Lots of chicken, rice and vegetables! Plenty for 3 meals for me!

First time here and the food was delicious! Great value for your money but also the food tasted good! I had their chicken hibachi with no mushrooms. I also asked for an extra side of the yum yum sauce and a teriyaki sauce. Large chunks of nicely cooked white meat chicken is in the chicken hibachi. Also plenty for 3 meals for me! It was also ready in 15 minutes. Nice gentleman took my order and everything was included in my to-go order including my extra sauces. There is a small seating area in the restaurant and a group was eating in. Will be back!

I have been searching for a good takeout hibachi place and this is exactly what I've been looking for! I wanted relatively cheap (this meal came in at about $12) and relatively plain rice which this was. My meal was delicious, they gave me so much food, and they were pretty fast after I ordered. I will be going back for sure!

Very good food, fast service, and large portions of food! The food was very fresh and delicious. We ordered hibachi chicken with yumi sauce and teriyaki chicken, not sure which one was which, but they were both excellent!

I'm always here. Fresh food. Quick service ! What more could you ask for? There is a casual dine-in option as well!

Oh my! This place is surprisingly good! I ordered the hibachi steak and chicken, and hibachi combination noodles. They are both exceptionally great similar to Beni Hana but take out. The rice was seasoned just right along with tender chicken breast. The noodles is legit and worth every penny. I pass this place everyday to work and had to finally try it. Also, the white yum yum sauce is delicious over both noodles and rice. Wow!

    Yes

Shrimp Terryaki was hot fresh large portions very good! Chicken Terriyaki chunks too big and dried out

Food is great however the online prices do not match the in store price so beware of that.

This was my fiancé and I's first time trying this place out. I had read the reviews and I thought we would give it a try since almost all of them are positive reviews. The place is cute and not the biggest but it is clean and nice. The cashier was nice and quick about business. The food is bomb!!! Oh my goodness. We found our new spot. We both got a hibachi entree. I got the scallops and he got the chicken/shrimp. The hibachi portions are nice because they're big! Overall for the price and quality of the food, it's great. We spent $27 for two big hibachi entrees and two sodas. Haven't tried anything else but We definitely will after this.

Nice dim lighting inside as well! Our server was pleasant and attentive. Good at water refills and making sure our soup and salad came out quickly. Our hibachi chef was nice and did a good job at providing a fun show. All in the group had hibachi dinners that included fried rice, noodles, veggies, soup and salad. It was a going away party/early birthday dinner and we had some yummy oranges cut up for us. It was a sweet treat! The food was yummy and I enjoyed my hibachi chicken and all the sides that came with it! Yum yum sauce was slo delicious! Great hibachi place! Food wise it was all good and plentiful.

I ordered the Kake Udon for me and two orders of steamed gyoza for my kiddo. I gotta say, I was surprised when the order arrived. The udon noodles were paper thin compared to what I'm used to. The fried tofu was so hard it was basically inedible, and the broth - well, it had little to no flavor. To top it off, my kiddo took a bite of one dumpling and then spit it out. This child DESTROYS dumplings, so I asked him what happened -- he said "who puts corn and carrots in a gyoza dumpling?!?" and I can't say I disagree with him. Pork and cabbage filling - duh! Overall, totally not our jam and we probably won't revisit it. I guess the reviews are based more on folks who haven't experienced true Japanese cooking? I don't know, but I'm pretty sure my Japanese host mother would have given it no stars.

We were seated right away and given time to look over the menu before the Hibachi Chef arrived. I love how hibachi restaurants sit you with other people because we were seated next to a very nice couple celebrating a birthday. Once we placed our orders, the Chef came to our table and started the grill. Andreas, our Chef, did a great job entertaining us all while preparing our food. He was funny and very personable. I decided on the Steak & Chicken Combo which included Fried Rice and Vegetables. I also was able to enjoy my friend's Shrimp as well. The food was amazing! The steak was cooked perfectly and was very flavorful and the shrimp was tender and fresh. Overall, the food and the service were a 10/10! If I'm ever in the area, I'd definitely return! I highly recommend stopping by if you're craving hibachi, you will not be disappointed!

Located right next to the Hampton Roads Coliseum, it's the perfect spot if you're in the area for an event. I went with two of my girls, and we had such a great time from start to finish. Our chef was so much fun -- exactly what you want from a hibachi experience. He kept us entertained the whole time, and the energy at the table just made the night even better. I ordered the filet with hibachi rice, and everything was cooked perfectly. The steak was tender, flavorful, and the rice was just as good as I remembered (honestly, that hibachi rice always hits ). Portions were generous too -- I ended up taking half my meal home, and it reheated really well the next day, which was a huge plus. Between the fun atmosphere, great service, and really solid food, this is definitely a spot I would go back to -- especially if I'm in the Coliseum area again. Honestly, I just wish I had a place like this closer to home because it was that good.

We arrived when it wasn't busy and were told there would be a 5-10 minute wait. After about five minutes, I asked about the delay after noticing staff and the manager chatting instead of seating guests. We were then seated, but waited another 10 minutes while multiple servers passed by without acknowledging us or taking our order. We ultimately decided to leave, and the manager didn't appear concerned or attempt to address the situation. It's mostly been hibachi dinners, but also mix in Happy Hour visits and last year, a visit for Newport News Restaurant Week. Let's see how this one turned out. When we walked inside, they had a nice crowd for lunch. Again, it was a holiday. We were able to be seated quickly and did take some time looking at the menu. Staff was busy and the waitress did take a minute to come to our table, but it really wasn't a rush on our day off. For my meal, I selected gyoza for appetizers and their stir-fried bento box with beef as the protein with hot spice. Everything that was cooked very well. The gyoza was full of flavor along with enough dipping sauce to help with each taste. The bento box was really good. There was enough protein and veggies included and the hot spice wasn't that spicy on the palate at all. A nice lunch that kept us full. Hayashi did deliver for the day. You know we'll be back :)
