Amazing fresh food. They give you complimentary tea and egg roll with the meal. Lunch is $15.99 and I had leftovers. Will definitely be back

this place has gone downhill since my first visit This place pre sets the proteins in the bowl and you have to choose 1. You can not mix the 3 protein options.. they're topping options are very limited. You can actually get better options and a better deal at Great Khan in th inland center. And the cook chopped up all of my noodles into 1 or 2 inch pieces as he was cooking my food.. why ??

All i had to say is i will never go back my daughters and my grandkids and myself went for lunch and has a little extra protein I'm totally disgusted

I've been coming here since I was a kid. I took my mom here for the first time in 30years and I'm happy to find that it's just as good as it was 30years ago. The manager greeted us as soon as we walked in. We came for the lunch special. You get to build your bowl, hot tea, egg rolls, and rice. For me and my mom our bill came out to $43. Great vegan option as well

Like I said earlier, I've been coming here since I was a kid and it's always a nice spot to go get something to eat. The service is great and the food is good. They have a guestroom for parties too.

Amazing food and the workers are so kind. Been going here for years and the same lady , I believe is the owner is always so sweet.

There's a nice taste from the grill that gives it a unique flavor. It doesn't just taste like one of the meal chow mein. Also, they give you a nice jasmine tea and fresh cold ice water and white rice with the lunch special it's affordable, but I think the selection on the bar is a little bit limited. I feel like other Mongolian barbecues have several more vegetables and options. The food was really great and if I could give a 4.5 star, I would only reason I would give a four instead of a five is because it wasn't outstanding amazing or mind blowing the selection on the bar of vegetables was a bit short and then the place was very very outdated maybe they're trying to go for that Bible or just as it's located in San Bernardino but it wasn't very packed when I went in and it was very pleasant vibe in atmosphere. also, the lady at the front me was very polite even walked by to make sure that I failed my bow and warned me that after cooking on the grill that it does shrink in size I would highly recommend this place and I wish I could give them a 4.5 star.

Nasty bland. Only chicken beef and tofu options no shrimp sauce at the end. Just don't go here unless you like bland

Have been coming here for so many years. Food is great and all you can eat dinner for $18.99 + tax. Children under 8 years are half price. Friendly staff and greets you upon entering the restaurant then walks you to the table. With the dinner per person is served the sides of: small bowl of steamed rice an egg roll sesame biscuit Jasmine tea fortune cookie Food buffet counter includes: Shrimps Beef Lamb Chicken Tofu Watered flavored sauces: Vinegar Bbq oil Lemon Sesame Oyster Spicy Sweet Variety of veggies/fruit: Spinach Broccoli Bean sprout Onion Green bell pepper Cilantro Napa cabbage Pineapple chunks Egg noodles After scooping all of these good stuff then you place your bowls on a counter window to be cooked. Don't forget to leave a TIP for the cook!! bon a petite !!!

Came for dinner and was pleased to know our Mongolian experience came with soup, bakes, and some good tea.

I've came to this restaurant twice now and both times have been great. I am puzzled to see folks have been leaving bad reviews. Anyway, I recommend it and message to the restaurant staff - Stay awesome guys !

Ask the Community - Mongolian BBQ

Is lunch all you can eat as well, or just dinner?

The last time I was there (2015) and the 25 years before , lunch was always one bowl only for a very reasonable price.

    Are they open today?

    Yes

A local STAPLE! I…read morediscovered this place randomly because I was trying to go to Soup & Fresh on a weekend but didn't want to wait two hours to get seated. This place is HUGE so I've never once had to wait for seating. What I love about this local, family run Mongolian spot is that it's all you can eat, so you don't have to stuff your 1 bowl like at the mall Mongolian spots. You can get 2 bowls if you want, one for noodles and veggies and the other for the meats. Best of all, when you are done, you can get more! The noodles are amazing, but what's equally as good is their side dish bar, which has pocket bread, egg drop soup, rice, spring rolls, and the BEST meatballs in gravy I've had in a while. The meat balls are so soft and flavorful. Lastly, the BEST fountain soda I've ever had is here. I usually drink 3-4 full cups before I leave. I come so often the main guy up front knows me, and always says "see you next week" when we leave.

Overall, everything was fine, but I wasn't informed beforehand that the lunch buffet didn't include…read morelamb or shrimp. The weekday lunch price of $18.99 feels reasonable, but at $23.99, you have plenty of other buffet options with a much wider selection -- places like Paradise, Empire, or Hibachi, which also include a Mongolian grill station. And honestly, if I'm only craving Mongolian grill, I'd rather drive to Pasadena and eat at Golden Palace for just $15.99. A quick tip to really make your money worth it: grab two bowls -- one for meat and one for noodles and veggies. Load up on as much meat as you can because it shrinks significantly after cooking. Take as little noodles as possible since they'll fill you up fast. Most people can only finish one or two bows, so don't waste your money by piling on too many noodles. Many previous reviews mentioned that this place used to automatically add a 6% gratuity fee even for solo diners. It seems they've stopped doing that, but they still add gratuity for larger groups.

Reading some of the previous reviews gave me a chuckle. What do you mean it was too cold inside?…read moreYou're about to stuff your face over an open fire grill. Don't want to be sweating while you're eating. Coming from highland/redlands, I am happy that there is a ayce kbbq spot in close proximity. Starting with cons: the parking is absolutely terrible. Parking spots are cramped and there's simple not enough spaces, especially during peak times. Pros: now as a long time ayce bbq lover, I understand that red castle quality is not top tier and I don't expect it to be when I go. I view red castle as an affordable joint to get my brisket and beef belly fix, which are the only two items that I basically get. It's odd reading about others experience with service, because every time I go, the service is always fast. I don't need to ask for the grill change because they are fully staffed and consistently checking in. Sure, the hospitality could improve a little but realize what you're going in there for. To stuff ya face! If you're coming here and comparing this place to other kbbq joints, you'll surely be let down. But to enjoy ayce protein for ~25 bucks without having to clean and prep a solid meal, many would realize the true gem that is Red Castle. I remember when their ayce was 13-15 bucks when they opened. Those were the days. I'm also glad that they allow single dining during the week. Not something that I'm able to take advantage of most of the time bc of work but I'm glad it's offered. To all the kbbq snobs (I'm one of them still). Go pay 40 for ayce somewhere else and be happy. Red castle is my go to for a quick fix that is close to home and affordable.

I wouldn't call this place BEST in the IE even if call it a place that's somewhat budget friendly in addition to a service fees and adding on the tip for service that's bare minimum. Quality of meats very fatty & poor & the ban chan (side dishes) are extremely overly saturated with sauce and Kim chi that wasn't fresh it was more on the SOUR and just disgusting in flavor , texture and color it doesn't seem Authentic if you know the difference of real Kim chi from other restaurants. Made several attempts to flag our server which seemed flustered and overwhelmed just for ordering extra meats and replenishing our beverages was such a huge in convenience. For KBBQ definitely in this order I'd say .. local restaurants I'd rather go to Wang Cho in riverside or chino hills U grille 2 spots in Rancho Cucamonga and As far as ayce self serve Koreana grille Riversde . If you wanna travel out hit up Orange County , Rowland heights , LA , SGV for the real deal . Would i dine here again , negative it's disgusting and poor quality of meats very fatty and rubbery texture and ban chan & soups that aren't authentic this restaurant is catered to a particular budget demographic and everything isn't just poor quality.
