Heyday is an absolute staple, especially living near the neighborhood. Not only is the staff friendly, but they always take good care of us, especially when they are packed. The beer on tap is excellent and the menu is always changing, the wine is great also. Their kitchen is finally open again, and the Spicy Honey Pizza is a perfect way to end a Friday night. We usually sit outside since they have live music or DJ music bingo happening, which is perfect for us as we let our dogs sit outside with us. This place probably offers a much nicer experience if you come when they're slow; we were here at 4:00 pm and it was packed. Meh: -You aren't greeted and just take a menu and order at the bar. This is the part I didn't care for and hope they improve; if the bar is full, hopefully, the staff will see you. It would be much more efficient if they had a section of the counter marked to stand at when you're ready to order if you're not sitting at the bar. -Be prepared for it to be loud, it is noisy enough that i's very difficult to hold a conversation. -The food is "ok". Good, but nothing special; the fried items are a touch greasy and could use a little finishing seasoning. We shared a chips & dip trio, "catnips", and a pizza. The rest of our group had two other pizzas, a burger, and two other apps. -The wait staff is nice, but other than bringing and taking away the pans/baskets are not very attentive. Essentially, they'll bring your food otherwise, you're on your own. Stand and go to the bar if you want another drink, extra food, to-go box, etc. (which if they're busy means you'll be away from your table for a bit), or to the other counter for sweet stuff. It would be nicer if they had a portable card reader and could help out at the table. ***Not their fault, but: mind the kids. We could barely park because children were running and scootering unsupervised in the lot. The drinks are nice, though, so if you're here mainly for the bar, you'll enjoy it. read more

Very cool brewery with well above average beer. Only issue is dogs are t allowed inside which kinda sucks in the Winter.

Food was okay however the bar service and ambiance set by one of the bartenders named Chris was specifically atrocious. He treats his staff like they're less than human and comes off as standoffish. AI also saw him later in the night smoking something pretty skunky and then getting on the road to leave, I don't live very far and it's a regular occurence. I was excited to finally make it out to this place, unfortunately our experience was just okay. I liked how spacious it is, there is seating available both inside and out. When you enter you can order food to the left or beer to the right. We all split an order of the hushpuppies then two of us ordered the that fried chicken sandwich and my husband tried the summer vibes pizza. Now it was time to head over to order beer. I tried two IPAs, the Finger Guns and Future Nostalgia, my husband got the Hi-Rise Hefeweizen and our friend got the Line and Pole English Pale Ale. We all liked our beers, my personal favorite was the Future Nostalgia. The driver behind the 3 star review was the food, it wasn't the best. I liked the hushpuppies but both chicken sandwiches were disappointing. It was a small piece of chicken that was way overcooked with barely any pickled cabbage. In my neighborhood and really wanted to like the place but everything is way overpriced and the food is meh. I think I spent More on a glass of wine today than the bottle would have cost at the grocery story. Beer is pretty good. Pizza is always burnt (you can taste it) and they can't seem to keep a chef. Appreciate that they are trying to be a party of the community but a better way might be just to make it a better environment for families with kids (a lot of What's around here). Decided to try out a new Brewery on a late Saturday afternoon. This place just opened. It is in a new development that has townhomes, single family homes and apartments near by. Looks like much more to come in the area. Great casual place that also serves food. I'm a picky beer drinker who likes sours, fruit forward beers & sweet ciders. Not a lot of homemade options for me. They did carry Austin's Pineapple which I had never had before and Bull City Cider which tends to be a dryer cider, both on tap. Nice atmosphere. Great place for kids of any age. Ok, so I was super excited to check this place out.. it's cute, but I'm so annoyed and not impressed. I understand it's new, but they posted/ advertised on face book for Pi Day pizza specials we drive a half an hour to get here and they are out of all pizzas, hush puppies, out of lots of beer . So $ 32.00 for one burger and 6 wings.. AND you have to order at the counter, go back up and get your food( in a take out container) and they add on an automatic 15 percent "living wage" charge. also I told the people at the counter ( who could barely heat us because the music is so loud) that we drove far and were very disappointed they definitely didn't care and they was no manager in sight. So only 2 out of the 4 of us even got dinner. Will not be back. No thanks read more

I really like the Heyday vibe and they have a really good beer/cocktail selection. They have a new fOod menu which has more items I like. I would note their pretzel knots were good but their "house-made" beer cheese seemed to be mostly butter so I returned it to their kitchen to let them know. We ate the pretzels, which were really good, without the dip. Funny thing was when I saw another guy walking in with the same "beer-cheese" cup and I told him I'd told one of the kitchen staff, and, he said he had same experience but wasn't gonna tell the kitchen because I did earlier. Still, I think the new menu is an improvement, there is good beer/cocktail selection and the staff are great! read more

Great place FLIES!! Lots of flies! A ridiculous amount of flies guaranteed to ruin your attempt of enjoying the overpriced and super meh food. Lazy staff that apparently still doesn't comprehend that NO restaurant leaves a trash can UNCOVERED in an OUTSIDE AREA!! It's gross, it's unhygienic, it's not sanitary and the health department would definitely have issues with their lackadaisical measures for their guest's health and safety. If this fly party is at the front door it this bad, it makes you wonder how bad the kitchen is! Just put a damn lid on your trash cans outside, it's not hard. Y'all are just lazy and gross. And the bartender that thinks he's too cool to work there or to help customers know what one unfamiliar beer is....I've never seen an actual douche walk before so kudos on your uber coolness, you walking and barely speaking, unhelpful douche. This is such a great brewery and just a cool local hang out spot! It's kinda hidden away, so I feel like it gets missed, but deserves so much more recognition! So many great beers but also one of the best bloody Mary's I've ever had! They have a full food menu and the pizza is also super fresh and tasty! The vibe is perfect, very open and spacious. Music is extremely loud, the food is just okay I have tasted better. In my opinion it is a bit over priced. By the time we received our food it was at best lukewarm and I'm not sure what's up with their kitchen but it's closed a lot, like maybe their not passing inspections?!? Anywho the first time I was there they had fried oysters on the menu and that is the only reason I'm giving it two stars. When I went back about 1 month ago their kitchen was down again! Heyday is near where I work and thought it looked like a good place to try. I invited another couple to join the Wife and Me. Our plan was to try a couple beers and the food they had on hand. As I said I had never patronized this place before. I approached the bar and ask the woman working there for suggestions as I was not familiar with their offerings. She said that was not her job. As I was trying to explain to her that I was not familiar with their beer she started to raise her voice, everyone within a few feet turned around, and Screamed NO. Needless to say I gathered my group and went to Olive Garden. It amazing that a business treats new customers this way. I will never step foot in that place again and will tell everybody I know to avoid it at all costs. If the owner is reading this hire a better class of people to work there. read more
