During that time, my coffee never came, and no one checked on our table. When the food finally arrived, my order was wrong. I received toast instead of biscuits and bacon instead of sausage. Lauren apologized and said she would bring the correct items, but they didn't arrive until we had already finished eating. To make matters worse, when I asked to speak with the manager, no manager could be found. I understand that restaurants can get busy, and I'm usually very patient. As I observed the room, the tables around us were getting really attentive service. Refills galore, conversation... I got up, walked past all the servers and went to the counter where I got my first cup of coffee.
