My company rental car came from this location and the customer service was outstanding. I accidentally forgot my driver's license (duh on my part) when picking up my rental. I had walked to this location since it's just a few miles away but wasn't looking forward to walking back home and then coming back again lol. Without hesitation, one of their staff members offered to drive me the few miles in the rental to my house to pick up my license so I wouldn't have to come back again. I really appreciated the extra step he took, especially since it was completely an error on my part, not theirs. Safety measures for covid included us both being masked, my sitting in the rear of the vehicle, and his wearing disposable gloves to drive (and they leave an individually wrapped disinfecting wipe inside as well). Rented a vehicle from the Manchester location. Had it for a few hours and the "maintenance required " indicator came on. Drove towards home. Then the tire pressure light came on. Knew that wasn't good. Parked car at home because I was afraid to drive all the way down Manchester to return it. Roadside assistance did not answer. Initially getting into the car, there was no proof of the "sanitizing procedures" they claim to perform on each and every vehicle for the safety of the customers. THREE strikes against this location. AGAIN! Shame on us for using them. And be warned , they are NOSY. When doing the walk around to check for dings etc (which were already in the car before driving it off the lot) , the employee asked where I was going to be driving and why I was renting. What?????? Both of which are none of their business. The GALL of these employees is on another level. Unprofessional, nosy, and let's throw in rude as they accused ME of driving over a nail. Which didn't happen. Did it occur to them that most likely the prior driver had done this? What a disgusting and vile experience. Sorry Enterprise. You have gone too far DOWNHILL for us to ever come back. And we are upper level members. Truly unbelievable and inexcusable, Please please be warned......go somewhere else. In addition, the manager didn't do his job as he was asked to have the vehicle towed Saturday when we returned the key, (because roadside assistance wasn't answering,) and due to his rush to get off work,and his lack of professionalism , this ugly blue car sat from Friday afternoon until? .....It's now Monday morning 8:15 am. No sign of a tow truck. Absolutely a nightmare ....stay away. Shame shame shame As the CEO claims, "customers first...". That's almost laughable at this point. Requested for the 5th time a tow for this rental car sitting here e for almost 72 hours blocking my contractors at my home. Again, a 40,000 + mile 2020 Audi. Since when does Enterprise lease old vehicles????? Over 90 minutes later, no tow truck ! This just gets better and better. Think they care about customers?? Absolutely not. Time to man up and face your pathetic inconsistencies and lack of vehicles as well. What a shame St. Louis is the "world headquarters " for this sham of a business. They could care less about the people renting their cars. Fleets? Where are the fleets located. Certainly not in this town. read more

I rented a vehicle while my Odyssey is in the body shop at Schaefers. The rented vehicle's engine light came in while driving on the highway. I need a replacement vehicle today, but apparently they are having difficulty finding one. I have no transportation. It doesn't appear that Enterprise cares. read more

I am a physician with a corporate rental that needs to be exchanged. It is a van. I called ahead of time asking for a van. A woman put me on hold and without telling me anything connected me directly to reservations. Reservations said that location had plenty of vehicles available and told me to walk in. Immediately after walking in and politely making my request, I was told by the young woman that she saw me "trolling around" and that they had no rentals available for me and that I should go elsewhere. First- There is a lot full of minivans and I find it hard to believe they are all rented. Second - I don't call driving around the lot once "trolling around". Third - She never even attempted to find out if there was some other type of vehicle that might work for me. This is almost the worse customer service I've received at Enterprise. I'm very close to refusing to use enterprise for these multi-month rentals read more

I had an excellent experience renting from Enterprise twice on vacation last summer, so when I needed a rental car when my car was in the shop, of course Enterprise was first to come to mind. It helped that my insurance (State Farm) has a deal with Enterprise and are billed directly for the rental. Score! State Farm made a reservation with them and they called me within 15 minutes. I love that they pick you up - they came within 45 minutes and took me to their office. I got an Impala - more car than I needed but it was that or a mini van since it was around the holidays. I ended up having the car for about 9 days. When I returned it, they helped me right away and it was a quick process. I'm happy once again! read more

Who knew a car rental establishment could cause so much stress in my life? Let me just start by saying, my stress is at an all-time high with my wedding being 2 weeks away... All I wanted was a 15 passenger van, so all of my girlfriends could ride out to the wineries together for my bachelorette party. I rented the van almost a month ago, to find out the day before our winery trip, that the van would not be back in time. I then asked if they had any bigger SUVs or mini vans. It wouldn't be as ideal as one large van, but we could make it work. But of course, they did not have any bigger selections, and they did not even offer to call other locations to find what I needed. Instead, they gave me the number to a competitor down the road. Again, I needed the van for the next day, so it was next to impossible to find anything available, so I tried calling the location again to see if there was ANYTHING they could do. Not only was I put on hold for way too long, but I was passed around among different associates, none of them being the person I asked for originally, and each person continued to place me on hold, until I finally hung up and decided I will not give them my business at all. Luckily, Thrifty was my salvation and called me back to confirm they would have a large van back that night! They were willing to make phone calls and do anything in their control to help me, unlike Enterprise. I will avoid Enterprise at all costs. Their lack of customer service and willingness to solve the problem they created was very unprofessional and disappointing. read more

