We have 6 steps that were laid unevenly so they are broken and cracked. It happened almost immediately so yes, they did come out and replace the broken steps initially. A few months later, it happened again. And again. They came out, I believe twice, to replace until, "oops" your warranty is no longer valid. So now, we just have these effed up cracked steps. The rest of the house is great. Just use caution because I don't think the installers they used know how to account for any irregularities. For reference- my husband is 5'11 and 190lb and my son is 6'2 and 185lbs. I am 5'7 and 145lbs. We are not overweight or extremely heavy people. We also do not have pets.

THE DEETS: After researching a couple of local carpet places, I am so grateful that I found Elite. We were in the tumultuous process of trying to get new carpet installed within a very tight timeframe. Every place I checked did not have the carpet that I was looking for in stock and it would NOT arrive in time --but Alex at Elite assured me that he had what I wanted in stock or he could order/get it in time, if needed. I had originally planned on buying my carpeting from the Home Depot because they offered free installation, but after going to Romero's I decided to buy from them. I found the same carpet and padding that I was planning on buying from Home Depot. For $1000 less than I would have paid Home Depot to re-carpet 2 rooms, I was able to re-carpet 3 rooms. At the very least I would recommend stopping by and seeing what Romero's has to offer, you might be pleasantly surprised.
