Called Thursday night just before closing and got in first thing Friday morning! My 8 year old daughter had lice and Sam was the one who serviced her. My daughter said the treatment was 'super relaxing' and felt like a head massage. Thank goodness for these people. This was the first time we had an incident with these creatures and it was not pretty. Our 2 year brought it home from daycare and we managed to bring her in to just the right place. Our treatment ended up having to be extended to my wife and we were so relieved to be able to have it all taken care of in one visit. Each person was $160 and you get to come back in if you have any issues within the next 30 days. They were really professional, friendly, and got the job done in such a way that we felt very confident when we were leaving the place. I never imagined myself having to deal with lice...ever. But it happened to us. And it was TRAUMATIZING. At first we tried the DYI stuff at CVS. I thought it was okay...and it wasn't It was the day before we were supposed to leave to go see family during Christmas and those effers showed back up. I guess the DYI stuff didn't work afterall. So I call Hero Lice desperate and disgusted. The woman got my whole family in to be checked within a couple of hours. My daughter ended up being the only one who had it. But let me back up. Hero Lice is in a darling house. It is nicely decorated and the staff couldn't have been more pleasant. They took really good care of us and we bought all the lice killing stuff. So we are ready should they try to show up again. Hero Lice isn't cheap, but they are worth it. Their full treatment is $159 and each head check is $25. But they ended up not charging me or my husband for our head checks. Probably because we bought $100 worth of product and did the full treatment for my daughter. But whatever the reason, it was still nice. They are totally worth the $$$$. Take it from me, Save yourself the trauma of having to treat your kid or yourself for lice and just go to Hero Lice in the first place! read more

Amazing. And no one wants to be at a lice clinic but this one was clean, bright, cheery and in a cute old house on the corner. Jana and Jilian were also bright and cheery- sympathetic at the pestilence and annoyance of a lice infestation and yet competent and positive that the treatment would be successful. Jilian took great care of me and sprayed and combed out each section of my hair, removing all nits and then using a Dyson hair dryer to heat and dry each section before a final comb out. She managed to do all of this and have me lice free in about an hour. I was very impressed. Thanks, Jana and Jilian for your help- saved me tons of time and stress. I've had both kids treated here (20 months apart) and they are always so nice (no shame or awkwardness) and they're SO GOOD at what they do! It's such a relief to get it taken care of. Something to know if you suspect someone in the family has lice. Their 30 day guarantee has a a few caveats - the two main ones are that everyone in the family has to get checked (no additional charge) within 24 hours of the treatment, and you have to do a free follow up check one week after treatment. OMG - these people are LIFE SAVERS! With two teenagers I thought I was past this phase, but we weren't since they work with small children! We got in fast to treat the kids that had it and they checked everyone else in the family to make sure we were clear (thanks goodness we were)!
