Realized it was a small business owned by family so I wanted to support them by buying new gear, which they ordered at a discount -- thanks Jenny. Very nice team. Did not use high pressure sales tactics which was a relief. I highly recommend this shop as opposed to chains in the NCR area.

She recommended I come in person to check fit before I order the helmet. She said when I come in to tell them I had an appointment with Jen to ensure she was able to continue our conversation. When I arrived the next day I was greeted at the front door by a salesman (didnt catch his name) who I told that I was there for an appointment with Jen. He found this hilarious and proceeded to make sarcastic remarks about it for the remainder of the time he was with me. This came off as extremely condescending to his coworker Jen who was just trying to ensure I had a good experience. Not a great experience for my first time in your store. Finally, their prices. I wanted to buy this helmet from a cycle shop instead of on a site like Amazon first to support a local business and secondly to ensure that the product I received was legit. Safety equipment like helmets are not something you want to risk. I was a little disappointed when their prices were higher than buying directly from Bell's website. It was only $30 more which isn't a huge deal but I am still a little shocked. Ultimately I would recommend checking this place out but if you do make sure to ask for Jen. The salesman seemed a little too big for his boots and could likely use a lesson in professionalism and maybe a side of humble pie.

I also wanted a second set of eyes to check all my work and inspect everything once in a while, so I dropped my bike off at Fairfax Cycles. The main service I requested was to replace the front fork and exchange the fork and brake oils. I bought the Ohlins fork from Partszilla and dropped it off at the shop. I was missing some other small parts needed, and they were able to order it for me. I had a budget I wanted to stick to, and they were able to work with me to meet my budget and the services I needed. They were very flexible. For the amount of work done on my bike, I'd say the price was fair. The place is very busy all year round, though. Please set your expectations. You'll likely have to wait to get serviced. You'll also need to pick up ASAP. I felt good about all the services performed on the bike. The installed Ohlins fork makes the bike so much better. Will I come back, a definite yes.

Would def come back if I need anything to fix for my bike!

There was a parts problem which necessitated re-ordering of a couple of critical parts. This took nearly 8 months, but was not entirely the dealer's fault. They also covered winter storage after completion. What I find inexcusable is that several light harnesses were cut, and I had to re-manufacture these harnesses. My aftermarket horn was removed, along with the plug-in harness and relay for it. I did get the actual horns back after an angry call and another trip, but not the harness. One of my front factory auxiliary lights had its harness cut. And last (so far, just found today, a month later) the leather tank bra is gone. When I complained to their "customer rep" text, I got "Glad you figured your wiring out and got your horns back." During the process, I received calls from the dealer saying "I have great news, please call back" only to have it be a sales pitch for me to buy a new bike. What makes this difficult is I don't blame the service writers. They were amazing through the whole process. But, this experience made me realize that I just don't want to spend any more money at a dealer chain that doesn't respect my business enough to put things back the way they found them.

After getting the bike home, I immediately noticed major issues -- it now runs terribly, stalls frequently, and the ride is no longer smooth. This was not the case before I brought it in. While I'd like to believe this wasn't intentional, it's hard to ignore the timing. The staff seemed friendly and provided decent customer service, but that doesn't change the fact that my bike went from working perfectly to running poorly right after their service. I will be contacting Ducati Corporation to file a formal complaint. If my concerns are validated, I will have nothing positive to say about Bob's Ducati going forward.

It all started when a friend encouraged me to take a BMW Rider Academy class in South Carolina that Bob's organized and sponsored--getting my friends and me discounts on the class and sending Yale and Amy to represent Bob's there. I wanted to buy an adventure bike after the course, and when I texted Yale on a Saturday night after hours, he surprised me by responding immediately. We ended up talking for over 30 minutes about my riding goals and hopes & dreams, all after work hours! I went into Bob's several days later, and Yale started out by giving me a tour and introducing me to everyone. Much to my surprise, they all already knew who I was, knew I'd be coming, knew I'd been at the course in South Carolina... it just really felt like home... like family. And what's more, because I had told Yale on the phone that my primary concern was seat height, he had already researched seat heights on multiple makes and models (not just BMWs or Ducatis) for me. Over the course of my purchasing experience, I got to know multiple people at Bob's - Yale, Amy, Jim, Lorrie... I could have purchased this bike at any number of dealers... I chose Bob's because I felt like I was home. So the bottom line is that if you want an experience that makes you feel like you're home among family... just call Yale at Bob's Motorcycles for your next new or used bike purchase or trade-in.

Quality Staff, Quality Service!…read more We moved to the Sterling, VA area this past June and since the move, my daughter Celeste has been aching to get another motorcycle. She did her research and was blessed to find MG MotorSports less than 15 minutes for our new home. The crazy thing about her motorcycle journey is that the first time we had ever been in the Sterling area was when we attended our first ever "Finish The Race" gathering at Calvary Temple. At the time we never envisioned living here now. MG Motorsports exemplifies the true sense of community with just how they show their sense of professionalism with their customers. From beginning to end My daughter and I were impressed by the attention to detail in helping my daughter feel confident in her selection. Both Zach and Greg made themselves available for any and all questions and final delivery scheduling. I knew the hand shakes were true and a lasting relationship in this communities motorcycle world was there for her going forward. I strongly recommend to anyone interested in a quality motorcycle purchase to take yourselves to MG MotorSports

Part of the reason I say this is because I know they couldn't have made a lot of money on this sale. Yet every single interaction was a pleasant surprise! When I called about the bike Mike answered all my questions in a straight forward manner. He quickly told me the out the door price, the history and condition of the KLR (even sent me a video of it) reconfirmed that it was ABS, the crash bars and racks were included, they had copies of the service records, only had 780 miles on it. He was patient during the process of me wiring MGMOTORSPORTS the payment. His communication was excellent. He also offered reasonable shipping from VA to OK or agreed to store it a couple weeks until I could pick it up. When it came time to pick it up Mike personally met me at a subway station and drove me to the shop in Sterling. The motorcycle was ready to go and his wife was great with all the paperwork ready. I watched and listened as they dealt with other customers and they were sincerely pleasant with everyone. When it was time to leave, Mike and an employee checked the fluids, tire pressure, ect, one last time in front of me. We shook hands, he had an employee lead me in a company truck out Sterling to the main road headed west so I wouldn't get lost. Every couple of days as I leisurely rode back home to Oklahoma Mike would text me to make sure everything was good and askif I had any questions. I know this long winded, but for once something that seemed too good to be true, WAS TRUE@ My email is rsnowder@gmail.com and I will gladly answer any questions about my experience with MGMOTORSPORTS!
