    Honestly I don't understand the other reviews I'm seeing on this business because I have had nothing but excellent service through this branch. Extremely kind and courteous and more than willing to be patient and answer all and any questions I might have. I'm from orange county so as most know we're stuck up and stubborn and spoiled, I get better service at this location than I do it any of the ones located nearby and where I live. I highly recommend utilizing this branch for all car rental needs because he will be taking very well care of. The young lady that assisted me (Autumn) was so friendly and optimistic that it was the perfect way to start my day visiting Corvallis.

    But they'll still charge you $35 for bringing it back with 60 miles less!

    I did a one day, one way trip with Hertz from Portland to Corvallis. I went with the "mystery car/manager special" and got a Chevy Bolt EV with approximately 172 miles of range. I had to return the car the next day and drove around for 2 hours trying to find a working fast charger as the company requires 70% or higher state of charge upon return, which makes sense. (Return is as you got it) However I experienced nothing but charging issues and nightmares, the main reason EV's aren't popular in many geographic areas. All fast chargers in the area were down, malfunctioning and or non-op. I finally found a working fast charger an hour before return and was able to get 30 kWh getting the car to 112 miles of range where the car then gave me an error message "plugged in, not able to charge." I returned the car and explained the situation to the lady and she said well we're gonna charge ya $35 recharge fee since it's only at half charge! $35 recharge fee for not being able to charge it another 60 miles due to their car charging error!? That was Almost as much as the daily rate or 11 gallons of gas! I explained what had happened and she shrugged and acted like not my problem. She could have given me a break given the car wouldn't take any more charge past 112 miles! Do yourself a favor and don't rent any broken EV's from Hertz! They'll charge you for their incompetent broken vehicles! My past experience with Hertz was bad and I regret giving them another chance! Do your self a favor if you do take the risk and rent a GAS car! For $35 EV charge I could have driven a Corolla 439 miles instead of the 135 miles I got from the bolt. (A gas car would have costed me $11 in gas instead of their $35 charge plus the $14 in charge session! $49!!!) This company cares more about profits than customer retention or doing what's fair/right. I won't be back!

    I had to clean the inside myself and this is just from the seats, door panels, and controls. Fucking gross

He provided us with several options, even having one of his guys, Sawyer, spend 2 to 3 hours pulling a car out of one of their other locations (because it was buried in a sea of auction cars) for us to look at/ test drive. We negotiated a very fair price and he even offered to help with financing in house at a VERY fair interest rate, if we didn't have cash on hand. Never once was there any pressure from him to make a purchase or to choose one vehicle versus the other. He was open and honest about any cosmetic or mechanical issues that different cars might have. I've never met another used car salesman like him. We made a purchase and our very happy with the vehicle, the price, and the whole experience. He's even helping us source some tires for it. We got a little 2003 Suzuki hatchback!

Gabe and his crew were very welcoming, the price was fair and it is great to see young people who work hard succeed. He worked with me over the phone prior to us coming up, wrote into the contract a guarantee that it would pass California smog. We highly recommend this business.     Extremely disappointing service. I went in for a system check up and brake work, as they were…read moresounding rather squeaky. After finishing work and paying 700 for the services, I found the brake noise was still persisting in the front. I originally asked them to replace the front brakes as they were still on warranty. Despite this notion they replaced just the rear brake pads and rotors. Also after further inspection, the rear rotors are completely rusted, while the front rotors which I've had for 4+ years are clean. If I'm going to be charged 700 to not fix the issue, I'd hope they at least issue me new equipment. Do not get service here.

    Shining example of why people don't trust mechanics anymore…read more Changed some belts on a friends car, noticed her tie rod boot was completely dry rotted and falling apart. Nothing strange on a 20 year old car. But when I asked the last time someone had been under there she said Firestone, last week for an alignment and got a list for service suggestions. One of which was belts- both were still in decent shape btw.... No mention of the boot being 60% gone and the inner tie rod being on its way out. Which leaves me with three guesses: 1 tech was having a really bad day, happens but inexcusable when doing alignment with failing components staring at you. 2 broke it completely while doing the alignment, say nothing. charge em for parts and labor next time while letting it go completely to crap and potentially unsafe. 3saw it and left it knowing they'd charge next time in regardless. Sheet said they adjusted all 3 angles, didn't look like lock nut had been budged on that one tho..... Any combination of those three scenarios equals hack mechanic and very likely a dishonest one too. Final note, 2 of 3 local parts stores had boot and both tie rods in stock. Whatever logic in firestones mind-doing the job right was too much to ask. However per their service suggestions they would be quite happy to charge her 72$ to change a breaklight bulb. I Wish I was making that number up. Let you readers do the math before going here. I personally wouldn't trust them to fix my lawnmower.
