Hey Yelpers. I have used Hi End for my Auto needs for the last year. I have had a remote starter installed (via their living social deal). I was fully informed of all pricing and even googled other shops in the area for price comparison. Hi End was $20-$30 cheaper then the rest and they use Viper products not the generic remote starters. They have been the driving force behind my trucks transformation. They made me a custom Grille, lifted my suspension as well as installed sport shocks to help absorb the bounce a truck has with Boston potholes. They armor lined the bed of my truck and went out of their way to find me the best deal on rims and tires. I honestly love this shop, The guys are very easy going and easy to joke with. I recommend this place to everyone. I have several friends who went there for tints etc. Everyone seems happy so far. read more

A friend referred me here to get my car detailed. Basically, my 5-year-old Audi looks brand new for $300 (included interior, wheels, lights, scratch blending, polish, buff, two coats of wax and some kind of RainX-like coating that makes water not stick to the car). I went in for a quote and they took my car in the next day. It's a little shop, out in the burbs, staffed by good people. Don't expect a corporate, button-down kind of experience here. I was searching for my wife's Christmas gift and got an idea. How about having a remote starter installed so she doesn't freeze her @$$ off this winter. I found Hi-End Customs on Yelp and gave them a call. It was a few minutes past noon on a Wednesday so I figured no one would answer. Alex, the owner, picked up the phone and gave me an accurate quote to install the starter. I asked him if he could do it on Saturday. He asked if I could leave the car with him at 9:00. He arrived a few minutes past 9:00 and explained to me what I would get for the $250 quoted. There was a slightly better model with an extended range remote and a lifetime warranty for an additional $75. I went with the "adequate" model. Alex told me the car would be ready early to mid-afternoon on Saturday. His assistant called at 3:30 to let me know. Alex ran me through the operation of the remote and handed me the keys. The charge? Exactly what he quoted. I asked him about detailing the same car at a later date and he quoted me for that work, which I will consider. I highly recommend Hi End Customs, at least for a remote starter and the straight-shooting owner, Alex. BTW, the remote starter works flawlessly. Wife loves it! read more

I WOULD NOT recommend this place to even my worst enemy. I got these fog lights installed 8 months ago from hi end customs (or so they call themselves) I went today to get work done on my car elsewhere and they called me asking who installed my fog lights saying I needed to fix them because of rust on the plugs & wires being exposed so they were all coroted. If you look at the picture below the lights are pink and blue lines on them which means they are two different colors! It was my mistake to bring my car there, cheaper isn't always better, in this case you get what you pay for but I will be taking him to court after Alex telling me he wouldn't give me a refund. read more

