While it's a small store, the owner is quite friendly. Clothes aren't too bad, though they do have some stuff from target and fashion nova.

HG Thrift store is in a little shopping center with not much parking. The ambience is of an older thrift store. The store is small, it feels a little crammed and crowded. To my surprise, there was a lot of large furniture pieces, for such a small store. The store was very dusty and slightly dirty. Awesome place! yes it is small , but you can find good stuff from time to time. We just moved out and were looking to furnish our apartment (on a budget)! the lady gave us a sweet deal on a nice wood couch. We only paid 130 for a full couch set !! very good quality. Stainless steel microwave for 15!! Way better than the Cypress swap meet where some dude tried to sell me a plastic couch for 400 and a microwave for 70! I always come to this store to donate gently used items. I have three daughters who always grow out of their clothes fast. The owner is very very nice and sweet. She will Even come By and pick up the items if I have a lot of bags or boxes. They have excellent employees there that always go above and beyond to help you with your donation or your purchase. The business seems very family Oriented and is very welcoming to all. This is an excellent place to look for gently used items or to donate gently used items. It was my lucky day cause the Tia running the store told me all clothing was 50%. This was great since the store prices their items based on style: sweater, pants, jeans, tops. NOT by name brand like Goodwill or Salvation Army. So I ended up paying $1.00 for Old Navy tops and $2.00 Billabong and Volcom hoodies. ALL their clothing is in good shape. I didn't pick up a single item that had stains or rips in it. This neighborhood thrift store is definitely a hidden gem.. you've probably even missed it driving down the street. It is small upon entering inside but turn right and there's more racks of clothing and shelves of goodies. Defiantly coming back this place is great! I was greeted on the walk in and they had so much clothes to offer at so cheep!! I got 2 purses and 5 pieces of clothes for only 10 dollars!!! I was literally scared by how well prepared the staff was to receive my donation. (That's a good thing) I was greeted with wiiiiide open arms and the biggest smile I saw all day. I didn't go further than the register, so lemme tell you what I saw from there! Random goodies, seriously- I saw trophies haha! There's furniture, lots of clothing, the selection appeared extensive. Been scouring a few thrift shops around Cypress during my lunch break for an ugly Christmas sweater party and visited this store due to the high Yelp ratings. I was very surprised on how organized and clean the store was, and the 2 ladies that were there today were very nice! I normally don't go to thrift stores but I ended up purchasing 5 nice, clean, almost-new condition brand name sweaters (even a cashmere one) & cardigans for total of $8.50. My best find is a lambswool and angora sweater for $7. Say what?!? Totally amazing prices! I almost didn't want to review the store because I don't want other people to find out but I'm definitely coming back. read more

Just left this store. First off from the other reviews I guess I was expecting more. Not one employee greeted me when I walked in and I was the only customer in the store. One of the ladies was on a personal call. No big deal since it was slow but after she hung up she didn't acknowledge me she just stared out the window. They had a lot of random stuff but nothing name brand. Prices are decent. No need for me to come back though. read more

This place is pretty alright, however I feel the cashier was being a bit rude, like she seemed as though she wanted to get done with customers asap, I guess you can say she not exactly a patient person. But they have alot of things, price varies on items some items are over priced other items are total steals. They also have sales every now and then, wether it's tags of a certain color for 50% or all clothes are 50% on a certain day which is cool, most shirts are 3$ so 50% off makes them $1.50 . In the end of the day it's a thrift store so you never know what you'll find. Another thing is some items didn't have the price on them so when you asked one of the workers for the price they would either ask eachothers or have to call someone on the phone to get the price which can be annoying. So I'll give this a 3.5/5 stars. read more

This store has a lot of great and unique items. I saw an adorable antique hand made miniature boat. Lots name brand clothes at very low prices. They also have a plethora of purses that can be for many styles. I definitely recommend this store. A little hidden gem in OC. read more
