I was dining at the restaurant and paid for my buffet meal. The cashier was friendly, polite, and genuinely tried to help me. Unfortunately, she accidentally deducted points from my membership card and get lost. As a result, I had to wait approximately 45 minutes for a manager to resolve the issue. The manager, Jose, handled the situation in a very unprofessional manner. He was not friendly, showed little concern for the inconvenience I experienced, and did not provide an appropriate level of customer service. While I understand that mistakes can happen, I am very disappointed with Manager Jose's lack of professionalism and poor customer service. His attitude did not reflect the level of service customers should expect from your restaurant. read more

Something seemed fishy and boy was i right. I made an advance reservation for the all-you-can-eat lobster buffet at 9:00 PM, expecting that my reservation would be honored. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing from the moment we arrived. After driving through three hours of traffic and not eating beforehand because I planned on enjoying the buffet, we were forced to stand in a long, crowded line for almost two hours. During that time, I personally witnessed the line barely move. In fact the line advanced all of five people and that was only because people got tired of waiting and left the line. Myself and the other guests were eventually told we may or may not even be seated, despite having reservations. Because of how poorly the situation was being handled, I called the casino's main line and asked to speak with a manager. The manager came to speak with me while I was still waiting in line and listened to my concerns about how unfairly everyone was being treated. The "solution" offered was that we would all be seated, but only allowed 15 minutes to eat. I asked if we could take food to go since we were being rushed through no fault of our own, and I was told no. What made the situation worse was that when I looked inside the dining area, there appeared to be plenty of seating and staff available. It felt like the line was being held back because of a food shortage rather than because the restaurant was actually full. When we were finally seated, we had only 15 minutes to eat. The whole lobsters that were advertised were not available. Instead, we were served lobster tails, fried shrimp, and mashed potatoes along with very few items to choose from. Just as I suspected, there was very little left to offer. Guests who had hoped to enjoy dessert were left with ice cream because everything else was gone. This was poor management, poor planning, and a very disappointing way to treat customers who made reservations and waited patiently. After the long drive, the long wait, the rushed seating, and the lack of advertised food, this experience left a very bad taste in my mouth. I would not recommend Serrano Buffet unless they seriously improve how they manage reservations, crowd control, and food availability. read more

For $79.99 per person, the AYCE lobster (available every Wednesday and Thursday) is absolutely worth it. The lobsters just kept coming, and everything was fresh and delicious. Aside from the lobster, they offer a wide variety of options--from salads, shrimp, soups, and a pasta bar to teppanyaki and an impressive selection of desserts. We made reservations for breakfast, and it seemed to be getting more misses than hits during our most recent trip to their Serrano Buffet. On top of that, the guest that is next to our table has no adequate table manners. He blew his nose several times so loud, and it was disgusting while we were eating next to them. I waited almost more than 25 mins to have my omelette made. The worker was nice that made my omelette, but he overcooked it, and it didn't taste that good, for waiting that long. Our main server was taking a break and her breaker was more attentive to other tables than ours. Even the obnoxious guest got better service, but I didn't see them leaving any tips, LMAO. I also asked for additional beverages, but it seemed like her communication wasn't too attentive. Even though we got subpar service and a bad dining experience, we still left a tip. read more

Came in on a Tuesday night for the Latin menu and I was delighted by the heartwarming welcome from the waittress Riki. She showed me and my dear grandmother around and was on top of our drink orders and made us feel really at home. Some of the best and most sweet attitude ive gotten recently in the industry. Rating is based on operations and communication only. We did not get to eat. Posting this because as of now, the buffet is reservation only. There are two lines (VIP and club member), but both require a reservation. If you don't have one, do not wait in line! We arrived at 5 PM and waited about 35-40 minutes before being told the long lines were only for guests with reservations and that none were available for the day. The lines are extremely long and not clearly marked, so you end up relying on other guests to figure it out. Reservations open two weeks in advance, so book early and arrive before your reservation time. Communication and signage really need improvement. If waits are going to be this long across the casino, even having a drink or coffee cart going through the lines would help. Hopefully this helps anyone visiting the casino or dining here for the first time. read more

There was also carved meat, thanksgiving sides, pizza, Asian food, and lots of desserts. As a pescatarian (who doesn't do shellfish) they had a swai fish as a protein option. Haven't been to the buffet in a while so I was able to lock a reservation in when I was at the casino. Still a hectic wait and long line for the buffet so it is difficult during prime hour. The food I got today was boring and flavorless. They had a picanha was cooked perfectly but lacked flavor.. even when dipping in the sauce they have on the side. Nothing new or special to mention. Came to Serrano Buffet for Hong Kong Lobster Night on a Friday. They charged an extra $10 surcharge for the Lobster offering regardless if you ate Lobster or not. Overall the Lobster was not worth the extra charge as they were tiny & overcooked then drenched in an MSG enriched sauce. Offering as a plain boiled option would've been much better. Aside from the lackluster lobster offering, service was amazing again with our regular server Holy! In a tense and slammed environment, she continues to maintain composure and ensures that all her guests are taken care of. Wow! Totally worth it! Friday & Sat is seafood night. No lobster these nights. Great selections. Maybe the best snow crab I've had in years. Easy to crack and whole pieces just melted in your mouth. We had server Holy who was very attentive and friendly. Holy was also very informative. Drink refills and clearing of the finished plates were taken care of almost immediately. There's several tables but you're not crowded too close to each other. Making it a comfortable atmosphere. MAKE A RESERVATION and don't do what we did last weekend. (Reviewed last week) ;-) I also want to mention, our host, Sarah was very kind by noticing I was using a cane on this night and offered us a seat closer to the buffet. Very sweet. My husband and I had reservations at 4, which was the start of their dinner crowd. We checked in, and had to wait approximately 15-20 min. Wasn't too bad considering the line looked endless. Once we were allowed to enter the dining area, we were greeted, and escorted to our table. The food was fully stocked, and there were many different choices. Crab legs being their centerpiece. I observed all of their waiters/waitresses greeting guests, taking drink orders, and making sure it was going to be a positive dining experience. The seafood I had was fresh, and it was cooked to perfection. Not overcooked and/or rubbery. I will definitely visit this place again. I recommend trying it, if you are in the market for endless steamed crab legs. It was well worth it. They also had a wide variety of sweets with "sugar free" as one of the options.
