Not the best place to come to for good food and drinks, but it's more for the spacious and rustic vibe for studying and having conversations with friends. It's a huge cafe that has two stories. The upstairs area is often taken up first than the downstairs but it makes for more private space depending on how busy it is. Even in the downstairs area, there are dimly lit areas on the outskirts that feel semi private, great for studying. Their food and drink menu is very large and they try to have seasonal trendy items like in Korea such as sweet potato latte, egg toast, etc. I have never been wowed by any of their desserts or drinks as they have always tasted average or below average. This cafe has been around for a while and has changed a few ownerships, but is still standing as it makes for a convenient and spacious place to hang out with friends especially when all other cafes in the area are crowded. read more

Warm tones and spacious, Pretty loud today may be due to it being a weekend. Bathroom floors are dirty and they do have a sign up that wall on one side is unsturdy so do not lean on it. There may be a problem with plumbing it smelled like water sewage. I'm assuming renovation of bathroom will be coming soon. As far as service, although cashier was friendly my experience would be better if she asked if it is my first time. Thankfully, Tom n toms exists. The building is spacious with tons of varied seating for all different groups and comfort levels. It has two stories with the upstairs definitely providing more privacy. Often times people who are studying or working on their laptops will hang out up there. The shop is extremely clean and as I'm writing this am employee is mopping and another is wiping down the display case. For ordering you can either use the automated machines or order at the back with an employee. They are very friendly and hardworking. The food and coffee are great! There is a large selection from delicious breads to pizza, mini hot dogs wraps, pretzels with bulgogi or other various toppings, and more. The drink selection is also pretty wide. I got a chocolate cinnamon drink that is delicious and tastes like Christmas. They also do have jelly boba you can add to drinks here but I'm not sure how many drinks they serve would actually be good with it so if you are looking for a big boba selection I would recommend one of the other dedicated boba tea places nearby. read more

I've been coming to this location for years and despite some of its well known downsides, I continue to come back. The cafe itself is a nice size with two floors and there's ample space for you and some friends to come and sit and hangout or study. I really enjoy the ambiance and dark lighting! However, if you need an outlet this place may not be ideal, especially if you come during busy hours! There are only a few tables with outlets! The food and drinks are usually pretty good! And the service is pretty fast! (You do have to order something if you want the wifi as the change it everyday ) Despite those good things there are DEFINITELY some issues. The owner can be quite aggressive, there have been many instances I've witnessed of him telling people to move from booths even when it's not busy, as well as moments of him grilling customers for not grabbing their drinks from the counter quick enough. I also don't care for the no outside food or drink policy. I spend a good 10-15 dollars each time I go and I wish I could bring my own snacks without being scolded. And just to warn everyone there are MANY cameras monitoring the cafe to look for people sneaking stuff. read more

The interior is beautiful and spacious: wooden tables, dim yellow warm lights, and no shortage of tables. The caramel macchiato I ordered was decent but expensive compared to other cafes. I ordered a mango smoothie several months prior, which was also decent but pricey compared to other cafes. If you're looking for a place to study, I would recommend you look elsewhere. Despite a large amount of seating, there are a limited number of working outlets. What bothered me the most, however, was how LOUD the music was. You do have to purchase something to get the wifi code (they are on the receipt), and they seem to be pretty strict about reserving their tablespace for paying customers The one weird thing is that the wifi sometimes doesn't connect to Macbooks. To get around this, I connect to the wifi on my phone and then share the password with my Mac. Otherwise, the internet connection has always been stable and decent for working from home. read more

So crazy to see a Tom N Toms in Dallas... Tom N Toms is not the most loved coffee chain in South Korea, but it definitely still has a presence, so it was nice being able to see one here in Carrollton. Decided to go to a cafe to get some work done, so I decided to visit Tom N Tom's! When I went inside, the place was HUGE. There are two floors and there is plenty of seating. The inside was very well air conditioned so it was perfect for a hot day like summertime. When we went up to order, I saw the menu was EXPANSIVE. Starting with your basic coffee, they had food products that only a Korean Tom N Tom's would have, such as pretzels, honey breads, shaved ice, and they even had food-food (chicken & waffles) so that was neat to see! I ordered a mint mocha, and I also ordered a pistachio macaron. The drink selection isn't very expansive, but it still has everything that a typical Korean-American cafe would have. The mint mocha was pretty good. Nothing too spectacular, but the pistachio macaron was very ehh. It was not good. I wouldn't order it again. But then, I do have to admit that this place isn't a macaron specialty place so I wasn't too annoyed. I sat in the second floor, and the wi-fi here is super fast. The seats aren't the most comfortable but I just love how wide this place is and it's a great place to get work done!