Buyer beware! My boyfriend got his windows tinted here -- front and back -- and they recommended going with the legal limit, 35. He took their professional advice, and as soon as he got the finished product he thought it was too light. The quality was okay, some bubbles in the back windows but nothing out of the ordinary. They did a clean job on the rest. After living with it for two weeks, my boyfriend brought it to another shop where they put the meter on the window and it showed up that the tint put on the windows was actually 40! Just to be clear, he both saw AND took a picture of the meter showing 40 tint. That explains why it was so light. He contacted Hi End, who told him to bring his car back so they could redo it for him. He brings his car back, leaves it for two days, and on the second day is told that "the other guy's meter is wrong", that they won't redo it, and basically he's S.O.L. Unbelievable that a company wouldn't stand behind their work or their product when it is so clearly not what was promised, and certainly not what was ordered! Despite the fact that he had clear photographs of the meter on the glass showing 40, they claim that the meter is "wrong"; magically, of course, theirs is correct. You can see in other reviews that when these guys are called out, they bail. As long as you're happy, they're happy, but as soon as you have a problem, you're on your own. I bought a groupon for this place to detail my car prior to trading it in. The backseat had spilled RED juice and my dog stained everything. honestly I only created a yelp account because I like these guys.They have installed my Viper car starter, my back up camera, and will be installing my subwoofers. Before going to Hi End, I called local areas and compared prices, and I swear some prices I was hearing made me tear up (of laughter). Bad, bad experience with this business. What else more can I say than Alex, probably the owner... called me "a piece of shit" and "stupid"??... I mean, come on! This is how you make business? I have bought their Groupon voucher, to clean up my car, since I was having an end of the lease coming up. I called to make an appointment, but some grumpy guy said they're all booked up by the end of May! More than 30 days ahead. I have called Groupon and they said to try and settle this with them. I send them a message and kindly suggested to try and fit me in, since I really needed this service asap and I don't necessarily wanted my money back. The "Alex" guy gives me a number to call. Which I did - got yelled at, called names and threatened with an attorney because I am pushing them to servicing me. I got a Living Social voucher for detailing service. You should know that I'm a dedicated car owner...I love my car and keep it in great condition. Now it's time for the exciting stuff...the review. When I called to schedule the appointment, the girl I spoke to was very nice, so I was excited that I might be finding my new car detailing place. My appointment was made for 9am on a Thursday and I was told it takes about 4 hours. Now the issues begin. When I went to the shop at 9:02am, no one was to be found. The door was closed and locked. I asked an auto body shop next door if they knew where the staff were and was told they usually arrive around 9:15am. I then waited for another 20 minutes when finally someone showed up. I had left work to drop my car off and being that the shop was only a few minutes away from my office and I had called and scheduled this appointment for 9am, I assumed I would be in and out in minutes. Boy was I wrong! When the male associate arrived, he didn't say one word about being late, didn't even greet me and didn't offer an apology or explanation and seemed annoyed that I was interrupting his morning iced coffee. He was over 20 minutes late, but managed to get an enormous coffee from Honey Dew donuts on his way in. The associate even confirmed that I was dropping off for my 9am appointment and again completely ignored the fact that he was late and kept me waiting! I just can't believe the lack of professionalism and customer service from so many companies these days. I should have turned around right then, but being that I already paid for my voucher and wasted my time waiting, I decided to leave my car and was hopeful about the service. However, that too was disappointing. I was told that my car would take about 4 hours. Even though I know the work did not start at 9am, as it should have, it should have been ready no later than 2pm. However, when I called at 3pm I was told it would be another hour at least. Again, this shows me that they didn't actually start the detail work on my car even remotely close to the appointment time. They also never called to let me know the service would take much longer than expected. When I went to pick up my car at 5:30pm the girl who had done the work was very friendly. I didn't want to punish her by giving a tiny tip, so I tipped her very well, as the car looked nice on my quick once over (I could not take the time to look it over as the company was closing and it was now rush hour, which was their fault for keeping my car for 8 hours). However, after looking at my car later on, it was evident the work done was not great. The windshield had streaks all over inside...I actually had to clean it because it was so bad. Also, I found loads of dust on the heads of the back seats....clearly they did not clean back there. Mind you, my car was actually very clean when I brought it in. I just wanted to get it sparkling. I don't know if they just didn't try hard because my car already looked pretty nice or if they just don't pay attention when they work. From the reviews on here, it sounds like other people who brought their cars in had specific stains or lots of obvious dirtiness (pet fur, etc.). I guess because my car was in pretty good shape to begin with, they just didn't put too much effort in. I also have the distinct feeling that my car was probably not even worked on until late that day and definitely did not get 4 hours of work (maybe 1-2 hours max). Considering they kept my car all day (double the time it was supposed to take), I would at least expect them to get the back seats. Extremely disappointed and would not recommend them. Amazingly unprofessional, starting with them coming in late and not even recognizing that fact. To their staff I will say this. Ignoring the fact that you are late and not saying a word about it, does not mean it didn't happen. It still happened that you were over 20 minutes late, even if you don't want to admit it out loud. Also, if employees are always at least 15 minutes, as I was informed by the shop next door, then stop scheduling appointments first thing in the morning. Schedule them an hour after your "opening" time, so you don't leave customers waiting while you take your time getting your coffee. I would have loved to get a coffee or relaxed for 20 minutes, but instead I spent that time standing at a door, waiting for staff to arrive. Time lost forever in the abyss of poor customer service. Those who are trying to come at my neck. I received a flat tire that they caused out side of their shop. Due to a razor at the end of THEIR drive way. Of course they tried to fix it but again it wasn't no help because you couldn't fix that without the proper equipment. And again they NEVER fixed my windshield wipers that THEY caused. read more

This place is great. Called up to get an express detail done before selling my car. Quick and clean, also took tint off for only $15 a window. I had called many times and had to reschedule because I didn't have transportation to and from the detailing spot, finally they offered to drive me home and pick me up! Did an awesome job on my tints. Was quoted about 2 hour wait and was done within an hour. Definitely not a rush job. No bubbles and sealed perfectly. You can tell they pay attention to detail because they clean up your car when they're done. Will definitely be back for custom lights & a wrap. I went to high end customs today to get my car detailed.i had bought the deal from Amazon local.my husband took the day off from work to bring me and we got a babysitter to stay with my two young kids.we had an appointment at 10.when we arrived there was no one there and we waited to 10:45 before seeing anyone.when we finally got in touch with someone around 10:30 we were told there had been an emergency.which I understand but come on I am positive there were other employees you could of called to come meet us or a simple phone call letting us know would of been great!i am a mother and work and don't have a lot of time.also we were coming from about 45 min away and couldn't just come back later.then upon picking up my car I was disappointed because there were still a lot of stains in the interior.i definitely will not be back and would strongly recommend to think twice before going here. read more
