    Chicken and beef fajitas.

This is one of our favorite Mexican restaurants. All of our friends that we have taken love it as well. The fajitas are always seasoned so well and so tender, lots of food. Reasonable prices. I don't know why this place isn't busier. Maybe because it's in front of Hobby Lobby in a strip center, near Walmart. But they should have their own standalone restaurant because they're so good. The rice is absolutely amazing. We all love it and we actually get some extra to take home. Everything we have tried has been excellent. We highly recommend this restaurant and we hope that they do better and more people will give it a try. they have a bar area you can sit at as well and have drinks. Try it! They have good margaritas also! And happy hour prices during the week .

I rating based on twice of the week visiting this restaurant. After see a few people recommend the restaurant from a facebook page we try and not too far and seeing it off fm 529. It was a bit empty but it was Monday or Tuesday. But warm red sauce was so good, green was okay spicy. Slow service but kind. Delicious fajitas dinner we chose and margarita was okay it was low cost because the day special. Came with grilled onions, rice, charro beans, pico, guacamole, grated cheese and sour cream. Asked more tortillas. Good price when we got check. Second visit was Friday, still pretty empty again for Friday on a Mexican restaurant. Stayed that way while there. This time slowly server with same waiter. Same food but this time only chicken fajita delicious with onions. This time didn't get sour cream but we didn't say anything. The same drink was watered margarita. The check came and more expensive, charged 3 tortillas this time over 3 dollars! Had to ask for more chips to finish the salsa. The lady who gives the chips and salsa was nice though and refilled water. The waiter was slow for everything we asked and it was a empty restaurant. But surprise the change between the first visit. Older building and maybe a small staff and small business. We don't plan to return also this not the safest area off fm 529 dark parking lot. I think it is empty because didn't price between visits and not consistent items on plate and prices. Waiter seems bothered too, but it is ok. Too many choices and will go back to the others near by us.

OK, So this is literally the closest Mexican restaurant to our house and I've always been skeptical to try it out because no one is ever there. Well the joke is definitely on me. I've been missing out big time. We decided to give it a shot and boy was it good!! So I love enchiladas, any kind actually. I wanted to try it out on a sizzling cast iron skillet this time. So I asked the waiter if they could do that and he said yes, and that no one has ever asked this before. YOU MUST TRY THIS! It is delicious, the cheese is bubbling and not burnt when you receive it. And the cast iron keeps the cheese gooey! Seriously ask for this and let me know what you think! The fajitas were also great! The tortillas are made in-house and great margaritas!!! I would of given 5 stars but the chipotle salsa didn't sit well with me! But if you mix the spicy green sauce you can mix it together. They marry very well together! Enjoy!

Now this is a real Mexican restaurant. The food is delicious and the drinks are fab! The drink menu is extensive. Very spacious restaurant with plenty of waiters/waitresses. The service is quick and the food is hot. If you can't find anything to eat here, you're not hungry. The prices are reasonable.. 4 adults, 4 children , drinks, dinner and less than $100. And of course, you know me.... Gotta check out the bathroom... yep, passed the test.. clean, neat and plenty of toilet paper!

I've been recently trying Mexican restaurants right near where I live to show support.. this one Mexican restaurant is right in front of the Walmart right down the street from me. It had changed ownership a few years back and wanted to try it again. I ordered the Frozen house Margarita which was $5. Not bad price! Unfortunately It wasn't good at all. It had a very weird flavor. I then ordered their fish tacos and I was also not a fan. Luckily they had an awesome chipotle sauce that I asked for. It made it more bearable to eat. My favorite part was their charro beans. I wouldn't come back.

I parked and an attendant told me it was supposed to be valet... oops! But he let me stay there and then brought me my car back after we ate. The vibe was cute! Very dated (but in a fun Vintage way) ambiance on the outside and very rustic Tex Mex vibe on the inside. They told us it would be 45 minutes and it was probably closer to an hour and 15 but we checked out the market across the street while we waited. We finally got seated and met our waiter, who I believe was named Jose (I should not have waited this long to do my review!) and he was awesome! Funny, attentive, and super friendly. We ordered the Queso Flameado as a starter. I had never had it nor ever seen anything like it but oh my goodness, it was DELICOUS. I ordered the Antiquas (cheese enchiladas) as my main meal and not only were they so good, but the portion size was huge as well. For $17 I definitely got my money's worth! I left full, happy, and would definitely come back the next time I'm visiting Houston. Well worth the wait!

For drinks, my husband and our friends tried some of the margaritas from their large and unique margaritas menu, as well as their hibiscus agua fresca. All of the drinks were very pretty and it seemed like everyone enjoyed them, too! We started with their chips and salsa trio, which we all really liked. The chips were on the thicker side, but were crispy and not stale or chewy at all. Each of the salsas were quite different, and two were served warm, which we really liked! For the price, I'd consider getting the chips and salsa as a non-negotiable, honestly. For entrees, we tried the enchilada rojas, chilaquiles verde w/ chicken and beef, birria barbacoa ramen, and huaraches. My husband felt like his ramen could have included more meat, but aside from that everyone really enjoyed what they ordered. The highlight was probably the desserts, though! We got a quatro leches and two ordered of their giant and amazing churros. Both were incredibly tasty and reason enough to return for another visit in the future!

Service was remarkable and very friendly from the host to the cleaning staff. Food was delicious. I really appreciated the creative flavors that were inspired by authentic Mexican cuisine. Standouts were the guacamole and wagyu carne asada, but everything was fantastic. I loved the Clara cocktail and enjoyed learning about the process to create it. It is clear that there was care and attention behind each menu item. Also, the pace of the food being brought out was evenly paced, which I appreciate, and our server gave us just the right amount of attentiveness. We celebrated my husband's birthday here, and they sent out a tres leches with a candle on it. Very kind and very delicious dessert. Usually not a big fan of tres leches, but this one was not overwhelmingly soaked in condensed milk, and it has a very fresh tasting peach (seasonal) puree drizzled on top.