Not even worth 1 star but that's the lowest to select. Made reservation almost 2 months in advance for a 15 pass. van to transport wedding party and Mother of the Groom to wedding and reception. One designated driver so wedding party and family could have a good time make it home safely. Called the morning before pickup and confirmed reservation, was told all was good and that van was out front waiting for pickup the next day. At 7:30PM the night before pickup received a call from store and told there would be no van to pickup the next day. I told her to find one somewhere and call me back. Also at this time all other rental agencies were already closed for the day. Never heard back from them at all. I called Thrifty Car Rental in Kirkwood the next morning and they found two 15 passenger vans for me to choose from. I told them what happened with enterprise and they even charged me less than enterprise's rate. Thank goodness for Thrifty in Kirkwood. That's where I will start first with my next rental experience. read more

I have used Enterprise so much in my life with no problem, so when one of our Sisters needed a car I told insurance company where to go. I will no longer tell them this. At least if I had to use the one next to us....(less than a 5 minute ride) Appointment was made for 9 am and here it is 9:49 and they still have not arrived for pickup. I have had to call twice already each time I am told the driver is on his way..... on the way to where??? Surely not our campus. Stressful is not the word. I have handled this case for two weeks trying to keep things as un-stressful for the Sister (retired nun) as possible, since her accident. This is totally uncalled for. read more

Everyone at this location was extremely friendly and my experience was great, except for two things that made me give a rating of only two stars. I was told I would have to pay for upgrading to a Sonata because the insurance would not be covering an upgrade. This didn't bother me at all, however while I was waiting for my rental car, another woman was being helped. She was in the same situation as me. Insurance would be paying for her rental. They told her she would get a dodge or some type of okay American made vehicle. But then out of no where the employee told her she could upgrade her for free with a Sonata. It bothered me, but not like crazy. This is why I am rating two stars. It has been at least one month and I have not received my $50 deposit back yet. I have called twice and they made a mistake billing the insurance for only two days and not three. The first time I called they said they would take care of it. I just needed to wait. I waited a week and never received a phone call back or my deposit. Anyway, I wouldn't recommend this location. read more

I had an excellent experience renting from this location. My car was being repaired, and I was picked up at the dealer, and brought here to pick out my rental. Everyone at this location was courteous, friendly and most professional, especially Holli & Melissa, who went out of their way to be sure I was a satisfied Enterprise customer. I was greeted on my return by name, which I was most impressed with. Every aspect of the rental experience was explained, as well as the charges, and I was shown the car to be sure I knew how to correctly operate all the bells and whistles, and this car was loaded. AWESOME. I always have an excellent experience with Enterprise, but this location is EXCEPTIONAL. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone. read more

My car broke down and the cost to get it fix along with finishing 4 payments left is very frustrating. I needed a plan to continue being able to get around. I am so thankful and humbly grateful that Enterprise in Kirkwood was there for me on a Sunday April 7, 2019. I was already feeling disgusted and worried but when I got there they lift my spirits. True hospitality, understanding, and placed me in a nice reliable vehicle. The process was so quick I was in and out in less than 15 mins. They open the door to their business and finds what works for you and go from there. I can't remember the 1st lady name back on April 7th. I'm sorry, but today I had the pleasure of meeting Ellie!!!!! She is awesome and she really worked with me seeming that this is going to be my means of transportation until my permanent situation is resolved. I am currently having a horrible experience with this Enterprise Branch. My car dealer's service area made a reservation for me to pick up a car on Friday. I get there, and the only car they have for me is completely beat up with dents in it. It was clearly in some sort of fender bender. Luis tells me that it is my only option and tries to get me to take that car. I say that I will wait for another car on Monday. Today, Monday, I don't hear from them all day, and when I call to enquire about my rental, he tells me that they had 57 contracts today so they are out of cars. My question: shouldn't I have gotten a car before all those since my reservation was for Friday? And then he very rudely told me that I would probably not have a car tomorrow either. It would most likely be on Wednesday. I asked if there was another branch I could get a car from, and he said I would have to call the other branches myself and find out. I would have thought that would have been his job, not mine. This is very disappointing. This branch needs to work on its customer service. read more

When I asked about going to a different Enterprise I was told, "you can but I don't know if they will honor your rate and reservation." Avoid this location like the plague. read more

I know that non-airport locations are usually smaller and thus smaller selection of cars, but come on. I specifically asked for a full size because I had to cart around some customers. They put me in Nissan Sentra. It was a nice car but how do I fit people in it comfortably? They offered a minivan suv hybrid. Why wouldn't I take this generosity???? Hell it's an upgrade to them. No mommy mobile for me thanks. They told me they would call me when something full size came in later that day. 6 hours later still no call. Then the big call came in.... another guy calling to tell me they had a suv hybrid .... it was the same fucking mommy mobile from that morning. PASS. The next day they got me a Chrysler Sebring. It works and satellite radio was a huge plus. Also great thing about them is that they dropped me off at the dealership where my car was being worked on. read more

Very impressed with this Enterprise location - good selection of cars and good service. They were able to provide a car for me on extremely short notice. I asked for a small car, and since they only had mid-sizes at the time, they provided one for me at the small car price. I then needed to extend the rental for a couple of days, and that was no problem and no hassle. When I returned the car (using the convenient after-hours key drop-off), I forgot to fill up the gasoline, but instead of charging me $5.00 per gallon, they charged me actual pump price -- a nice surprise. I rent from this location about once a week for business. They always have a car ready for me when I arrive and are so friendly. The job they have is not an easy one. They are out in all types of weather and still look so nice, and smile through it all!
