I'm not a coffee drinker but could've easily taken back much more than their small. My sister go the Mexican Chocolate Coffee. Both were amazing. First time here and I went through the drive thru. I always wanted to try it, but every time I come through this location the drive thru is always packed and busy. This time, I decided to just go ahead and give it a try. The drive thru line definitely takes a while and I think it's because they're very popular. I saw that they offer some different flavors of lattes and teas. They also have food and pastries, breakfast burritos, which I'd like to try on a different day. They offer these Latte freezes, which you can choose from their latte menu of the flavors as ice blended. This time around, I tried the Biscochito Latte Freeze and a hot honey lavender latte. The Biscochito freeze was really sweet, but refreshing since it was a hot day. As for the honey lavender latte, maybe I'll try that as a freeze next time too. That was sweet as well. I love the coffee from here, but the service is like molasses in winter (very....slow) I came by today (10/3/24) for a large iced Adobe Morning Latte on my way to work. With 4 cars in front of me, I waited approximately 15 minutes in the drive thru. Having been a barista in the past and being a lifelong service industry worker, I know there is always a morning rush, so I fully expected a bit of a wait. When I finally got to the window, the young woman repeated an order to me that wasn't mine. I let her know what I ordered and she said, "Umm. Ok. Hang on." And closed the window. A young man (manager on duty) then came to the window and had to retake my order. I paid and waited several more minutes. He then handed me 2 small cups and said "Our large doesn't fit in a large cup. So here's these." Very strange. I love supporting local, but I just don't see a reason to go back with long wait times and the bizarre experience. read more

I love New Mexico Pinon Coffee and have been ordering it to be delivered to my home for a couple years now. So it was about time I visited one of their coffee shops. I ordered the specialty drink that was advertised in weekly emails and on a sign on the counter. I will be honest and tell you I can't remember exactly what it was....but I am very suggestible. I got it hot, and it was very very very hot. I ended up asking for a cup of ice just to make my drink sipping temperature. But hey....it means it won't get tepid too fast! It was also a little less sweet than I might have preferred, but that is an easily fixable problem with some sweetener! Good coffee, good service, cute space. I would be glad to return here on a visit back to ABQ. Until then, I'll keep having their ground coffee sent to my house for in-home enjoyment! read more

We were in town visiting family, and they recommended this place. This place has a nice, chill vibe, and a overall cool place. The cashier was very nice, and there were no waiters, as a coffee shop should be. My family that lives here recommended it, saying it was the best coffee shop in town, and it didn't disappoint! I tried some of everyone's drinks, including mine, and everything was amazing! The scone and bear claw were amazing as well. The filling in the bear claw was my favourite part. I normally LOVE this shop and frequent it often. However, today was a disaster. After ordering 2 16 ounce hot lattes in the drive-through we we get to have a 20 minute wait. Once at the window, she tells us they don't do hot drinks in 16 ounces and so they made them cold. When we said we wanted hot drinks, she said that they don't have any lids for their hot cups. We can get the iced drinks or we can get drinks without lids. It's December 6 at 10:30 in the morning!?? How do you run out of lids for your hot cups? We opted for hot and the biscochito was simply a latte and the Mexican spiced was super sweet. Not your best work!! read more

I have always been a fan of the piñon coffee but having a location close to home is such a treat! My parents had never tried it before except for the brew at home options so it has been really fun to bring them through the drive thru to try their expertly brewed flavored coffee. My mom is obsessed with the biscochito coffee! I've recently tried the honey lavender and pistachio lattes. They are nothing like any other lattes I've ever had and I highly recommend them! They are extremely flavorful without being too sweet or hiding the flavor of the espresso. They are excellently balanced lattes as opposed to cream, coffee, and flavor dumps. read more

Went during the grand opening and it was just "meh." I'm sure I'll go back to update this once they've gotten a handle on things and I go back. The location is where a Starbucks used to be. The cafe is well decorated and comfortable. There were several people hanging out visiting. They also have many souvenirs and coffees for purchase. Anyway, I ordered two iced coffees-- no sweetener, no cream, nothing else (it wasn't offered by the cashier anyway.) They lost half of my order and only made one of them but I told them I had ordered two and after a minute or two of looking around for the ticket and asking me if other drinks were mine they agreed to make me another. The barista grabbed a cup with her finger on the inside of the cup which really turned me off. They handed it out and it had no ice-- they obviously pour hot coffee over ice which had melted. I asked the barista if she could add more ice knowing I was risking her touching the ice cubes, the inside of my lid, etc. with her bare hands again. By the time I got back to work (15 minutes away) to give the coffee to my coworker all the ice had melted so I didn't give it to her at all. Hope they iron out the kinks soon because their coffee is good! read more

I am so so sad to leave this review. I really wanted to like this place. I drove close to 20 minutes to come here and I did because of all of the reviews. The aesthetic of the place itself is a 10 out of 10. I love all the plants that they have and I think it's funny how they name all of them. I got a hot chai tea latte and a banana nut scone. The coffee was so hot it took almost 30 minutes until I could even sip it. Reminded me of the McDonald's lawsuit with how hot their coffee is and the lady got burned from it. It tasted watered down to me as well when I finally could drink it. The scone was terrible to put it nicely. I'm not totally writing this place off but I was very disappointed. read more

New location! Super happy that it's close to my house so I can grab some delicious coffee on my way to school. I tried the Maple Walnut today and oh boy was it scrumptious! It taste similar to a caramel macchiato, but better. The interior is cute and roomy. There are lots of tables outside and some outside. Perfect environment for me to study in without extremely loud music. Theres live music and so today I listen to a buy play in his guitar. It was beautiful and relaxing. They open till 6pm and not 4pm. The staff was also helpful and friendly when they took my order. This burrito is HUGE! ITS OVER A POUND! AND A TON OF BACON! But let's talk about this drink. Whether hot or cold, it is amazing ( I've had it both ways.) It is probably my favorite. I've also had the lavender coffee. And it is really good. And I don't even like lavender. Service is great and friendly. They are all wearing masks, and sanitary. They are much faster than a Starbucks any day and definitely much better flavors. The things they make don't come out of a plastic package and go into the microwave. THEY MAKE THEM, fresh. I've been going to Pinon for a decent amount of time and I usually order the iced dirty chai with oat milk or the mi amor latte with oatmilk and they are always amazing. The lavender latte is quite delicious as well. The staff is always so friendly! I wanted to write this review because I've noticed that they have started making iced coffees with actual coffee ice cubes so the drink doesn't get watered down! Even during a pandemic I'll make time to visit one of my favorite locations while visiting The area. I first discovered this coffee shop a couple of years ago and was taken aback by the unique blends that I found. Biscochito has become my go to blend but certainly Adobe is a close second. Their service has been impeccable and I always enjoy the banter that I present being met with cool vibes from the staff. I enjoyed it the very first time. The guy at drive up was awesome (I can't remember his name) I haven't seen him since then. My second visit I received the wrong drink. Third time they charged their own tip (Be cautious. I did get a refund & a free drink). Fourth time they gave me wrong size. What they did was pour it into the large cup and fill it up cream.
