Easy place to find, it's in the middle of a residential area. Food and drinks are at opposite counters, so you go order your food, then go order drinks. Food was good, and surprisingly diverse! Beer was decent, and they had lots of signs for what's to come next (just wish those were already on draft!). They have vegetarian options, and spicy options.

I came here for my friend's birthday party and we had a great time! I really liked the beer I had: Health Bar (a double IPA). They also offer THC beverages in cans if you aren't in the mood for alcohol. We got a variety of food items in the party room, so I tried a couple different things and really enjoyed their loaded tots, fried fish, and fried pickles. All the bartenders were nice and helpful, I got to try a sample before ordering my beer. The live music was near the bar so it was a little hard to hear, but the bartenders were great about verifying orders and drinks. I saw they had pinball machines, so I definitely want to check those out next time I visit!

Love this place! I come here for lunch almost daily because I can literally walk here. It's always clean, food is excellent, and this place is a whole vibe! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Great customer service!

Great spot with solid food and good beer. What was really neat was the line of pinball machines. Very cool. I had a quesadilla and a tasting flight. Excellent. The staff was efficient and helpful. Great outdoor area but it was 97 so I skipped that today. Give these folks a try

Heyday Brewing is such a fun spot hidden in an unassuming neighborhood. I love that both the food and drink selections have a lot of variety. Their peach cider is delightfully refreshing, and their IPAs pack the perfect amount of hoppy flavor. My party ordered the catfish bites which were wonderful, as well as the Buffalo chicken pizza. Make sure you really enjoy spice, as this pizza was too hot for some of our group to bear. We visited on a Sunday afternoon, and felt a little uncomfortable that despite business being slow, the bartenders seemed inconvenienced/unhappy to help us. I highly recommend bringing quarters to try out their retro pinballs machines, they're a lot of fun!

Had a really good time! Happened to stroll in on a Thursday during music bingo/trivia night and it was lovely. The drinks and cider i had were really tasty. I ordered a burger and fries and would definitely be back for more events and to try more food. The bar staff was super friendly and had great conversation.

This Brewpub in the 5401 North neighborhood has undergone so many transformations! I do believe they have really succeeded in food quality consistency. The current menu has a nice variety of burgers, pizzas, sandwiches, salads, wings, and more. Pizzas are now hand-tossed and the Pepperoni with Spicy Honey is my favorite. Burger quality is way better than it used to be. Our experience has been that they do cook them pretty well done, but are juicy and flavorful. Also highly recommend anything with the Blackened Chicken. I had it on a Caesar Salad and it was seasoned so nicely and very tender. Beer selection is not huge, but has a nice variety. Three different size pours for each. They also have a few wines, and some mixed drinks. Entertainment is where they excel these days. There's almost always live music, or trivia, music bingo, drag shows...there are even a couple of pinball machines. I recommend following on Instagram and/or Facebook for specials. Tuesdays usually mean $10 pizzas, and Wednesdays half price wine bottles or a couple bucks off a glass of wine. Indoor & Outdoor seating, plus a room you can reserve. Plenty of parking. Only catch is with all the greatness going on, sometimes it can be hard to find a table at peak times.

Tons of beer- amazing selection! Heyday also has a full kitchen and a great food menu, so it's easy to make a day out of your visit here. There's a few outdoor high tops and picnic tables, but main seating is indoors.

Chicken tenders: half mango habanero/ half lemon pepper

This place has the potential to be a 5 star brewery but missed the mark with a few things. The pricing for the food was bit high. I got the chicken tenders that came with fries, the mango habanero ones were good but the lemon pepper ones were a no. Way too salty it's like they dumped the shaker all over it. The ciders I had were good. As far as beer prices go they are a little higher than the bars and other breweries I've been too. The decor inside is nice and outside ,as well so plenty of seating. They had like 5 pinball machines but cost $1.25 so I didn't understand that. Overall this place is decent at best might try it again idk.

The low down: Fun atmosphere and activities such as music bingo and trivia. Outdoor seating (although no heaters that I saw for winter time) Barstools w backs! Good food and friendly servers! I feel it's a bit pricey, but they do have drink specials. Fun Fact: picture of Betty White hangs behind the bar. Some patrons even call it Betty's place. Also Wednesday is 1/2 off wine. Heyday Brewing sits back off 401/Louisburg Rd in NE Raleigh. I have been there twice and there is always a decent amount of patrons. Parking is easy, there is a parking lot as well as street parking. When you walk in through the main entry walk down an entrance way where there are bags of malt and grains lined up on each side. To the right side is the bar and seating (Along w some video games and the outdoor entrance) to the left is more seating, the kitchen area and the bathrooms. The building is spacious offering separate tables, barstools as well as picnic type community seating. They have a variety of beer and cocktails. All of which my drinking friends seem to enjoy. The food is really delicious. I've had their fried pickles (hard to mess those up) and their wings (1/2 hot, 1/2 BBQ) I was impressed w how delicious the wings tasted! When your food is done you actually have to walk up and get it yourself. They typically notify you via text message. Overall it was a great experience. I look forward to trying some more of their food!

