I purchased a Bonaterra pullout sofa and there is a very slim rod that goes under the pull out bed. Well, that rod ended up snapping in half and every time I sat on the sofa, it ended up sinking. I called Living Spaces and they were of no help since I was out of my warranty. I called furniture repair places and they said I'd have to purchase the entire pull out mechanism, which made no sense given that I just needed to replace the one rod. Lo and behold, I contacted the guys at Aero Welding, and they were like no problem, we can manufacture the rod. They just needed the measurements (it would have been better if I had brought the original rod, but I had thrown it away by the time I got to them) and not only were able to recreate the rod, but they made it more sturdy. The turnaround period was very reasonable as well. Once I got home, I placed the rod and it fit perfect. But the moment of truth was to sit on it and see if it held. And it did! The sofa no longer sank and it felt firm and sturdy! Felt brand new again! Shout out to the guys at Aero Welding for all of their help! Give them a call for any welding needs!

(REM = Remainders) That's where they sell the left over cut scraps of all kinds of metal. I can usually find something that will work for my current project there. I'm usually looking for angle or square tube. Today I found a piece of flat aluminum - perfect for my project. About 5 pounds. $14 out the door. :-) FYI: REMs sell by the pound, at something like half price versus the full size pieces. When you buy rems, you weight it on the scale by the front door across from the cashiers. I'll upload a photo of their current price sheet for REMs. The REM prices are posted in the REM area, which is straight through the retail store & then turn left. Customers are allowed in the REM area. M&K is also improving the wares in their store. They are selling more helpful pre-built metal parts than they used to. Gate hinges, bolts, nuts, lock boxes for steel screen doors, weld on tabs, casters, tools, drill bits, grinding wheels, gloves, & more.

I took an electrical panel door to CMF for powder-coating. The finished product was "just OK"…read more I dropped the project off on a Monday and was told it would take one week to complete. I called the following Tuesday and left a message for Antwione. I called again on Wednesday and left a message for Antwione. I called again on Thursday and finally got a hold of Antwione. He seemed confused by who I was but after I reminded him, he confirmed that the piece was ready for pick-up. When I picked up the piece Antwione showed me what I needed to do to reattach the door (use a screwdriver to pry the butterfly clips apart) but would not do it for me (I suppose he didn't want the liability if anything broke). He also explained that the spring latch would bounce back once the door was attached. Unfortunately, the spring latch broke the minute we got the butterfly clips back on. The door (which was warped during the process and will no longer lie flat) is now being held shut with velcro strips. He charged me $130 for the project which I later found out should have probably been in the $85 - $100 range. You can see the "hook marks" where the door was held in place during the powder-coating process but since they are on the inside of the door, I'm not going to complain too loudly. I won't bring another piece back here - there is no justification for it based on the quality, price or service received.

They knew what they were talking about answered all my questions I needed this work done by Friday and I was called Thursday morning letting me know my parts were ready they deliver but no need for my small order!!!
