Horrendous Experience with Enterprise at 215 Blue Course Dr, State College, PA…read more I had an extremely disappointing experience with Enterprise at this location. I reserved a 15-passenger van 10 days in advance and received a confirmation (#2077391562), trusting the company to honor its commitment. Less than 24 hours before my reservation, I received a call informing me that the van was not available. This left me in a terrible situation, as I had already booked hotels for my family, costing me nearly $2,000. When I asked why their website still showed availability for the same van at the same location, I was told, "That's just the system." This explanation is completely unacceptable and shows a lack of accountability on their part. If their system cannot reflect accurate availability, how can customers trust Enterprise at all? I also called Enterprise customer service, and they assured me they would call me back as soon as they located an available van. It has now been over 24 hours, and I have received no call or follow-up whatsoever. The lack of communication and follow-through has been appalling and left me without any options. When I spoke with the manager at this location, Owen, he offered nothing but a dismissive "sorry" without any viable solution or effort to rectify the issue. A 15-passenger van is not something easily replaced at the last minute, and this complete failure of service caused chaos for my family's plans. How can a company of Enterprise's stature operate with such negligence and disregard for their customers' needs and expenses? A confirmation number should mean something, and when a company fails to deliver, the bare minimum they can do is provide a solution--not just an empty apology. This experience has been both frustrating and costly, and I urge others to think twice before trusting this location with your travel needs. **** Update 12/24/2024: I already visited the link you provided and submitted my case four days ago, along with all the requested information, including my contact details and reservation number. However, I have yet to receive any response or follow-up from your team. This lack of communication is further evidence of the poor customer service I have experienced throughout this entire ordeal. I took the time to contact you as instructed, but it seems my concerns are being ignored, just like the confirmation of my reservation was. I expect a prompt and meaningful resolution to this matter--not just another template response directing me to a website that doesn't lead to action. Please take responsibility for addressing this situation directly and promptly.

I'm knocking a couple stars off from my previous review for a few reasons. Service is still good…read moreand prices are fair but I'm pretty frustrated at some of the chaos they could have helped prevent in my life! We had a big move ahead of us and I was trying to get preparations in order, including getting a hitch installed to our SUV so that we could pull a trailer for the move. I called and asked for a quote and they gave me one with or without parts in case I wanted to supply the hitch myself. I appreciated that and decided to order a hitch separately to save a little money. When I took it in for my appointment (baby with me waiting the entire time) everything went fine and I was out of there in a little over an hour. Flash forward a few days to when it's time for my husband to pick up the Uhaul trailer... they say we can't actually pick it up because we didn't have any of the necessary electrical wiring to hook up the trailer lights for brakes/hazards. Duh! Why didn't I think of that? Maybe because I'm a new mom with a baby and a big move and a lot going on. More importantly, why didn't anyone at Karch think to even ask about wiring? Who tows a trailer without hooking it up to electrical so you can use brake lights? I think I expected an establishment like theirs to be a little more helpful and at least mention it as a "hey, will you want any wiring for that?". After all, they do that with nearly every other service they provide. Pretty disappointed but the move has now been completed (after my husband had to drive over an hour one way to another place to get same day wiring done) and I am looking forward to finding a new auto shop to use instead of Karch.

I reserved a specific class of car. the luxury SUV, "BMW or similar". I reserved this car a month…read morein advance. I called the people at University part airport two weeks prior to my rental date of yesterday 9/5/2024 to make sure they had my reservation. Everything is fine, i was told. I called them on the 4th, the day before the rental. everything is fine, i was told. I checked in on line to streamline the process as they (National) recommend. When I arrived at my appointed time yesterday they had no car. The clerk said you can have a sedan. I told the clerk that My wife and I both have mobility issues. this is why I requested this specific class of vehicle. they then told me they would "upgrade me" to a Jeep. I asked just how a jeep was an upgrade from a BMW X3? she said well, its bigger and we go by size. this was a 7 passenger vehicle and was also not acceptable due to its size. upon further inquiry the one clerk told me they had my car the prior evening and she didn't know what happened to it. So now the trip has been canceled and I will miss my fathers Memorial not to mention I am out $750.00 for the B&B rental. long story short DON'T USE NATIONAL CAR RENTAL.

AND this is again the second time the vehicle was not available, after having received notification the day ahead reminding me of the reservation NO CARS AVAILABLE AT STATE COLLEGE AIRPORT! When I asked him to call me when one became available, he said if I do that for you I would have to do it for 100 people. Which made me wonder what his job was. They had 4 larger SUV which he labled "specialty" suvs which he wiuld NOT Rent me This happened to me in July when I was going from Ft Lauderdale to Orlando and back. Never again will I deal with Enterprise, very unreliable when you need a car. I went to AVIS, at the airport and was at least able to get a Toyota Carola for the week. The young woman was very helpful & courteous
