Twenty-six years ago, my wife celebrated our wedding rehearsal dinner here. The food was excellent, the service was excellent, and the price was reasonable. Last week, I ate there again. It must have been nearly a decade since I had last dined there. The food was still good, the service was still good, but two things changed that led to my rating; 1) The price for a single diner, regardless of what you eat, is AYCE. With a tip, my dinner cost $30. 2) The sesame biscuit, perhaps my favorite part of the meal, was inedible. Instead of a crispy pouch, it was a flat doughy mess. When I complained, the manager brought me a warmer one, but it wasn't any better. (She explained to me that the biscuits are fried in a different kind of oil that doesn't cook the biscuits the same way.) Parking is wide open. The ambience is the same as it was before the pandemic. I'm not telling you to eat elsewhere. The food and service are still good. I just don't recommend eating here if you are on a budget or prefer a better biscuit. If I do return, it'll be for the lunch special, not the AYCE dinner. read more

I wanted to like this place so bad, the restaurant itself is very clean and well maintained. You pay 16 bucks for lunch and it's only one trip and you can only get 1 meat choice. I have been to countless other MBBQs and it's unlimited trips along with any choice of meat you want. Also they said it came with jasmine tea I did not receive that. I am also use to the little bread pocket coming with my meal but that is only offered at dinner I believe. The last two things that will make it so I don't come back is the sauces to flavor your food is so watered down even if you drench it in sauce the flavor won't stay, No Teriyaki sauce either which is very funky. this place has gone downhill since my first visit This place pre sets the proteins in the bowl and you have to choose 1. You can not mix the 3 protein options.. they're topping options are very limited. You can actually get better options and a better deal at Great Khan in th inland center. I've been coming here since I was a kid. I took my mom here for the first time in 30years and I'm happy to find that it's just as good as it was 30years ago. The manager greeted us as soon as we walked in. We came for the lunch special. You get to build your bowl, hot tea, egg rolls, and rice. For me and my mom our bill came out to $43. There's a nice taste from the grill that gives it a unique flavor. It doesn't just taste like one of the meal chow mein. Also, they give you a nice jasmine tea and fresh cold ice water and white rice with the lunch special it's affordable, but I think the selection on the bar is a little bit limited. I feel like other Mongolian barbecues have several more vegetables and options. The food was really great and if I could give a 4.5 star, I would only reason I would give a four instead of a five is because it wasn't outstanding amazing or mind blowing the selection on the bar of vegetables was a bit short and then the place was very very outdated maybe they're trying to go for that Bible or just as it's located in San Bernardino but it wasn't very packed when I went in and it was very pleasant vibe in atmosphere. also, the lady at the front me was very polite even walked by to make sure that I failed my bow and warned me that after cooking on the grill that it does shrink in size I would highly recommend this place and I wish I could give them a 4.5 star. read more

The service is terrible and the staff are rude and dont talk much. This place is all you can eat ONLY so expect to be charged the AYCE pricing if you only get one serving. They will not tell you its only AYCE either, they just sit you and assume you know. There are no menus. All the sauces are watered down and they dont have much of a variety. Friendly staff and greets you upon entering the restaurant then walks you to the table. Food is good but you don't get what you pay for. $16 a person for lunch per person. The bowls are small and they fill up with meat leaving no room for vegetables. It's too expensive to eat here. I used to pay a lot less. For the $16 bowl, you only get to serve yourself once. So try and load it up as much as you can. $24 for dinner per person. We've been coming here for over 25 years. Food is fresh, service is friendly. It's usually busy, so we've learned to see who is in front of us, and when they get their food, ours will be next coming off the huge grill. One thing I always ask for is their chili oil. They don't put it on the tables. I love their shrimp. It's one of the few times I get to eat shrimp during the year, so it's something I always look forward to. The ambiance is bustling. This is my first time coming back here since I was a kid over 20 years ago. I just had a random craving for it. I came for dinner on a Tuesday night. Glad to say it's pretty much what I remember. This establishment deserves all the recognition it can receive. As a returning customer for almost 20 years. They have never failed me. I've seen the adjustments over time. They've always provided outstanding customer service. The owners make you feel welcome. The cooks are great and take instructions well. I prefer my BBQ charred. It gives it great flavor and brings out the true taste. A tip for the cooks goes along way. For anyone saying negative things about this business. Is not being fair. Yes, they are in a tough area of San Bernardino. But that's no reason to shame them. They've been around for decades. Survived 2020 with all the madness, inflation and everything in between. The food is amazing! Especially if you know how to compliment everything. The prices are very reasonable. I leave Mongolian satisfied each time. It's clean and up to code. For, the "buffet " is literally the very basic, noodles, basic beef, super basic sauces and OLD veggies. THAT IS IT. No other sides at all. Oh yeah they give you a egg roll, ONE egg roll per person and charge you if you want another one. Fountain drinks, be careful. No refills. Service, hard to come by. Lunch is a set price for 1 plate and the meat is already in the bowl you choose which meat you want and don't have the option to mix. You choose all the veggies and they cook it for you. When you get back to your table they have rice, hot tea and water waiting for you. They discontinued the pocket bread since Covid so if you want it you have to order it separate and it comes in an order of 4. The place is older inside but nice.
