Dr. Herrera AND Staff were most excellent!!I had my Zygomatic implants performed here by Dr. Herrera and what a great Job and Experience!! I was referred to him by my Local Dentist And I found that Dr. Herrerea is only one of a few Dentist in Northern California who can perform this type of surgery. He explained the whole process, took some Xrays and then we went to his OWN Dental Lab right next door. I was so impressed with Dr. Herrera's Lab and detailed discussion of my surgery. We then agreed upon a price and I immediately said YES, let's do this! Getting the All-4-on-one teeth in a day is the best thing I have ever done!! The surgery went well, and I was mildly sore for the next two days. But Advil took care of that. The whole process went very well. I have to say, his Staff teams, the Front desk, and Dr. Herrera's demeanor were superior!! My wallet is a little thinner but my Smile, all-white teeth AND to be able to Bite into an Apple again and having people tell me I look 10 years younger!! Wow oh Wow, I am super happy!! Dr. Nordloff took 4 wisdom teeth out today. He did a great job was very professional but kept it light. His two female assistants were very nice. I'm in very little pain. Also the two young ladies who are receptionist, they did a great job making the procedure and after surgery very clear what to expect. I'm very happy I went to this establishment. read more

Doctor andres herrerea was really professional and kind. I felt secure about getting my tooth pulled by him. The way the main receptionist treated you is another story. I got referred here by my general dentist due to one of my wisdom tooth being in the way of getting my crown done. I called two days later after that appointment, then called this office and got an consultation the next week. Very nice people working here both receptionist and dental assistant. The doctor explain everything to me and answered any questions I had. The day of the procedure it was extremely fast and painless! My husband and I have both been patients of Dr Herrera for the past 5 years. We have seen him in both his Watsonville and Salinas offices. We both have had tooth implants performed by him. He and his staff are kind and caring. He is truly an expert. I couldn't believe how painless my procedure and healing process were. No heavy duty pain killers required just ibuprofen for the first few days following surgery. To be honest, no one looks forward to a tooth extraction and a tooth implant, but Dr Herrera made this very easy and with no pain, just a little feeling of stiffness for a few days. Highly recommend you are able to find yourself a dentist office that gives treatment plans that accommodate your needs instead of suggesting unnecessary and expensive procedures. This review has nothing to do with the doctor because I didn't get to meet him but with his front office staff. I made an appointment three months ago for a wisdom tooth extraction consult, referred by Dr. Yvette San Juan. I received a call saying I had pediatric benefits which means because I am over 18 I have no dental insurance. This is incorrect I called my insurance and checked myself. I called four separate times over the course of two months and told the girls that they needed to check again. Every time I got the the same response, "it says here you have pediatric benefits ..." yes I know you told me that already that's why you need to check again because I called, "okay we will check and get back to you" That's how the call went every time. I called today morning of my appointment because I still hadn't heard back. Carina said she would check and call me back. I left my work in Monterey for her to inform me that yes I have dental but I'm "out of network" 20 min before my appointment. If someone had actually done their job and checked when they were supposed to I could've made an appointment elsewhere. Not waited three months to get in, IN PAIN might I add to be told "we check closer to your appointment." Which is an excuse because I clearly told the girls to check two whole months ago when I was told I didn't have coverage. Unacceptable. read more

I am very thankful I went to see Dr.Herrera... the man literally saved me about $6,000 and a tooth. I had previously been told I needed a tooth implant by another dentist, but just didn't really believe it. After a ton of research, and visiting another oral surgeon who seemed very sketchy, I went to Dr. Herrera for a third opinion. He looked at my x-rays, did some testing on the tooth in question, and then he told me he saw no reason the tooth should be extracted and an implant installed. He also referred me to an endodontist (just to be sure he wasn't missing anything), who also told me the tooth was fine. For what it is worth also, I saw Dr. Herrera in my 20s to have my wisdom teeth extracted and had a wonderful experience also. OH! And had I actually needed the implant, Dr. Herrera's receptionist quoted me a price that was literally almost half of what most oral surgeons were charging (outside of insurance). THANK YOU DR. HERRERA AND STAFF for being honest and caring!!! I will always recommend your office to anyone needing oral work done. read more
