Great food awesome service friendly waitstaff one of my go to places in Navasota will definitely have my repeat business

The outside of the restaurant looked so beautiful that we just had to stop in, and I'm so glad we did! The staff seated us super quickly, and our server was incredibly nice and welcoming. The inside was really pretty and cozy, and for a Sunday afternoon it had the perfect amount of people -- lively but not too crowded. We were greeted with warm, homemade bread and it was AMAZING -- honestly so fresh and delicious. My mom ordered the chicken piccata and thought it was okay, but my sister got the cheese pizza and wow, it looked so good and was beautifully served. She said it tasted just as good as it looked! I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and it was absolutely delicious -- full of flavor and super satisfying. Everything about our experience was great, from the food to the atmosphere, and even the bathrooms were very clean. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back again! read more

Great little place hidden of the main road, take a table or booth and be greeted with fresh warm buttery garlic bread! Order an appetizer to start off and work your way to the main dish. Great waitress service and always keeps your drink full and check up on your table for more garlic bread. Tried various dishes and will certainly return Came in on a Friday during lent but options were available (no meat). Outstanding place! read more

The place smelled just right upon entry. The server was gracious and informative about the menu. It's always nice when they can have an opinion to help steer you to just the right selection for you off the menu. Overall rating 9/10 for chicken parm, lasagna, fettuccine alfredo combo. Lasagna lacked the traditional layer of noodles but not a detriment resulting in a high meat to pasta ratio. Chicken Parm a little salty but not overly so. Tender chicken and surprisingly good red sauce. The Alfredo perfect. Great, huge, hot, oversized garlic glazed, rolls with real butter. Loved the red and white checkered table cloths, Italian music on the radio, the service and the food. Can't wait to further explore the menu. Worth the drive there any night. This place is a hidden gem in Navasota (I almost hate to share it--it might get too popular to snag a table!). The Alfredo sauce is made in-house and absolutely fantastic. Portions are generous, so you definitely won't leave hungry. We had the lasagna and the Madomia, and for dessert, the Limoncello mascarpone--everything was delicious. This place isn't good. Their Philly cheesesteak is completely filled with peppers. I felt like I was grazing eating that thing. The Philly steak pizza might've been okay but we specifically asked for sun dried tomatoes. They put on chunks of freshly sliced... also, they had the most ghastly looking chicken piccata I've ever seen. If you cook Italian, do it the right way. We couldn't keep our hands off the food long enough to take the photo it was so good. We've eaten at the chain restaurant "Joe's" and it wasn't good at all; we don't know if this place is part of that. However we all agreed that the crust of the pizza was really good. The toppings and the sauce we alright. The Greek salad was really good and fresh real cheese and all of meals. They are also amendable to modifications to the menu. The prices aren't outrageous. At first we had mixed reviews on wait staff, then a young man showed he was quite nice and hard-working. The atmosphere was very nice like ma & pa Italian restaurant very cozy. The place was so good!! The thin crust pizza was just right and crunchy. The way a pizza should be in my opinion. I've had pizza in so many parts of the country and I was happily surprised how good it was in this small town. I'm definitely going back!! Our server was always on standby and was very attentive. Was in town visiting the in laws and gave this place a try. Service was excellent and food was great. Prices were reasonable (~$110 for 5adults and 3kids). Portions were pretty big too, basically everyone had a 2go. Wife and FIL got calzones they were good, stuffed with ricotta cheese - wife did say she wished she had added pepperoni to it (forgot which kind she got). MIL got the fettuccine Alfredo it looked ok I didn't try (she said she liked it). Can't remember what Gma got but looked good too and she liked as well. Kids got cheese pizzas they were awesome - makes me want to go back and get other pizzas. I got the A La Casa with shrimp it was excellent (if you like mushrooms & onions). Only gripe I had was I wasn't big on their house Italian dressing, was redish/pink in color - wasn't bad but not for me. Luckily they serve dressing for their salad on the side and was able to switch to blue cheese which was good. Will def be going back next time we're in town. Ooh and almost forgot to mention the rolls they bring out... my daughter must have ate a whole basket herself haha was definitely a fan. Go give it a try :) read more

When they first opened the food was excellent. As time goes by things are not as good. I just order two large pies. One cheese and one pepperoni pizza with extra cheese one both. There was 8 pieces if pepperoni not much cheese. The crust was so thin that when you tried to fold the slice it cracked apart in the middle and fell apart. The crust was hard. I was happy when they opened it was great. Not anymore. 37.00 for pizza i could have got at a grocery store for under 5.00. Ill never go there again.​ read more

This place is a genuine hidden gem. It's a small place with homey, checked tablecloths and you can smell a wonderful baking bread and fresh coffee aroma when you walk in. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food was outstanding. We tried pizza, a sub, and two different types of pasta and everything hit just right. The pace of the service was perfect, and we were absolutely satisfied with every aspect of our experience. We are SO very happy to have Joe's Italian here in Navasota. The food is delicious, portion sizes are generous, prices are reasonable, and the service is excellent. My husband and I have dined here several times, and I have come with my church's ladies group as well. Today we are doing carry out for lunch. Quaint Mom'n Pop Italian place! Staff is friendly and attentive! Food was amazing! I had the cheese ravioli! Came out piping hot! Pasta was tender and the filling was creamy and rich! My hubs had the combination: fettuccine Alfredo, lasagna and chicken Parmesan. Our fave- the fettuccine. Hands down-delicious! Creamy, buttery, and cheesy.we drove from College Station, and totally worth the drive! Their bread rolls are fresh and warm! Chewy on the inside,but crusty on the outside! OK let me caveat this - the owner is great and friendly. I want to give them more chances. I will update this hopefully to a 4 in the future. If you like Italian and you are in Navasota this is definitely the place - their menu is large, the free rolls are nice, and great service. The three stars is simply because I got the sampler and it was "ok". They do have pizzas which I will order next time. I will let you know how it goes. Dessert was decent. This is a small quaint restaurant decorated perfectly for its Italian atmosphere and their delicious food! We took our daughter's family there for dinner. Our 3 year old granddaughter gobbled up 2 rolls along with the children's spaghetti and meatballs. We LOVED the rolls which are hard to stop eating! I had 3 rolls and their eggplant Parmesan which was excellent. My husband also ate too many rolls with his order of shrimp and mushrooms smothered with their Alfred sauce. He loved his food! Both our daughter and her husband enjoyed the lobster ravioli and a trio sampling of pastas. Can't wait to go back to try more of their menu.
