It's mid. I've been to a couple of Chinese buffets before and this place is just ok. Service is good, the servers are attentive and cleans up the plates right away. Food is ok. I'd love to have more seasonings to anything. Like the egg drop soup, you need to add soy sauce or salt. The honey walnut shrimp lacks walnuts and needs more mayonnaise. When you think the bite is going to be good, it fails and you just eat it because you're hungry. Well, that was my case anyway. The highlight for my trip would be the baked salmon which was pretty fresh, the first plantain I ate (the second one wasn't good), and surprisingly the chocolate cake square is ok too. I got the vanilla and chocolate swirl ice cream. It was as pretty good. The selection of fruits is pretty good, they have strawberries, cherries, watermelon, sliced oranges. Everything is bland. I was pleasantly surprised by this buffet, they don't have that many options for food but it was enough for me to be satisfied. I liked their meats, veggies, rice, noodles and sushi. Absolutely unacceptable. Don't waste your time!!!! We showed up at 8:00 PM. They close at 9:30 PM. There was a 40-minute line out the door -- and no one bothered to inform customers that there was basically no food left inside. After finally getting in, almost everything was empty. No refills. No variety. Just dried-out scraps sitting in trays. It honestly felt like they stopped caring long before closing time. The tables were dirty, the dining area looked neglected, and the entire place felt poorly managed. The staff worked extremely slowly and showed zero sense of urgency, especially during peak hours. On top of that, the servers pressure customers to leave tips -- which is completely inappropriate given the level of service provided. You don't pressure people for gratuity when the service is this bad. No management presence. No communication. No organization. Do not waste your time coming here. There are plenty of better places that actually respect their customers. read more

I can't even tell you about the food because they made us so uncomfortable we refused to stay and eat. My child is learning to be a gentleman and open the door for the women in the family, they came running yelling at him "pull don't push!!!!" . The look in his eyes were terror. These people have no manners at all. He's a child for goodness sake! Then I apologized that he opens the door the wrong way and tried to fix the little cheap carpet back. They argued with me and told me no no and made everyone just stand and stare while they fixed the carpet. They have a lot to learn about being kind and professional. They are the kind always ready to have bus on others and treat them unkind because of how they judge others. Once you walk in it's hot and muggy and not very clean. It's time for another in my occasional series I call... "Guest Yelp From The Wifey!" This review will be in her words but with my Elite-level editing prowess (since we're a team!). "I am an IHSS Caretaker for an elderly lady recently recovering from hip replacement surgery. I take care of her 3-4 days a week for a few hours, and when we're out together she often enjoys lunch out and about since it gets her out of the house and she likes to stay social. She was craving Chinese Food a few weeks back and asked me to take her here. I had been here a couple of times with family when it was called 'Open Kitchen Buffet' and it wasn't too bad - so I thought... why not? Big...big mistake... Firstly, when we were shown to a table we had to ask for water several times. I was brought water, but my companion was ignored despite more than one request. After the third, we just kind of looked at each other like 'What the heck?' I had to eventually flag her down myself for water. We also asked for extra napkins and silverware at one point, and the attitude/body language of the wait staff was like it was the biggest inconvenience in the world for them to help us. At that point, my companion was using a walker and I had to help her with her plate. There were employees hovering over each of the 3 main food sections and they were eyeballing us as if to make sure we weren't taking too much food (at a supposed 'all you can eat buffet'). This made for a very uncomfortable experience. As my companion was dishing up her food, we noticed sushi and seafood along a back table and decided to check out the selection. We both spotted an employee standing in a nearby doorway leading into a storage area who was PICKING HIS NOSE IN PLAN VIEW OF CUSTOMERS AND CLOSE TO FOOD!!! After that, I finished getting my companion's food and settled at the table and was finishing getting my food; as I was coming around one of the buffet tables towards our seat, another employee was standing by the soda and soft-serve machine WHO WAS ALSO PICKING HER NOSE!!!!! I was so disgusted I could barely eat any food. My companion and ate only a a minimum amount of food, staring at each other in silent disbelief. After this, we asked for our checks. When we went to pay, my companion handed me her check and card to pay for her. The employee at the register asked for my check and my card as well. I calmly explained to her which card was for which check and she charged the WRONG CHECK TO THE WRONG CARD! Even after I had explained to her which was which three times. Each time she insisted she would do it right and was raising her voice and still she got it wrong. When I pointed out her error (despite her insistence that she would get it right), she started ranting at me and my companion in Mandarin. Needless to say, we will never be coming back here again. The level of unprofessionalism and apparent lack of hygiene among the employees here is such a major turn off that no matter how good the food might be here, I can't recommend that anybody come here as long as their current owners/management are in place. As for takeouts my friend ask for take out containe for food left on her plate, we were told you have to pay per lb for leftover. Next she was asked to remove a sausage out of her purse because they had been watching us the entire time on camera. Everyone has the right to an opinion, but as for my opinion, I wish I was able to give a billion star review. In reality, buffets are normally for youths to adults. When my grandson was little he was a McDonald's fan. So, when I took his older siblings to dine out, I would politely stop by McDonald's to purchase a happy meal and take it in the restaurant and let him enjoy his happy meal while my older grandchildren enjoyed their restaurant food. Lol's Now, that he is a teenager he is the opposite. My daughter kept bragging about this Awesome, and Ambiance Grilled Seafood buffet called Hibachi's. She knows I do not like eating in restaurants because, I cook homemade food daily. Two Sunday's ago, she called and invited me and ensure me I would love the food at Hibachi's restaurant and she was absolutely right!! All of the Seafood was absolutely fresh and it has so many choices! It was So Excellent and Satisfying until I thought I was in a candy store!Lol's Even my grandkids were surprised that I enjoyed the seafood buffet and ALL of the employees were Absolutely Amazing!! It was SoOoo delicious until I just called my Sista'friend that lives in Moreno Valley, CA, and we're going there while Superbowl Sunday is going on! I really like this asian buffet. It's family owned and run and you can tell they put a lot of pride and work into it. Food is good and very neatly presented. Service it good. One thing extra special my wife and I like is the fruit presentation. Best Chinese buffet hands down! surprised at all these bad reviews. Never had any issues with them. Salt and pepper shrimp is perfect and super crispy can eat the head and tail if you wanted kind of crisp. They have the best prices too! Walnut shrimp, lo mein, fried rice on par with Panda Express. I really didn't have high expectations of this Chinese buffet but let me say that the food was pretty darn good. The whole family enjoyed the freshness of all the items and how clean the restaurant was. For $17.99 dinner buffet for an adult, you can't get a better deal elsewhere. The only issue we had was with the cashier at the front as she was very rude and thought that I was a transient when I went in and out of the restaurant to grab something in the car. Good food, although we were disappointed that there was no raw sushi, as there are at other Hibachi Grill Buffet we've been to. There were less items available here than at other Hibachi we've been to, such as the white vermicelli noodle, mussels, other clam and shrimp dishes. The service was great. This one lady was doing a deep clean of the seats, which impressed me. The ambiance was okay, as I wasn't really expecting anything spectacular.
