    I love this place! The hoagies and so fresh and the staff is really friendly and helpful! Make sure to try the dirt pudding, it's so good.

    The hoagie was horrible I couldn't eat a quarter of it Never ever again and that's all I have say don't do it you'll be sorry trust me

They serve a delicious homemade bread that's warm when it's brought the table. In addition, it's accompanied by a dish of olive oil, with balsamic vinegar and what I believed to be a spicy dusting of pepper. It was a little too spicy for me - however, I did like the addition of the balsamic as a change from just olive oil. I would skip the pepper though, unless you like spice. We ordered the Polpette as an appetizer; it's a 'tradition' of mine. If meatballs are on the menu, I will always order them. These lamb, veal and beef meatballs were very good, and the marinara sauce they came in was excellent! The sauce is actually a 'roasted pomodoro' gravy - which is an 'intensified' version of a classic Italian sauce. It's made by roasting the tomatoes at a very high heat and almost caramelizing them. A little feta was added to the sauce, which really highlighted those meatballs!! We split the order - as 5 meatballs is quite a large appetizer! We decided to share two entrees - the Beef Short Ribs and the Lobster Ravioli. I always ask if the short ribs are lean - our server responded they were very lean...and they were. Soft, tender and very flavorful large chunks of beef, with a deliciously rich gravy with mushrooms on a bed a creamy garlic mashed potatoes! It was a superb dish! The website said the Short Ribs were the restaurant's most popular meal. Next, the Lobster Ravioli. The dish was a very 'delicate' one, with a very subtle brandy cream sauce. It had chopped jumbo shrimp and peeled cherry tomatoes with the raviolis. While the sauce tasted fine, it needed 'something' - we added pepper which helped. The raviolis were good - we couldn't taste lobster in the cheese of the raviolis - we assumed it was there. The chopped shrimps though provided a nice additional seafood flavor. I like my raviolis tender - the kind that almost melt in your mouth. The pasta here was firmer - a little more 'al dente', but it was fine. We ended our meal with the Chocolate Mousse. Served in a martini glass, the mousse had a velvety texture with a deep dark chocolate flavor. It was very rich yet light and fluffy; a good choice for dessert!

I'll be honest and say I would be embarrassed to serve that to any customer. For my main course, I had the lamb dish. It was decent but the amount of lamb compared to the massive mound of photos and greens was not enough. Plus, the dish promised a demi-glaze that was almost not present at all making whole dish eat dry. With more lamb and sauce the dish would have been pretty good. For desert, I ordered the crème brûlée. It was ok, but was somewhat flavorless. The drink I ordered was good and came in a very unique martini glass that kept the drink cold. Overall, I will say I was disappointed in the food here. I wasn't expecting 5 stars, I was expecting a decent hometown restaurant meal. What I got was somewhat below that. I can't say I will never be back, but it definitely won't be anywhere near the top of my radar.

However you had to choose the sauce for an additional $3.95. Also I got mushrooms for $1. I order garlic knots for 50 cents but they gave me a loaf of garlic bread which was burnt for an additional $5.00. My bill was over $31 and there was no chicken on the chicken alfredo. I called then to advise all these mistakes. They offered to remake it and/or adjust my bill when I came into the store again. ???? They told me they had new staff who was not sure how to enter my order. They have lots to improve upon. I don't live in that area but my son does. I won't be going back regardless. Also by the way the cheesesteak was $21.95 which is a lot for a cheesesteak. I hope they figure out their business.
