Quick note: despite the similar "Hey" branding, this has no affiliation with the massive Chinese chain HEYTEA. Totally separate companies. The interior is clean, bright, and feels brand new. Ordering is self-serve at a kiosk, though staff up front can assist if needed. For a casual dessert spot, expectations are set accordingly and they deliver. Came here with my son and we both left happy. He had the mango yogurt drink and I went with the strawberry matcha. Both hit the spot. What I appreciate most is the health-conscious angle most of their fruit yogurt drinks land in the 250-320 calorie range (mango is ~293, strawberry ~252), which is noticeably lighter than a typical boba that can easily run 400-600 calories. When you're craving something sweet but want to make a smarter choice, Hey Yogurt is a solid answer. And yes -- there's absolutely room in this world for both boba and yogurt drinks. They do such a great job seamlessly mixing the mango and yogurt together. Theres mango flavoring along the edges of the cup and mango chunks at the bottom. The yogurt itself is sweet, a bit tart, and smooth. Together with the mango, it has a nice refreshing aspect. I've been seeing this place on my social media and so I knew I had to stop by when traveling to Dallas and boy am I glad I did. This is located in a new complex in the Carrollton area and is a cozy little store with a bit of inside seating. When we went, there wasn't a lot of people there and so we were able to place an order at the kiosk very quickly. I have to say every fruit combination they offered looked amazing and it was honestly very hard for me to pick. We ended up, settling on the passionfruit yogurt and a mixed combination of strawberry mango. I also ended up getting the full sweetness on both which, for someone who doesn't like to sour of yogurt I think this was the best option! The drink is very refreshing and because the fruit pieces are fresh you get a little bit of a chew with every sip!! I really do like the tanginess of the yogurt and the drink does have a little bit of thickness to it, which is very nice. This is what we need in DFW! - A new drink shop (but not boba tea or coffee shop, which we already have so many) with many different yummy, refreshing yogurt drinks. This is a very cute shop & the guy at the counter is probably the most polite person we've ever encountered. Not only did he offer us a bag for our other items but he kindly put all my drinks in an insulated bag so I could carry it home to my family without worrying about the TX heat melting it. The yogurt itself is delicious. Very light and not super sweet. It's not as thick as one would think, more like a smoothie texture. The fruits all compliment it well, you can't go wrong with any choice. The matcha & strawberry was a dreamy combination. All you need to do is select the drink that you want & you'll automatically get the same flavor free. During my visit I got the strawberry mango & matcha strawberry. Both drinks were so good. However, the drinks actually taste light and not too much like yogurt! The drink texture is like a yogurt drink and the oreo flavor is really yummy. I also got to try the strawberry yogurt which tasted like a strawberry smoothie and the dragonfruit flavor which didn't taste like much. On the cup, it implies that it is best enjoyed within 30 minutes. Didn't think much of it but after 30 minutes, the oreo yogurt started to taste artificial-like. Definitely enjoy within 30 minutes!! This place was absolutely crazy during their grand opening, when they had BOGO drinks, but it has since calmed down significantly. The wait is typically just a few minutes now. I love this place so much. I go here twice a week. I usually get the dragon fruit and mango yogurt with low sugar. I like that. Not too sweet. I also sometimes alternate with the strawberry and mango yogurt. My husband one time got a matcha yogurt but he and my cousin said that the matcha did not blend smoothly so it was powdery.
