I returned the vehicle exactly as instructed. My expected rental charge was approximately $568. Instead, my credit card was charged $1,143.62--more than double the amount I agreed to pay. After discovering the overcharge, I called the branch multiple times and could not get anyone to answer the phone. I then visited the location in person and was told that other customers had experienced similar issues and that management was handling the matter. Despite being promised a follow-up, weeks have passed and I have received no call, email, explanation, or resolution. The most disappointing part has been the complete lack of communication and customer service. Mistakes happen, but ignoring customers who are trying to resolve billing issues is unacceptable. I hope Enterprise will correct these unauthorized charges and improve how customer concerns are handled moving forward.

I got into n tussle with the store manager when Camaya, the Assistant Manager who rented a car to me, failed to tell me they would be closed on Memorial Day and they tried to charge me for an extra day, on top of the extra day I knew I'd be charged for because they were closed on a Sunday. In the end, the manager did the right thing, but next time, I will either rent from the Peachtree Industrial location (who seem much more competent or willing to work with customers), or go to the Hertz on Holcomb Bridge Road.

They were all over us to get the key (even though kid was badly injured). The assistant manager called multiple times to say "they'll do whatever they can to get that key so we can get a new vehicle delivered..." and said all they needed from insurance was a rate change processed and good to go. After much coordination with insurance and finally getting resolved, Piper jumped in and then said we had to personally pay the deductible, not insurance. Asked why her assistant never mentioned it "I'll have a talk with him, but I told your family this after the accident... (when they were badly injured)." Piper suggested she signs her own checks, so I guess it's her policy since she has no boss? But magically, even with so much power to sign her own checks, she couldn't do anything to right the wrong of her own staff misinforming us of what it would take to get a replacement vehicle.

I was upset, but the manager told me that he could upgrade me, but I would have to pay $186.00 more, no other option. Avis's policy in that situation is to provide the upgrade at no additional cost. Left with no option, I paid the $186.00 more with family waiting. On drop off a week later, I overheard a customer faced with the same situation with no other option other than to pay upgrade. The manager walked away as she cited Avis's policy. Not a coincidence her report confirmed problems at the location. As a lawyer, I did not think this was a coincidence. Happy to hear documented evidence of similarly situated customers. I am not happy and don't want to let this practice continue. The guy working at the time (Andre) confirmed he would make a note, and I was good to go. I arrived at this location right before closing, and told there were no cars left and nothing they could do. I asked when they ran out of cars, and Andre communicated it happened at 1pm (before my modified arrival time). Out of consideration for Enterprise, I called AHEAD to confirm I was still coming, and they still failed to be prepared for my reservation. I was then told that making a reservation online is a "request" for a reservation, not an actual reservation - which makes no sense. I was left stranded in Atlanta with no options, no vehicle, and all of my luggage. I unfortunately was never able to get a car. I will NEVER give Enterprise my business again, the quality of this company has continued to decline and customer service is non-existent. If you need a rental car, go ANYWHERE ELSE!

Thus, service and experience can vastly vary. Well, I need to shout out the team at the Buckhead Hertz location. They are fantastic! Friendly, personable, and always transparent about expected costs. I'm a Presidential Circle member, so I try to use Hertz as much as possible. The airport location frankly has waaaay more options when it comes to vehicles, but it's inconvenient for me to go and the fees are usually higher. Buckhead's fleet has always been consistently pretty good. I've never rented a dirty or old vehicle. They also try their best to give me the best car in the respected class. For now, this is the location I will continue renting from.

This seemed like an easy solution to me needing a car for the weekend. I originally rented the car from Friday to Monday and had to extend it to Tuesday. I had to cashapp them the money witch was no problem, this is a cash rental place anyway. The lady comes out to inspect the car and everything goes over smoothly. We walk back into the office to get my deposit and she takes a gasp and says well you took it out of state so that's another $107 and you were told that when you rented the car. I was not told this at all because I could have just went to the airport and got a car cheaper at that point and I wouldn't of rented from them. This total this POS car cost me 481.50 for 4 days. They are running a shady business here. I will be reaching out to the BBB about this, and I'll never recommend them to anyone. She gave me my $43 after she took $107 out of my deposit and locked the door when I walked out. If that doesn't sound like someone who knows they are screwing people over I don't know what does. The problems I had came when I went to the location to extend my reservation. The agent had no sense of urgency. I even called the customer service line while waiting and that rep was not helpful. She tried to convince me that the location may not have been open that day; although I read off the hours of operation on the door. The people that worked for Toyota provided me with better customer service making sure I was okay while I waited for Hertz worker to arrive. They even offered me coffee and made conversation to ease my frustration. I am not say I will never use them again but it will be a while before I do.
