I am writing to you to express my extreme disappointment before writing my yelp review. I made a reservation for a compact car from an Amtrak train coming from California to Philadelphia to my mothers funeral. After traveling cross country with assurance of a compact car suitable to be in a funeral procession I find the "corporate" took all the cars leaving only giant mini vans. I have not cried about my mother for days but this broke me. Customers should be able to count on receiving what they requested. I will have to drive back to 30th street station tomorrow in a vehicle I am uncomfortable driving to try to exchange it. It is unfair and unethical to bait and switch customers after taking their money. People choose cars they are comfortable driving and that meet their needs. We were given a receipt to give to the attendant to exit the lot. We landed in Philly at 6:30 am and were in Ocean City, NJ by 8:30 am walking on the boardwalk! I always dread the car rental lines and extremely slow process of them trying to get you to upgrade and sell you insurance you don't need. This was the easiest, most expedited car rental process I have ever used! I will be renting from them from now on when I travel to the NJ! They cancelled my reservation after selling to Turo, promising a refund within 10 business days. It's now been nearly a month, and no refund. Oh, and they've disconnected their phone numbers. AND Turo refuses any responsibility. Avoid this "not your average" experience at all costs!

I've used Kyte and the pricing and quality of vehicles is much better than comparable services…read more(i.e. Zipcar), and I like the flexibility of pickup/dropoff times as compared to going to a physical car rental place, which are usually closed on weekends. I've always had a seamless pickup/dropoff experience and the surfers are always courteous and professional. My only gripe is with the service area -- not sure why Kyte goes super far out into the suburbs, but doesn't cover neighborhoods that are ~2 miles from center city.

Avoid this car rental. I went through a $4 dollar toll that had no cash stop, and I messaged him…read morestating I have a ezpass but I forgot to bring it so when the toll charge comes in the mail we can take care of any extra fees because I do have an ezpass. Fast forward to when the bill comes it's for $55! I messaged him and like the whole trip his responded super fast and respectfully. He said yeah that's what he was charged and he couldn't do anything. So I said I'll call ezpass and they'll take care of the extra charges like they always do. The ezpass company said I needed the appeal paperwork signed and have a picture sent to me so I can fill out and appeal. The once super fast responder when ghost. After like 2-3 days he tells me "he has to look for it" and tells me to call the app I used to book. After pleading with him he states "I'm done with this issue you ran through the toll deal with it" long story short don't deal with this type of unprofessional uncaring owner. Only looking out for himself and has the nerve to say "all this over $50?" lol as if he had to charge me the extra $50. Hope more ppl realize this and stop renting.

I just wish people in line would have spread out and socially distanced better. The rep we got was very friendly and efficient. After quick paperwork, she led us outside to the aisle from which we chose. Our car was great, well-maintained and clean. Tip: Enterprise, Avis, and National share a lot and shuttle. There was a notice on the shuttle's door to call a certain phone number on our return trip to ask for a shuttle. I just took a picture on my phone so I'd have the number.
