Roach infestation!!!! They must keep renting the same cars…read morewith roaches. We first got into our Kia k5 sedan and noticed the mud stains in and out of the car. By day 2 we started noticing the roaches underneath and around the car mats! It was impossible to reach customer service locally and nationally. We decided to take the car back the first thing on day3 of our trip. They replaced our car no problem. However the next car had a broken front seat electric button and the seat was allllll the way forward blocking the right mirror. We went back to tell them and they gave us another Kia, also muddy, but no roaches seen. I don't think they take care of the cars very well or WASH. We wished we checked reviews before booking with them.

I asked for leather seats since I have a condition where I have pain with sitting if the seats are not tilted upward and solid like a leather seat. There were only upholstery seats when I went outside to look so I came back inside to talk to Chiobhan. She went and found a leather seated car that had just been returned and said it'll take 15 minutes to clean which we were fine with. When the Mazda CX-50 car came out, we got in and took off but after about a mile or two, I was having pain because the seat was not very good and didn't tilt upward. So we turned around and went back in the parking lot and I was greeted by Alan and told him I'm having pain and I'm willing to upgrade for a better car. As I was heading back to the office, I saw a higher model Mazda CX-90 AWD and sat inside it and it was really nice and the leather seats were more firm and tilted back like I needed. I took a picture of the license plate and told them this is the one I wanted. They said no problem but I need to pay an upgrade for you and I said I'm happy to. Both Chiobhan and Alan we're super friendly and no nonsense and were quick to respond and take care of business with a high-level of customer service and in a very timely manner. I drove away very happy with how I was treated and with the car. Now I'm driving around with a beautiful and comfortable higher level Mazda SUV. I just need to remember next time to order a crossover or premium SUV.

The woman behind the counter was acting very strange, almost like she was on drugs. After 40 minutes, she finally gave us a car. When went to the car, the engine and oil change lights were on and it wouldn't start. So then we had to go in again and deal with the woman behind the counter again. It really sucked to arrive in Hawaii after around 5-6 hours flying to deal with car rental issues. Then my brother in law had issues with the drop off. Hertz contacted them after arriving home saying the car was never dropped off. The had to go through Hertz's automated phone system to rectify Hertz's mistake.
