When he saw me stopped at the pump to fill the car's tank, he approached me very seriously and said that the gas station didn't have any gasoline. I always fill up there at the same time. I simply left, very sad, not because there was no gasoline, but because of the rude way he spoke to me, even though I had said good morning as a sign of respect and politeness. So he politely asked me to move to a certain spot and then directed me to go into the office to see if one of the girls could fit me in that day or I would have to schedule in the future. As we were walking in, he held the door open for me and I saw a car on a lot, and I asked him about it and the. the woman Marie started screaming and swearing like a maniac to close the lobby door and the brother-in-law said to her I'm holding the door for a customer who needs to talk to you. When I left, I was kind of shaken up by the overall experience and Eddie ( gas guy ) asked me if everything worked out. I explained to to him that I scheduled for an appointment in a week because I'm not sure if I'm gonna bring it in or not because I was so offended by Marie's attitude. Eddie then went in the booth and got a business card for his brother-in-law and told me call Anthony-- especially about the car. He's the only one that does them and he's so fair to and good about it that the guys that worked for me at budweiser that I sent him to buy cars, I would always tell them ask her Anthony and not my other brother-in-law John! Anthony is just a good guy who wants repeat Business and he cares about what he does for his customers. He then apologized to me for Marie and said " believe me, I understand how offputting her voice and attitude can be ! "

The guy took down all my info for the car and he said he'd check for parts and call me back with a quote probably by end of day. It was a Tuesday. I waited until Friday. No one called. So I went onto calling another shop that helped me. As a potential new customer, I'd give Volsar an F rating and a description of "Unresponsive." I will not be back.

Someone took my car for a drive, came back, and he said to me "your brakes are fine, I don't know what you think you're hearing. Bring it back if it gets worse." They didn't actually even LOOK at the brakes like I had requested. I was still concerned about my car and knew there was something wrong, and brought it to a different shop. This place actually looked at the car as well as drove it and found that needed all new front brakes, calipers, and struts. Well over $1000 worth of work. I'm glad I was able to give that place my money with their efforts and thoroughness. I will never bring my car to Smooth Automotive again.