Tried most of their foods but hate that they switched the menu on the wings tho. Loved the old wings menu portion, but Now just comes without fries sadly but wings on top for sure. Beers here are decent. Atmosphere is nice for hangout spot and bartenders are chill

I was actually a little nervous going in because certain Chinese dishes tend to upset my stomach, so I tried to avoid some of the heavier noodle and chicken dishes that normally do that to me. Honestly, I think that was the best decision because I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and felt completely fine afterwards. I started with the crab rangoons, which were perfectly creamy on the inside and crispy on the outside -- absolutely delicious. Then I tried the pork-filled bao buns, which was my first time ever having them, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed them too. Everyone else at our table seemed to really enjoy their food as well. I genuinely didn't hear a single complaint. We also ordered some drinks that were delicious, and both our server and the rest of the staff were absolutely fantastic and very welcoming throughout the night. The atmosphere and vibes inside are honestly one of the coolest parts of the experience. It somehow feels like a mix between a brewery, a florist, a bookstore, and a Chinese restaurant all at once. It's such an interesting and unique space that doesn't really feel like anywhere else. Overall, this was a great experience, and I would absolutely come back to try more items on the menu.

I stopped in just a they were opening on a Friday and thank goodness I showed up when I did, this place gets packed quick and you should book a reservation to be on the safe side. I was most excited about the duck egg rolls but ended up being my least favorite not because they were slightly on the dry side. Flavor was good, and the hoisin honey sauce really helped! The seafood dumplings were second best, stuffed full. The soup based was amazing and it also came with some bread for dipping in the leftover sauce. The pork and chive shumai were my favorite! A little bit bigger than bit sized but worth the mouth full! Absolutely would recommend. I'll 100% be back for more food. The bar side looked to be more casual, the dinning room was full of high tea attire so I did feel a little under dressed, thought it would be slightly more casual. They have the cutest library with free books to read but only while you dine in. The flower and book shop are in the middle of the space. Super cute, limited options but great for a last minute bouquet!

The service is always fun and i enjoy the open atmosphere. This Belgian-inspired brasserie continues to be one of my go-to destinations for great food, craft beer, and one of the best Painkillers in town. My must-order dish is always the crispy beer-battered pollock paired with their perfectly seasoned truffle fries. The fish is light, flaky, and fried to golden perfection, but the real star might be their housemade tartar sauce--it's absolutely addictive. A few other standouts from our table included: Savory risotto topped with seared shrimp and blistered tomatoes The NRBC Juicy Burger loaded with onion straws and beer cheese Every dish was packed with flavor, and it's easy to see why this spot remains a local favorite. I've also been to the Durham location, check out the review if you want to know more. Panysaurus over all is a very cool place (either location) but they have drastically different vibes - which in my book is a good thing. The Raleigh location has a smaller footprint and doesn't have the same outdoor patio vibe. The dinning area is a bit small but turn around is quick and there is plenty of space to stand and socialize if you're just there for the beer. I really love Ponysaurus beer, their pilsner is nice but their kolsch is my favorite. The Raleigh location menu has lots to choose from, we had a margarita pizza with pepperoni, hummus and wings. I can't recall what was in the hummus but we practically licked the bowl and the wings were a big hit too - note the Durham menu is a bit scaled down but one thing that's consistent with both locations is the amount of pita that came with the hummus. There is nothing worse than getting a huge bowl of hummus and only a few pieces of hummus or chips. Both locations knocked it out of the park - plenty of WARM pita for everyone. Service was great, we did't wait long and the tables were turned over quickly. We had a 70 degree surprise January day while we were there, so we did just that. We started our brunch with a couple of drinks: a bloody mary and an iced coffee. The bloody mary had a nice kick. Just the right amount of spice without going overboard. The iced coffee was smooth, not bitter at all, and honestly a great pairing if you're not in the mood for booze. To start, we shared the Dill Pickle Pimento Cheese with ripple-cut fries. I'm a sucker for pimento cheese and this one was outstanding. The dill relish gave it a tangy, fresh twist that worked so well with the creamy cheese. Scoop it up with those crispy ripple fries and you're golden. It's a shareable appetizer, but honestly, I'd come back just for that. For my lunch, I had the Chicken Caesar Pita. This isn't your average Caesar wrap. It was tasty, I wasn't expecting the chicken to be pulled, but it was pull juicy, marinated chicken, tons of Tuscan kale for a hearty bite, and generous shavings of parmesan. The charred Caesar dressing brought it all together with that smoky, savory flavor. The pita bread held everything nicely without getting soggy, and the portion was just right: filling, but not overwhelming. Service was super friendly and paced perfectly, not rushed, but never left waiting. Menu options looked creative and inclusive, with plenty for vegetarians and craft beer lovers, too. We had a great experience and I'll definitely be recommending it to friends who are going to Raleigh!
