I'm not sure what everyone's problem is with this place. I've been 5-6 times now and gotten a thoroughly great wash & wax along with hand-dried exterior and fully cleaned/sparkling interior/vacuuming. Never had a minutes worth of problems, the guys are always super friendly and willing to help. I'm not sure if ya'll come in with either super NASTY vehicles and expect miracles or have too high of expectations for a $30 wash, but let's be realistic: You could to to any number of automatic wash locations locally and spend between $15-20 for a single BAD wash to then have to get out and hand dry yourself and vacuum your own interior OR for $10 more, you can come to Hermitage Auto Wash and they do everything for you, the cleaning products are better, the tires are shiny-er and your interior dash, doors, and jambs get all sparkly and new looking. Seriously, if ya'll have this much to say about a $30 wash, ya'll need to explore what a $150-200 full detail entails. Obviously the price is far higher for an actual detailing, but the difference you get won't be that much more unless you are a true SLOB in your vehicle. Just keep your car relatively clean, throw out your trash from inside your vehicle and don't eat in your car. Then you can save hundreds by not needing a full ACTUAL detail and you can go here and they'll give you a QUALITY cleaning for about $30. Thanks, Hermitage Auto Wash! We'll be back again and again!

As an update to my earlier post, my check engine light came on THE DAY AFTER I picked up my truck…read moreand paid the additional $$$$. When I called to schedule an appointment to have the truck serviced under the warranty they provided as part of their "service", I was transferred from Trish to the "owner" of the garage , who proceeded to yell and curse me (and yea, I yelled and cursed back), but he REFUSED to honor the warranty and told me to "go fck myself and find someone else to fix your piece of sh#t": Based on what other customers say about this place, it's a decent shop as long as they don't really have to work to fix a problem that a backyard mechanic could handle. I will again state that they do not do business above board and will look to wring the most amount of money out of their customers for the least amount of work. I have better things to do with my time, but I will be filing suit against them for failing to honor their warranty just because I hurt their feelings with a negative business review. Sad business practice

ISSUE: Our 2012 glow plug AND engine light was lit. Shop diagnosed recommended repairs - we agreed upon the repairs and expected to get our vehicle back drivable. We picked up the vehicle- 15 minutes later the engine light coded AGAIN and we spent allot of money only to return the vehicle for diagnosis. Owner recommended we attempt VW and second diagnosis was diesel particulate- how can this be? We spent allot of time and money to get the vehicle in drivable (ie no check engine light) condition- owner suggested another new equally expensive repair - Had enough run around and brought car to the professionals who was our trusted repair team and got a repair list a mile long that European never shared or reported to us. We should never have had the glow plug repair done and we should have driven vehicle straight to a junkyard A professional will admit his errors and apologize but based on the reviews we know he will become defensive, immature, and confrontational about a review that isn't positive Beware bringing your vehicle here - it's sad when people air their opinion in public and the owner, rather than take ownership, responds like a child

I am writing this review about my Local Advanced Auto Parts in Ashland City Tennessee. The staff is…read moregreat there and goes above and beyond for the customer needs. It can be very frustrating to have a broken vehicle, but they somehow always help to make it less stressful just by a friendly smile, and professionalism that is second to none. However, the greatest reason I "only" buy and will continue to "only" buy my parts at this specific store is their involvement and support of the community. It is normal to see the girl scouts selling cookies in the parking lot/side walk or fundraising car washes for "ALL" the schools in the area for band, wrestling, football etc... and that is why I only spend my money at this Advanced because if they are gracious and committed enough too invest in the kids and community then by all means I am grateful and committed enough to support them. Not only other Auto parts stores could learn from their actions but other businesses could as well. If you are a higher end corporate representative and you are reading this review then I encourage you to reach out to "ALL" the workers at this store location as they are excellent representatives of this company and deserve some praise and the same friendly smile, kind words and support they give this community and their customers day in and day out!! Best regards, JW

He just genuinely wanted to help. For context, another store not only tried to tell me that just changing the battery would mean I'd need to "reprogram" the whole key fob (which is completely false), they also said I'd basically be taking a gamble if I bought the battery from them. This guy quickly swapped the battery for me and (surprise) it worked perfectly without needing to "reprogram" anything, no gamble required. 10/10 service. I really appreciate people who actually care about customers.

I'll just go pull it out and bring it back to get the core and buy a new one. Immediately the manager in back yelled no way. He stated "If you need tools you'll have to buy them our tools don't leave the premises." I asked if I could leave my drivers license because it would only take a few minutes. He said no. I felt like he made a bad judgement call under the circumstances So I went elsewhere and spent $200.00 on a new battery and a couple of tools. This is the closest auto parts store to me. I have lived here for 35 years and I won't be going back again. I'm a disabled senior citizen and veteran. I truly wish that customers got treated like they did when I was young.
