Literally everything. Didn't get the car we were promised, and then they had to 'clean up' the car that was what they said was equivalent. I'll add that the desk attendant was REALLY trying to sell us on the fact he was giving us a good car. We returned it after we filled the tank and got a car wash and vacuum. The desk attendant said nothing about anything being wrong and didn't even inspect the car. We signed off on the original agreement and price. 24 hours later our credit card was charged $250 because it was 'filthy' and took 3 hours to clean it. HIGHLY doubtful that my retired husband and I were responsible for anything they claimed. We tried to speak with Hertz and were told no, the charges are correct via email. There are no pictures, there was no inspection and no customer service. Stay far far away because if it takes someone 3 hours to wash an already washed car, as they stated, they may not have the best judgment or business acumen. read more

I was an Enterprise business account holder, but Hertz has won my business with their great customer service and easy process! This is a small Hertz office, but also my favorite and I travel a fair amount and have used this location several times before I posted this review. The owner is almost always onsite and makes sure you are taken care of and everything is always good or even above what I expected. read more

USE ANOTHER RENTAL COMPANY! Worst customer service experience possible. I had booked my rental a few months in advance and called multiple times to confirm my reservation. The day of I was delayed by an hour late for our pickup time and they had rented the vehicle to someone else leaving my family stranded. This is the last thing you should have to worry about when traveling does not go as expected. The lady behind the counter was extremely rude and absolutely zero help. I have rented with Hertz in the past and had a wonderful experience, but this was the worst! read more

This is the second time we reserved online, only to find they didn't have a car for us! The day before spring break and every other dealership in Holland was booked so we had to drive to Grand Rapids to get the car. No remorse from the employees. The first time they only had a compact available when we reserved a full size (5 people!). This time we were a bit late to pick up (reserved for noon, got there at 12:45) and they said- "you weren't here so we gave away your car." When my husband asked why they didn't contact us with any of the information we used to reserve- home phone, cell, email- they said the were too busy. Why book ahead??? Absolutely DON'T TRUST THIS COMPANY to give you what you reserved!!! read more

The girl at the desk is very rude, every time I go there I get attitude and have to keep my cool. She must truly dislike her job, but she picked to work there, bad people service. I think because she works there she thinks she can talk to people anyway but but dealing with the public that's bad business, and with me she got the wrong one. I would not advise any of my friends to go there, i use yo twll all my friends and faimly to go there due to I never had problems from anybody until i started seeing her. I don't know if she's angry that she has to clean cars or angry that certain people can rent cars and she can't. She has to be angry for some reason, maybe she gets min pay and can't rent or fix her eyeglasses, since last year she been walking around with them taped all up and the eye part.
