My husband and I were both exposed. I didn't think we had lice, so I told my husband he would surely catch lice if he went to a brick and mortar clinic. That freaked him out, so he called Lice Care Solutions. Bonnie B. drove all the way from New Braunfels to our house. They charged $60 for the trip plus $140 minimum for one hour. It took her ten minutes to confirm my husband didn't have lice plus another ten minutes to confirm I didn't have lice as well. She explained that a visual inspection that I did wouldn't have been sufficient because lice can crawl fast. She said that spraying any type of oil immobilizes lice and then used a pick to comb through every strand of hair. I recently took in a young teenager who was about to become homeless. He had a extremely horrible lice infestation. After living with us just for two days, my other son got infected. I didn't even know this type of service existed until last week. We were able to get a same day appointment and Sara arrived right on time. Even though it was near the kids bedtime and then the procedure went way past their bedtime, she was so patient and thorough, despite them being tired and cranky. I kept seeing something on my daughters hair that wouldn't get out so I decided to call a professional. After a week to think about the service, there were aspects that I was not satisfied with and I shared my concerns with the company; Lice Solutions reached out to me with 12 hours of receiving my concerns and addressed each issue. Lea was very friendly, validated how I felt, and provided solutions for each concern. The customer service is wonderful and the 45 day guarantee provides some peace of mind. Initial Review (I should add this was prompted by a $15 refund, written immediately after the service) Great experience! Lisa was friendly and helpful, she interacted well with the kids. Scheduling the service was quick and easy! My only complaint was that I signed the bill without seeing the bill. Lisa explained that she is unaware of the charges so I'm assuming this is a practice employed by the business.
