrived another employee helped me who stated they didn't have it , she went to check w Valentina , at which time she said she never checked if the item was in stock. I was a bit put off. I asked the sales rep , if I could buy a large white bracelet and after Christmas we could exchange it . She said yes. I also went to look for another item that was. Black with stainless , that item was out as well. I told the sales rep, jokingly your killing me today. She then replied that I was killing myself , and went into a rant about something to which I then told her she can keep the items and I waked out. The first time I visited this particular location was in April 2011. I got a job offer in Houston and I flew in from the Northeast and was apartment hunting at the time. I went with my best friend and I was helped by Kari Smith. Very nice lady who helped us and with no airs and didn't pressure us, and we ended up buying a Kelly and she helped us hold it at the store until I would be back in Houston again 2 weeks later when my job started (because the box was too huge to fit in carry-on and I didn't want to check in; and I would move to Houston permanently two weeks later.) Since then, I have been to the Hermes store maybe 4-5 times and I've always been treated very well by all the staff. And recently, John Johnson helped me pick out a nice H bracelet and he's helpful too. But beware of this guy Franklin. He's a 50-something with too much cake on his face and isn't helpful altogether. The first time I experienced his "service" was about 2 months ago when I wanted to buy an H belt with a size 90 strap. He kept saying there was none and kept pushing for me to get the Constance H (the larger one that can be used for jeans) and with an alligator strap. After I wouldn't budge, he miraculously happened to find a size 90. He also kept cutting me off when I was trying to translate for my friend who doesn't speak English very well. I know from then on I wouldn't want to deal with him. Recently, I bought an H-bracelet (there wasn't any in this location, so John did a charge-send from the Dallas store) and wanted to change the address they ship to, because Hermes uses FedEx and they require a signature from you and wouldn't leave it with the leasing office (which is understandable, of course). So I called the same day and asked to speak with John to change the shipping address to my office, but unfortunately, John was with another client, so I asked Franklin if I could change the address on the order, and he told me that it had already been shipped out. Not believing him, I called the next day and managed to get John on the phone. He checked the system and he said that since it wasn't sent out yet (Yes, Franklin LIED to me and was too lazy to even check if the Dallas store had sent it out or not), he would leave instructions for them to send it to my work place. I would give this place 5 stars, I really would. If it weren't for Franklin, that is. I always get so confused when I walk into these [high-end] stores, because I believe that as a sales assistant, your job is to assist and provide your customers (whether they end up buying or not) with the best service possible. At these stores, snooty sales person are unfortunately more common that we would like. I am someone who always approaches people with politeness and respect, and I never pull the "customer-is-always-right" move because I know we all have to work to survive. But when someone tries to get slick with me, that's when I speak up. If you want to be treated with respect, not be rushed, and not be pressured, stay away from Franklin. I seriously think he should spend more time back in finishing school and learning what customer service really means, and leave the guess-work and judging and sizing-up of clients for another place and time. read more

This was my first experience at this location (I had been to the old one a few times). I must say this was by FAR my best experience yet. My sister in law and I walked in and were immediately greeted by the friendly face of Jamese. She made the experience comfortable, easy and didn't make us feel rushed at all. Going to the store was everything we thought it would be. Very friendly and accommodating sales staff. Went in just for a clic H bracelet and was shown every color option available and the associate smiled and waited patiently as I chose even adding input at times. While waiting for my item to be boxed there was a Birkin just sitting on the back counter. This apparently is like an Elvis sighting and is my understanding it's unlikely to ever see one unless you are specifically looking to buy one and even then it's a slim chance based on availability. The associate was nice enough to give us the specs on it and even put gloves on to pick it up so we could get a closer view, naturally we did not touch it. The level of craftsmanship is right up there. Will definitely return in the future. Some negative reviews were off putting but was my experience that if you go in and know exactly what your looking for and are educated on the items you will be fine and naturally you need to look like you belong there and can actually afford to buy the items otherwise why would you expect the S.A to waste their commissioned time read more

The store was completely empty . I enter and this gracious girl greets me hundred times , telling me hundred times what I was looking for and if I need it any help . I go to the second floor in the home collection department and I ask the clerk if they had their famous printed beach towels . He told me they had them in the back and he couldn't bring them out . I had to tell him what color and design I need it and he could show me that ! EXCUSE ME ? what kind of service is that ? From one of the top French Luxury House in the world ???? I'm horrified ! Maybe it's just the holidays but my experience there was terrible. The one good thing about the visit was that there were a couple of parking places out front. I walked in - no acknowledgement, let alone a greeting. There were a few customers. Very little stock. There were two or three clerks who were helping customers. None of them ever looked my way. I was looking for a particular item for a gift. I knew how much it cost and I was prepared. However, they just didn't have much to look at other than scarves and ash trays. If I had found what I was looking for, I doubt I could have gotten any assistance. My advice is to go to www.Hermes.com and just order the items you want. That store is a joke. I was really disappointed with the service I got here. I needed to make an exchange for an item I bought online and the sales associate acted totally frantic and was not knowledgeable about the products. Plus there is a total conundrum over the online store and physical stores which makes exchanges extremely difficult. The store was beginning to get busy and while the woman was helping me, another customer came up and needed to make an exchange as well. The sales woman actually asked ME to go see if there was someone around the corner that could help this other customer. Umm, what? In the end, she explained in an extremely convoluted way that she couldn't help me and I would have to make the exchange via the online store. She gave me a blank stare as she shoved the box back at me and as I turned away she mumbled "Sorry for the inconvenience". Yes, the store was getting busy, but this was totally unacceptable. Hermes is the creme de la creme and I've received better help at Old Navy. In stark contrast, when I contacted the online store they were extremely helpful, to my pleasant surprise! I was very nervous about shipping the item back and making a smooth exchange, and they walked me through it and made it seem like it was no problem at all. When they received the item, they called to confirm and told me they would be shipping my new purchase that day. I received it today and am very happy. Overall, extraordinarily disappointed in the Houston store, but overwhelming surprised and happy about the service I received via the online store. read more
