My food was never delivered. After 20 minutes, I first went to the cash/register/bar to check, then the woman there, told me, the food is still at the kitchen and it takes time to prepare that order (even if it was just one chicken tender order). She told me to wait more.
Then after 40 minutes, I went to check again, and mentioned that I still didn't receive order. I mentioned that I can rather stand there at the bar/cash/register and wait for my food there, since it seems like there might be some confusion. I requested to hand me over the food directly I also mentioned that I didn't change my area (I was seated on the floor at the front to watch the game and used a nearby table number. That's how this place ask the customer to do it. And I also mentioned it the first time I went to them). But saw their waiter to move around tables. I wasn't sure if they actually moved tables. Since all tables look the same and there's no way for me to know all servers, since not all of them were wearing the same cloth. I still suspected that, and informed them about it. That time, the woman at the bar requested me to wait as she mentioned she will inform the manager (Sam). She asked me to wait at the bar, and I kept waiting. After another 10 minutes and me standing and waiting at the bar, I checked again. Then she told me to go back to my area and check again now, since the food is just now served. I went back to check again, and my food wasn't there. I right away went back to the bar area again, and shared that the food wasn't still there and asked again just to give me the food there.
After more than an hour wait and after checking with them many times in between, their manager, Sam, (very very aggressive and rude) refunded me only the food amount, but not the tax and tips, without asking me about how would I want to go about it. If I want my food, if I want a refund. Absolutely nothing. He didn't even apologize. His attitude was as if he's doing me a favor, and as if it's my fault. So this place basically took my money without the food, and partially refunded me. I came here for a good time, but had to leave with a super bitter experience. I also had to leave super hungry, since I didn't get my dinner. Also couldn't focus on the game as I had to spend all my time, energy and attention on tracking/locating my food, which I also didn't get.
Morning after: I've now realized that the manager Sam never actually refunded me my money. What he did very cunningly is he created a fake refund receipt for me which is not an actual refund, and that's why it's not the actual amount I paid (with tax), but just the total amount of the item I ordered. Anyone who has received refunds will know how refund works. It automatically sent the total amount you paid back to your payment method (card). In this case, the refund is less than the total because he just created a receipt of refunding the item I ordered, and sent me a text of that, but have not actually refunded anything to my payment method. That's why he never asked me anything about me. Neither needed to spend any time to find my transaction. That's why the fake receipt he created, doesn't show my card number. This is literally cheating a customer. I also checked with my bank, and they also confirmed no refund was paid. But they can see the money gone from my account to that business (with their name).
When I wrote a google review, they also responded fakely on that. Describing the occurrence very differently than what actually happened. On their google review response, they shared the food was delivered after 20 minutes, which is a lie. Since after 20 minutes, when I first went to the bar to ask about my order, they shared that the food is still in their kitchen and asked me to wait more. In their response to my google review, they also shared, multiple servers confirmed that the food was delivered. But no other serve had any clue about my food. Only the manager Sam said my food was delivered. I've asked several other servers whoever was serving on the floor, but nobody could say anything. Secondly, the explanation they gave amount only refunding the item amount, not the tax amount is complete crap. Because refund doesn't work that way, when a business actually cancel a specific transaction and refund that fully.
