My husband works at the Mavis Discount Tire shop in New Milford, and the day we got married we arrived home very late because of our wedding celebration. Unfortunately, he had to leave me alone the next morning because he was told he had to open the store. I understand work responsibilities are important, but this was the first day of our marriage, which should have been our honeymoon time together. I believe there were other employees who could have opened the store or switched shifts. It was a very important and special moment in our lives, and it was very painful for me as a new wife to spend that moment alone.
