Located in the Mililani Shopping Center next to old Blazing Steaks is this HI Sliders food truck. I was thought it was interesting that Mililani would have something like this, but I'm glad there is a new modern restaurant popping up here. There really is no direction for the line, but it seems that the right window is where to order and the left is where to pick up. Also, it's up to the individual to social distance themselves. I wanted to come in to try their flat breads, but since I was in a rush I decided to save that for later and get some sliders instead. For two sliders and fries, it only cost around $9.75. You could add on two other sliders for $4 extra (it will be the same, you can't have two different flavors). I got the Bacon Jam sliders and substituted the regular fries with the Texas Sticky Fries. It took around 10 minutes for me to get my order. I was really excited because it looked so delicious. Honestly, I wish there was more bacon jam because that made the burger so delicious. I just used the sauce from the fries to juice it up. The fries were a bit of a let down. They offer a generous portion, but it's like they forgot to salt it. They didn't put much cheese. There was a lot of peppers, so much that it made the rest of the fries and even my car smell like it. I feel like I went during an off day, I'll go back and try again. read more

I just think it's super cool these two places were able to come together and partner to make something really cool. To get the food is actually really easy after you get a table you order online with a provided QR code, they text when it's ready and you just walk right up to get it, in the meantime you're enjoying drinks and getting the vibes settled! we got the shrimp scampi flat bread, side salad, and onion rings and there's absolutely no notes for me on any of it. the onion rings with crunch not greasy and the onions didn't like pull all out when you take a bite so they were cooked really well, the sriracha aioli was also a great accompaniment for me. The flat bread was fresh and soft and you get a nice real warm pull of cheese. The side salad could be cheaper because it really is just some halved cherry tomatoes and chopped up romaine with premade croutons. This place can pretty much be considered the kitchen for the Paradise Ciders taproom. They compliment each other perfectly. Bacon Jam burgers were ON POINT and you absolutely must upgrade to the sticky fries. This should also be the only bar where you willingly order a salad. The Cobb salad was HUMONGOUS and it tasted amazing! A salad like this could easily satisfy two people. But eat some carbs to absorb the ciders lol. read more

With keeping my emotions to the side, and how bad our experiences were here, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. I have been here twice and both experiences were worst than before. The first time I ordered some appetizers.The second time my wife ordered the kalua pork sliders, and had food poisoning for two days and had to go to the hospital. We called the restaurant to kindly let them know what happened, and we were met with complete indifference to what had happened to her. So, the food nor staff, is worth your time. I love to support local businesses, but with so many good food choices around the island, there's no excuse to have bad food/drinks, and then charge an arm and a leg. Ate there a few months ago. My usual order is the shrimp scampi flatbread pizza and a couple blackened shrimp tacos. The tacos were ok, but the flatbread pizza was horrible. It was overdone (almost black) and greasy as sh*t (box was soaked through). Won't be ordering here again. Too bad, the shrimp scampi flatbread pizza used to be sooo good. It was my favorite since Bravo's discontinued making pizzas. Will have to find another place that makes a good shrimp scampi pizza. First time I've been back in a while. The menu changed, along with the prices and quality of fare. I ordered regular sliders that came with fries. I got my wife a shrimp taco and onion rings. Total came to $29.25. I wouldn't have minded the increased prices if the food was the same, but the shrimp taco had 3 tiny pieces of shrimp - definitely not worth $7. The fries and onion rings came out oily and over-salted. I feel like I could have spent my money better. Sorry, HI Sliders, but you're off my list. The Cobb salad was delicious and huge. They did forget the egg which was very sad since a Cobb salad isn't Cobb salad without the egg. However the lettuce was fresh and crispy and the dressing had pleasant flavors, not too sweet and not too sour, just right! Try this place in Mililani shopping center nears Jamba juice. Ordered the bacon jam slider with fries and an additional chicken with waffles. The first bacon jam burger was ok, could have used more sauce and bacon jam. Second one was better but still needed more of the sauce and bacon jam. Chicken and waffle was good but it's said it comes with chicken between two waffles. As you can see only got chicken on top of one waffle. They give you syrup with it but I wish the syrup had some heat or spice to it. But would order again, probably add heat to it on my own. Fries were pretty good, nice and crispy. Hubs and I got to try this on a normal Wednesday, maybe 15 minutes after they opened. There was no line and we were greeted right away and encouraged to ask questions if we had any. (Thanks!) Hubs got kalua pork-- he said it was pretty awesome and meaty! He let me try a bite and I'd say I have to agree! I got blackened shrimp-- yum, yum and yum! There's the smallest bit of heat, fyi-- very yummy! Did I say it's yummy? Was excited to see a new spot in the hood! Customer service was very good and nice, the food came pretty quick. Thought the two sliders and fries were decently priced. We had the American Burger Slider and also the Chicken and Waffles. I will say that the french fries were not the most desirable part of the meal. They def were "coated". Went to Jamba Juice next door and saw this food truck through the window. The pictures looked absolutely delicious and I gave in and ordered 2 birria tacos and the bacon jam sliders. I was a bit disappointed because the food DID NOT look like the pictures at all but it was still pretty good. The tacos barely had any cheese and the consommé was a clearer broth rather than the reddish one that is usually served with birria tacos. The one little slice of lime was totally dry and I couldn't squeeze one drop of juice out so I just rubbed it all over the outside of my tacos. The sliders were a little dry and didn't have anything close to the amount of bacon jam and sauce that is depicted in the picture but it did have a good flavor. The fries were extra crispy, just the way I like them (that's how they come, I didn't request crispy fries). Even though the pictures are very deceptive the food is pretty good. HI sliders is actually a food truck that serves in the back of a garage looking brewery. My friends came here for the drinks, but I came here for the food. And I was not disappointed! First off the chicken and waffle sliders - tender and juicy and breaded well. My friends got the bacon jam sliders and that was thick and juicy, the bacon jam complimented well. They upgraded to loaded fries and you could not stop eating that. Lastly, I had to get a birria taco because you just have to. It's juicy and flavorful! I wish it wasn't ala carte. Topped it off with a fried twinkie- just a word of advice, order it when you're ready to eat it so it's fresh. Mine were soggy by the time I got to it. Food is delicious my favorite is their Birria tacos. My kids liked their burgers and my husband liked their pizza. The deep fried twinkie was a little soggy, but that's probably because we didn't eat it right away. The crew is nice and they moved into a bar/restaurant so you have to go through there to get to the food truck. But it makes for a nice place to eat if you decide to stay. Not much taste from the bacon and jam. The burger had a good meaty taste and the bun was perfectly toasted if I had to say something positive. They also gave me the loaded fries instead of the regular fries with the kalua pork sliders, so strike two. The loaded fries were decent but a little soggy. Still edible though. This lunch truck is such a treasure. I would recommend that you phone order, the food is made fresh so you may need to wait a while, but it's well worth because the food is soo amazing. I have eaten the cordon Bleu pizza, good but a bit salty, and the shrimp scampi pizza, love the flavor. The sliders are great!
