I went in on a Friday afternoon and it was busy inside. I thought there wouldn't be a lot of people because the small parking lot had a good amount of spots left, but there were lines at the cash register. It was pretty clean inside and didn't have much of a funky smell except for when you're near the papaya salad station, which is normal because of the ingredients used. A few people ordered big party trays of the papaya salad because it's that good. The workers in the back were constantly shredding more papaya. There were a few orders ahead of us and only 2 workers mixing it up at the mortar and pestle, so it took about 20 minutes for our bag of papaya salad to be prepared. It was worth the wait because the papaya salad was delicious and portions are great. The lady at the front was friendly and looked like she enjoys making papaya salad. Next time I'll get it with 3 peppers instead of 2 for a more spicy kick.

Except for very last time June 2026. We bought an item in-store around $85 on June 15th. Staff was so friendly and helpful "went above beyond to help us find the size we asked for". Everything was done quickly and as expected. Then on June 29th 2026 we came back to return it because the size is not match to the one we already have at restaurant. Product's never used. "At the time we walked in the store. Staff welcomed us immediately. The right hand side cashier from the entrance, the guy took care of us. After knowing that we came just to return the product. He checked the paper receipt promptly . Without asking for anything else he just said "oh this one is purchased with cashier named "J...". He moved us to "J.." counter and asked us just wait there. Around 5 - 7 mins later, store is very quiet. At 2:55pm only us and another one customer in store with 5-6 staff went around counter, aisles. We were still standing there in front of "J..." counter. The man took care of us in the beginning, made loudspeaker announcement to look for "J..." at the back of store then he also disappeared. We still kept waiting in front of counter. 10 mins passed, no sign of "J..." 's appearance. We almost quit, one of us decided to go home and come back in another day. The cashier / customer service lady from the other side of store came and offered help. She moved us to her counter. At this moment only she said: next time when we wanted to returned anything. Just come to her counter. The other side with sell associates when we have some other issues or questions about items. She done the returned very quickly just in 3 mins. I would like to share my experience with the Costco Business Center on El Camino Avenue because…read morethis has become a repeated and frustrating issue for us. We own and operate a small business and come to this Costco Business Center approximately once a week to purchase supplies. The drive is already a significant commitment for us--about an hour each way with traffic--so we specifically choose this location because it is convenient for our business purchasing needs. Unfortunately, whenever we need to request a price adjustment, we consistently feel like we are given a hard time. Instead of having a simple and straightforward process, there always seems to be a different reason or excuse as to why the adjustment cannot be made. What makes this especially frustrating is that we are not asking for anything unusual or unreasonable. We are simply expecting the same level of customer service and consistency that we receive at regular Costco warehouses. We shop at regular Costco locations as well, and we have not experienced the same problems when requesting price adjustments there. The process is usually much easier and the employees are willing to help rather than making the customer feel like they are creating a problem. The biggest issue, in my opinion, is not even the individual price adjustment itself. It is the way the situation is handled by management. When we bring these concerns to management, we often feel like there is no real solution or willingness to resolve the underlying problem. We are given explanations, but the same issue happens again the next time we visit. If management is aware that customers are repeatedly having the same problem, there should be a clear and consistent solution instead of simply explaining why something cannot be done. As a small business customer, our purchases are important to us. We spend significant amounts of money on supplies, and we make the long drive to this location on a regular basis. We should not feel uncomfortable or unwelcome when asking a legitimate question about pricing or requesting an adjustment that we believe should be handled according to Costco's policy. I would really like management to look into this issue seriously. I would appreciate a clear explanation of the actual price-adjustment policy at the Costco Business Center and why it appears to be handled differently here compared with regular Costco warehouses. If there is a specific policy for Business Centers that is different, customers should be clearly informed of that policy instead of receiving different explanations depending on which employee or manager we speak with. More importantly, I would like to see an actual solution. Repeatedly telling customers why something cannot be done without addressing the underlying customer-service issue does not solve the problem. We have been loyal Costco customers and want to continue shopping with Costco for our business. However, the experience at this particular Business Center has become frustrating enough that we feel the need to bring it to management's attention. We hope someone at a higher management level can review how price adjustments are being handled at this location and make sure the policy is applied consistently and fairly. We are not looking for special treatment. We simply want consistent customer service, clear communication, and a reasonable solution when there is a legitimate pricing concern. I hope management will take this feedback seriously and, rather than providing another explanation, work toward a consistent solution for business customers who regularly shop at this location.
